I don’t think one could use such a scandal to promote an upcoming film. Better yet, if one does use this type of publicity – we hope that they all come out of it unscathed in the end. This is not your normal publicity stunt (which I doubt that it is), this affects a whole lot of people.
The question is: Does showbusiness care about anything else other than making a blockbuster film? To the industry, good or bad publicity – - is still publicity. The Manny Pacquiao – Krista Ranillo – Jinkee Pacquiao triangle could cost Manny a lot of money! There are already rumors flying that he gave P20 Million to Krista after his recent win. What’s the truth to that? Not sure.
With a reported $15M (P720,000,000) less taxes and expenses from his Dela Hoya win- – Manny could probably sit back for a while and not care about a movie hitting big at the box office. Or maybe he does. If you are a Manny Pacquiao fan, would you watch the movie with or without the Krista Ranillo Scandal?

Although former couple Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano are finally talking to each other months after their breakup, Angel refused to talk about the reason for their split. “Ayaw ko talagang magsalita,” the actress said, adding that she is in no position to go into details since Luis is also keeping mum about the issue. “Alam n’yo naman ako, kahit dati hindi rin naman ako nagsasalita.” Angel also pointed out that she and Luis respect each other to divulge any private details.
KC Concepcion would like to try acting in indie films
Having a teleserye is a dream come true for KC Concepcion and now that Lovers in Paris has proven to be a successful project, KC reveals that she wants to try other things besides doing mainstream TV. “I would love to do indie. ‘Yun nga yung maganda this year na-fulfill ko na ‘yun pangarap ko na subukan lahat. Nagumpisa po ako sa theater, then nag-hosting na rin ako then movies then teleserye and commercials so maganda ‘yung feeling ko ngayon na masubukan lahat ng iba’t ibang klaseng paraan para umarte magawa ko and now it would be nice to do an indie film and it will be masaya talaga and parang experimental ng konti,” shared KC.

Actor Johnny Delgado has passed away
Veteran actor Johnny Delgado has been reported to have passed away today at 1:20 p.m. Delgado has been diagnosed with lymphoma or cancer of the lymph nodes in 2008 and was responding well to chemotherapy early this year.The actor last appeared in Star Cinema’s You Got Me opposite Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby. His recent television roles were in GMA’s Kamandag and ABS-CBN’s Maria Flordeluna and May Bukas Pa.

I guess this is the biggest scandal on the net today. The Manny Pacquiao, Jinkee Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo triangle is super hot. The news exploded right after Manny’s win against Miguel Cotto when a video surfaced on the net from celebnation.tv where Manny was filmed in his car driving away with a woman at the passenger seat covering her face. News has it that the clip was uploaded on November 3rd and Krista didn’t arrive in the U.S. until November 9th. Hmmm.
Anyway, according to MB, during Krista’s interview with GMA – 7’s “24 Oras” – she flatly denied rumors and allegations that she is having an affair with Manny and that “I’m still with Dom” (as in director Dominic Zapata). She also said, “No dear, I’m not pregnant.” – Source

Angel Locsin: ‘Hindi ako nagpapaligaw ngayon’
Angel Locsin said that while she continues to be busy with Shop and Share, the online charity auction that she started with fellow celebrities to raise funds for flood victims, she is also gearing up for her 2010 projects which includes a teleserye and a movie.
The actress said that her movie with Aga Muhlach, which had been previously postponed, will be due out next year. Angel said that she can’t wait to start working with the actor. “Wow, eh siyempre Aga Muhlach ‘yun, di ba? Sino ba naman ang tatanggi at sino ba naman ang ayaw? Very happy ako na nagkausap kami at sinabi niya na gusto niya akong makatrabaho. Roxanne Guinoo will return to primetime TV via ‘Mahal Na Mahal Kita’
Roxanne Guinoo will soon start taping for her newest soap, Mahal Na Mahal Kita, where she stars opposite Sid Lucero and Rayver Cruz. The teleserye will be one of ABS-CBN’s major shows for the first quarter of 2010. When asked about her reaction when this project was first offered to her, Roxanne shared that it was truly worth the wait after her brief hiatus on primetime TV. “Matagal na itong napag-usapan e—kung anong magiging flow ng story, kung purely drama, tapos kung anong mga eksena ang kaya naming gawin—maganda talaga yung objective nung proyekto. Parang ibabalik ulit natin yung lakas ng drama sa viewers,” she told ABS-CBN.com after her special production number at the Star Magic World Tour concert in Araneta Coliseum last November 13.

Batangas Governor Vilma Santos and her husband, former Senator Ralph Recto, are no longer supporting Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, administration party Lakas-Kampi-CMD’s main man for the presidential elections next year.
Instead, the two are the newest members of the Liberal Party, the political party that will carry the Noynoy Aquino-Mar Roxas tandem. Recto, who lost his bid for senator in 2007 when he ran under Lakas-Kampi, is joining LP’s senatorial slate. Gov. Vilma Santos will run for re-election.
