Krista Ranillo’s manager says rumors linking the actress and Manny Pacquiao are “unfounded”

Pacquiao breaks silence on Krista Ranillo issue
Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao on Sunday broke his silence on his rumored affair with actress Krista Ranillo – an issue that overshadowed his November 15 victory against Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Interviewed by GMA News, Pacquiao said he and Krista are just “good friends.”
“Matalik na magkaibigan talaga kami (We’re just good friends),” he said.
Krista will star in Pacquiao’s next movie, Wapakman.

Whoah! It’s not surprising after all. The countless teaser trailers released before the movie was released were enough to make our Twilight fans crave for blood. Twilight’s new moon is supposedly packed with good stuff with the addition of Dakota Fanning as well. The one thing I can’t wait to see is the extra 30 pounds of muscle that Taylor Lautner added to his physique which is quite evident in the photos released while he was filming the film. Imagine the steel abs. Whoah! But apparently, it’s not only his muscles that is capable of bulking up. JustJared had released photos of the hunky Taylor Lautner bulging up after the gym…. if you know what I mean! Do you see what I see?

The issue hasn’t died down. Now that the spotlight is beaming on the burning question whether the affair between Krista Ranillo and Manny Pacquiao is true or not, Krista’s family responded. In a text message sent to “The Buzz” host Boy Abunda on Saturday, Krista’s father, Mat Ranillo III, admitted that “the family is deeply hurt with this insanity.” According to Pinoy Parazzi’s Chit Ramos, even the veteran actress Gloria Sevilla has defended her granddaughter in a statement below:

Dolphy, patriarch of the Quizon clan, considers Willie Revillame as part of his family.
“Matagal ko nang kasama si Willie, parang anak ko na yan, e,” said the King of Comedy of his co-star in Nobody, Nobody… But Juan!, at the press conference for the Metro Manila Film Festival entry. ”Pag nagkakamali nga ‘yan, sa akin tumatakbo. Humihingi siya ng advice. Mahal ako nun, e.”
The showbiz icon gives the Wowowee host the benefit of his wealth of experience. “Sabi ko, ikaw [umiwas] kang kainisan ka ng mga kasama mo sa trabaho. Maganda yung ka-vibes ka ng lahat. Medyo bawasan mo yung high blood.”

To affirm that all’s well in his family, world boxing champion Manny Pacquaio hugged and kissed his wife Jinkee in public this morning, November 20, downplaying rumors that he is having an affair with a sexy actress.
Manny arrived in the country from Los Angeles around 5:30 a.m., accompanied by Jinkee, his parents Dionisia and Rosalio, members of his training team, and Deputy National Security Adviser Chavit Singson.
Krista Ranillo, the rumored girlfriend of the boxing champ, was not on the same flight.

The rumors are right. There are no full frontal shots of Levi Johnston but he does show more than what you would normally see on his online photos.
I am now wondering whether he should have done Playgirl this soon or should he have waited until he’s totally fit and buffed. I think that he is very sexy but the photo shoot looks so tame and so plain, anyone could have taken them. It’s like an amateur photo shoot because it is shot in the shower (it actually looks like a shower room that hasn’t been cleaned for ages and I wonder if that was the look they were trying to obtain).

I have a huge crush on Taylor Lautner. He is handsome, has a great body and his role in the new Twilight movie, New Moon is sure to make me want him even more. LOL!

I don’t think one could use such a scandal to promote an upcoming film. Better yet, if one does use this type of publicity – we hope that they all come out of it unscathed in the end. This is not your normal publicity stunt (which I doubt that it is), this affects a whole lot of people.
The question is: Does showbusiness care about anything else other than making a blockbuster film? To the industry, good or bad publicity – - is still publicity. The Manny Pacquiao – Krista Ranillo – Jinkee Pacquiao triangle could cost Manny a lot of money! There are already rumors flying that he gave P20 Million to Krista after his recent win. What’s the truth to that? Not sure.
With a reported $15M (P720,000,000) less taxes and expenses from his Dela Hoya win- – Manny could probably sit back for a while and not care about a movie hitting big at the box office. Or maybe he does. If you are a Manny Pacquiao fan, would you watch the movie with or without the Krista Ranillo Scandal?
