Tiger Woods loses endorsement Gatorade’s Tiger Focus discontinued

Bloomberg news reported yesterday that marketers have pulled out commercial featuring Tiger Woods from TV Networks and cable channels.

Then, he lost his first endorsement. PepsiCo’s (PEP) Gatorade division will be discontinuing their Tiger Focus product. A product first named after an athlete. Pepsi denies that the discontinuation of the product has something to do with the recent scandal surrounding the embattled golfer’s infidelity.

“We decided several months ago to discontinue Gatorade Tiger Focus along with some other products to make room for our planned series of innovative products in 2010,” Gatorade told CNBC in a statement.

Remember, all of his endorsers backed him up in the beginning when there was only one alleged affair.
