Brandon Spikes of Florida Gators Eye Gouging Video
This is sooo crazy! I only heard about stricter rules for the NFL regarding the safety of the NFL players due to increase in Alzheimer’s disease or Dementia for football players due to concussions they suffer through any game. But there has been no rule about Eye Gouging.
Watch the video closely and you will see Brandon Spikes clearly sticking his fingers through the helmet of an opponent..
The Miami Herald reported:
“The incident occurred during a pile-up, and though Spikes was not flagged for the behavior, strong video evidence showed Spikes shoving his hand into Ealey’s facemask. On Sunday during his weekly post-game conference call, Meyer indicated that he was unaware of the eye-gouging…”
As a Gator fan, I’ll admit they have not played very well in several games this year. However, when everything is on the line, I believe they can and will do whatever it takes to win. Gators should be always competitive enough to keep pace with the others. I used to attend their games even their tickets get sold out. Luckily I fond a good place to get my seat
