Sharon Cuneta excited to play a Fil-Chinese character in Mano Po 6 :: ABS-CBN.com

Mano Po 6, Sharon Cuneta’s first film with Regal Films na rival outfit ng home studio ng megastar dati na Viva Films will keep her busy for the remainder of 2009. Good mood si Shawie (her pet name) nang dalawin namin sa shooting ng naturang pelikula a few days ago sa Subic Bay Yacht Club sa Zambales.
Isang importanteng eksena na lang ang natitirang kukunan and Sharon’s work was done for that day. In this latest installment of the Mano Po movie franchise, Sharon gets to work with some actors like Heart Evangelista as her rebellious daughter and Dennis Trillo for the first time and others like Christopher de Leon for – in Sharon’s own words – the umpteenth time.
First time niyang gumanap na Fil-Chinese sa pelikula and this excites Sharon no end. When asked how she chooses a film project, Sharon says that it all boils down to the story. “When the story, the project has integrity. The way I choose is like this eh, you give me a story, an idea and let’s see from there.
“Magkumare sila,” ani Sharon.
