Why is Google spelled Googlle today?

You must be wondering why the Google homepage has the word Google spelled incorrectly having two “L”s instead of one. Well well! It’s Google’s 11th birthday! Yes! Get it?
Google always comes up with the funkiest themes be it a holiday theme or whatever it is but they surely find interesting things to do with their homepage to catch someone’s attention! Great marketing!
Happy Birthday Google!
The Puma Index – The most exciting way to follow the Market

Ha! And you thought finance and economics is boring. Not anymore.
Puma has a new index that will track the stock market for you and instead of simply watching tickers and symbols, this one will display a man or a woman (of your choosing) lose pieces of clothing when the market goes down. If they market completely collapses (we hope not) the guy or girl will lose all of their clothing down to their Puma TM Bodywear.
The welcome message goes:
The Puma Index is a global stock ticker with a twist. When the market goes down, our model’s clothes come off – right down to their Puma Bodywear. At least when you lose your shirt, at least they do too!
One thing for sure, the GUY is cute! And while the market is closed, he sleeps… fun huh?!

Bayanihan Fund Drive: Donate to Ondoy Flood Victims
I had planned on posting pictures from Butse Gang’s biggest party this year today. However, with the recent news about typhoon Ondoy hitting the Philippines causing casualties and damage, we are dedicating today’s post to help the flood victims. The televised news through ABS-CBN and GMA are too heart-wrenching to watch and we know that many of our fellowmen have been affected. Chuva Chienes dot com joins Barrio Siete in helping the flood victims.
To all Chuva Chienes dot com readers who are overseas and have the resources to help, we are asking you to join us in Bayanihan sa Barrio by sending monetary donations that will be given to the Philippine Red Cross. As of this writing, a total of PHP19,352 have been received from OFWs all over the globe. Let’s join together in this Bayanihan Fund Drive.
The the bloggers out there who may not have the resource to assist financially, we are asking you to help spread the word through your blogs.
Barrio Siete is collecting donations through the site. You can do any of the following:
1.) Make a donation to our Bayanihan Fund Drive: Donate to Ondoy Flood Victims. If you can’t, then help us by making this viral and create an entry entitled: “Bayanihan Fund Drive: Donate to Ondoy Flood Victims“. A link to this original entry will be appreciated where your readers can make a donation. Please leave us a note in the comment section if you are joining so we can list your entry, in case the pingback doesn’t work.
2.) Invite other bloggers to join our “Bayanihan Fund Drive: Donate to Ondoy Flood Victims”
3.) We will list the names of the donors in a worksheets, their organization and/or their websites, unless they prefer to be anonymous.
4.) The listing will be updated regularly and will be posted here in Barrio Siete Dot com.
5.) We are only accepting monetary donations in currencies accepted by Paypal.
6.) All donations will be remitted only to the Philippine National Red Cross in Manila. (We have not made any contact with them yet.)
This is where you can make your donation.
