Cebu Prison Inmates to hold a Tribute to Michael Jackson
The Youtube video sensation that captured the world of the Cebu Prison inmates dancing to the song “Thriller” is still a hit. The security guard consultant at the Prison, Byron Garcia was devastated when he heard of Michael Jackson’s death.
“My heart is heavy because my idol died,” said Byron Garcia, security consultant at a Philippine prison who organized the famous video of 1,500 inmates doing a synchronized dance to “Thriller.”
Since Michael Jackson’s death, the video has garnered more viewers. (24 MILLION VIEWERS and climbing)
Byron Garcia mentioned that the inmates will hold a tribute on Saturday, dancing the same “Thriller” dance and a minute of prayer.
