Maybe it’s a curse. Every summer, I meet one cool guy. Last year, I met JOSHKO and we had a blast. I had a great time with him, subtle conversations, flirting here and there but that was about it. He’s straight of course. Somehow, I’ve had that cycle for a long time. I always attract nice straight guys. Haha! Walang inggitera okay, friends lang!
Then, I meet ERIC. Just a great guy. He’s a bartender at the usual bar we go to in Center City. A college grad who is trying to decide what to do with his life with questions like, “Grad School? Take a boring job?” At first I thought he was a snob. He didn’t speak to anyone, didn’t acknowledge anyone. One night, I got a little tipsy and I started talking to him. He has a beautiful smile. I didn’t know until that moment. I was flirting away and he was just laughing. His girlfriend was sitting at corner of the bar. She was really cool too! She just laughed it off and the three of us had a great time.
Well, Eric this song is for you. You are simply amazing. It used to be rare for “us gurls” to meet straight people with a great attitude towards “us gurls”, if you know what I mean. And you have treated us with respect and we like you for that! Here’s Josh Kelley – with AMAZING!
