Krista Ranillo’s Family Speaks…

The issue hasn’t died down. Now that the spotlight is beaming on the burning question whether the affair between Krista Ranillo and Manny Pacquiao is true or not, Krista’s family responded. In a text message sent to “The Buzz” host Boy Abunda on Saturday, Krista’s father, Mat Ranillo III, admitted that “the family is deeply hurt with this insanity.” According to Pinoy Parazzi’s Chit Ramos, even the veteran actress Gloria Sevilla has defended her granddaughter in a statement below:
Samantala, ise-share namin sa inyo ang isang mensahe ni Mat Ranillo para sa kaibigang Boy Abunda: “I sent this to Rowena, Ate Chit. She’s the secretary of Boy. I don’t know kung umabot. Paki-send sa kanya kung saka-sakali. Thanks so much for your love and effort. Dear Kuya Boy, thanks for being impartial about Krista’s issue sa The Buzz. We’ve been accused and abused, but we have forgiven those who has wronged us. The family is deeply hurt with this insanity. People are amused at negativism than national honor, and cultivate hate than love. Peace be with you.”
From Krista: “Thanks for defending me. At this point, wala talaga akong kakampi. But the very few I have on my side, I will remember and cherish forever. Napaiyak po ako sa write-up. The rest, I can’t reveal at the moment, dahil masyado nang personal, pero alam kong lalabas din ito one of these days.”
May official statement din si Gloria Sevilla lola ni Krista on her father side. Hindi lang sa showbiz ang mensahe niya kundi sa kanilang mga kababayan sa Cebu, Davao at Dipolog na nagmamalasakit din sa kanila. “I’m deeply saddened that Krista, my apo, is being condemned. I am personally requesting that you know the facts first. My apo is smart and she’s of age na. I’d like to give her the privilege to speak for herself. Matanda na ako, and I know that we have to focus on Trixie’s condition. We almost lost her before, we can’t afford to lose her again.”
