This is why I am not too happy with Carrie Prejean right now.
I was really furious when I watched Meredith Vieira’s interview with Carrie Prejean on the Today Show. I watched her respond to the questions and watched her talk about how she is being attacked as a conservative woman and so forth. She even mentioned that she was being “Palinized” (referring to how ex-Alaskan governor Sarah Palin was attacked because she is a conservative). Can we get real here?
I am not a Democrat nor a Republican. In fact, I am a registered independent. The thing that irks me the most (regardless of party association) is hypocrisy. How can Carrie Prejean sit there and say that she is being attacked as a conservative when she was the one who was self-righteous in the first place yet when her life is dissected, we find all sorts of lies beneath her goody-two-shoes image.   This is the same reason I hate self-righteous people condemning same-sex marriage or harping about why homosexuality is a sin and then in the end you find that they do the same exact things that they condemn!
Here’s a new one. A guy named Jasen Bruce, a marine reservist – attacked an Orthodox Priest because he thought that the guy was a terrorist and hit him with a tire iron because he believed that the guy said the words, “Allahu Akbar” which traslates to “God is Great!” which Jase Bruce said are the words uttered by terrorists before they blow themselves up.
He claims that he was terrified and called 911 after pinning down Rev. Alexios Marakis ( a native of Greece) and said that the priest had grabbed him in a sexual manner. Here’s a quote from the report:
Bruce, a reservist with a West Palm Beach unit since March, had his trunk open so he could get dry cleaning out, police said. Bruce, who lives in the apartment building, was not in uniform.
Bruce grabbed a tire iron from the trunk, hit Marakis four times over the head and chased him about three blocks before pinning the priest, police said.
In a 911 call, Bruce made a derogatory comment about a man he said was a terrorist and was trying to rob him and had grabbed him in a sexual manner, police spokeswoman Laura McElroy said.
Okay – I’m there with him when he was terrified. He may have thought that a foreigner asking for directions (who couldn’t speak much English) may have said something else.   Grabbing him in a sexual manner could also be a trigger because no one should be assaulted like that by anyone. But, could it be that because the person who tried to approach him in a sexual manner is a guy? Is it because he is homophobic?
I was out with friends one time at a gay bar and there was a dancer there.   I noticed that when people are giving him tips and touches him in a way that is somehow intimate, he gets angry. I’m not saying that customers should abuse the dancer just because he is a dancer but I believe that the dancer should at least expect that it may happen when customers are having fun and have been drinking and so forth.  The last I heard was that the dancer hit a customer so bad that the customer’s face was bleeding. The reason? Because the dancer was touched inappropriately. My question to the dancer – - why dance at a place like that then? It’s like Carrie Prejean saying that women shouldn’t show skin when she’s sending out sex video tapes and posing topless. Sheesh!!
Back to Jasen Bruce. Yes, he is a reservist.  But he has also changed his story now. According to Towerload.com
Bruce has since changed his story and says the priest hit on him and grabbed his genitals.
Bruce, who is now claiming he’s freaked out enough by having men hit on him to brutalize them with a blunt object, is a pin-up model (top photo) for All American Guys. You can see more of his “portfolio” here.
My question to Jasen – - does he know who patronizes All American Guys? This is complete hypocrisy at its finest and it p**sses me off. Just get off your high horse for crying out loud.
