Charice Pempengco denies that her first Manila concert was a flop

After Charice Pempengco’s first solo concert at the SMX Convention Center last June 30, rumors began to crop up that the show was a flop. But the young international singing sensation argued that it was actually a huge success based on the swarming crowd who attended the event. Pero pinakita nila that night na talagang puno yung SMX,” she explained in an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon aired last July 7.
She may have rubbed elbows with various Hollywood celebrities and appeared in shows and events abroad, but her detractors pointed out that her growing fame in the international scene doesn’t have the same effect in her own country.
Despite the constant intrigues being thrown her way, Charice chose to look at the brighter side of her career and enjoy the loyalty of her local fans who have made her My Inspiration album a certified Gold record-holder. She sold even more copies during her recently-concluded mall show. Make it platinum!” she beamed.

Charice,
Ignore those Filipinos who think that your show in the Philippines was a flop. Well, whatever they think it’s there lost. If the Filipinos think that you’re not a great singer, they are stupid. All of us in the US and all over the world loves you…..so you should be proud of yourself. They are just veryyyyyy jealous.
Charice,
Don’t mind what other filipinos said to you.As far as I am concerned you are doing your job heartily to make them happy. And most especially, you are sharing your bleesings to some other filipinos and being proud for the country. You deserved it! Gud is always their for your assistance.Don’t forget to pray everyday.
Charice,
I would suggest you ignore those people who criticize you. They have nothing better to do but destroy others for their benefit. Those are low life people who use others to get a few minutes of fame. It’s a shame but you have to live with it. They may have been paid by a singer or singers who envy your success. Just keep up the good work. Ignore them.
Just ignore the haters. There are a lot of them around. Charice, you are God’s gift to music. He gave you that especial gift to inspire those who just love good and genuine talents, and your talent is amazing. God knows that millions of fans love you, especially overseas, including here in New Zealand. Ellen, Oprah, and David Foster, etc are superior proofs. Let your detractors have their painful time accepting your top-class achievements. During my time, they’re simply the bakya fanatics. Green-eyed monsters, they are.
