Buong bayan ang nakiiyak sa madramang first episode the Maalaala Mo Kaya 18th Anniversary Special. Ang episode na pinamagatang Debutante starring sina Erich Gonzales at Ai-ai Delas ay pumalo ng 35.2% sa national TV ratings ng TNS Media Research. Samantala, panalo rin ang first part ng Vilma: A Woman for All Seasons na nakakuha ng 25.9%. Sa ABS-CBN naman tumutok ang sambayanan ng mga updates tungkol sa malungkot na pagpanaw ni former president Corazon Aquino.
