It’s True: Elin Nordegren is seeking a divorce from Tiger Woods

What would you expect from a woman who has been humiliated X number of times. If Elin Nordegren is not a woman of class, she would have been blabbing her mouth about the whole affair and saying all sorts of evil things about Tiger. But I haven’t heard her speak just yet. Either she’s doing everything quietly or she’s trying to work things out with Tiger.
But, that’s not according to the news. According to Los Angeles Times, Elin is seeking a divorce. Can you blame her?
One thing that this scandal did good for websites is the increase in web traffic.
“Tiger Woods” has been the fastest-rising search term in the past 30 days, according to a Google spokeswoman, after Woods was in a car crash in late November that eventually led to him confessing to cheating on his wife, Elin Nordegren.
“He has realized a 5,000 per cent increase compared to the previous month,” the spokeswoman said.
Representatives from Time Inc., which owns Golf.com, told The Telegraph that their website had also seen a 600 per cent increase in traffic since the first story broke. On Thursday afternoon, nine of the top 10 stories on Golf.com were about Woods, and a link is posted to Facebook and Twitter updates about Woods.
Search engine Yahoo also lists “Tiger Woods” as one of its top searches, and on Dec. 8, Yahoo’s CEO Carol Bartz told an investor conference that the scandal was “better than Michael Jackson dying.”
I remember the traffic that Michael Jackson’s death brought to my blog. It was 400 times more than the usual visits most specially when I posted the replay of his funeral service.
Getting back to the story, Elin is being treated in many different ways by blog visitors. Some say she’s a gold-digger. Some say that she is ultra classy for staying silent.
Whatever the outcome would be about this scandal, it’s not going to be easy for Tiger. If she takes half his fortune with her – - it may not break his bank account but it would surely hurt.
