Coco Martin on his first product endorsement

Considered one of the top actors of his generation, Coco Martin is also one of Philippine entertainment’s busiest. Taking up most of his time are shootings for TV projects: his current afternoon TV drama “Nagsimula sa Puso” where he is paired with promising actress, Maja Salvador, and “Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla presents Tonyong Bayawak” set to air next year where he will play the lead. The talented young actor recently gained recognition playing the role of Ramon, the main antagonist in the highly-acclaimed TV series “Tayong Dalawa,” with Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson as lead stars.
Coco starts his day early. He wakes up at 5:30 in the morning and heads straight to back-to-back tapings. “Pag may oras sa mga tapings na bakante, natutulog din ako para mag-recharge,” he shares. “Matindi ang pressure kaya kung dati ay matakaw ako, ngayon kailangan ko na ng balanced diet. Basta may dasal, tamang tulog, at tamang pagkain, kaya kong labanan ang stress,” Coco adds.

Did you actually -EAT- Wow Ulam before you wrote this article? I seriously doubt that Coco Martin actually tasted the “Wow Ulam” that is out in the market. Maybe he ate a different version, for promotions.
I ate, or at least tried to eat, Wow Ulam. It is downright disgusting. It even made my sister’s allergies flare up. She is allergic to chicken and seafood… last I heard, “CALDERETA” is not supposed to chicken nor seafood.
All I’m saying is, next time someone endorses a damn product, at least alamin nyo kung maganda nga yan para sa career nyo beyond financial matters. With a horrible product like Wow Ulam… jeez. I’d like to see Coco Martin actually buy one off a grocery shelf and eat it in front of me without throwing up.
Last night my son was rushed to the hospital in Quezon City General Hosp. My son ate Wow Ulam, lechon paksiw flavor, after 25 minutes, rashes came out and had a massive redness all over his body, and had shortness of breath. He was diagnosed to have an allergy of what he ate and was injected Diphenhydramine ampule, CBC platelets results as monocytes over the allowed bracket 0.7. After injection, he vomitted all what he had eaten. It was horrible to see my son suffer, by eating that canned Wow Ulam, that almost caused his life if not properly taken care of.
How I wish the makers of this canned goods is inspected carefully, with proper quality control, on how they handle the preservation of the food.
I hope it won’t happen again to others. I will not let my son to buy that canned Wow Ulam again. It will kill a person, with or without allegy.
