Indian housemate Harish continued to be hard on the housemates, pushing them to be frustrated with him. While seated at the dining table, Paul Jake told Harish off in front of his fellow housemates. In reply, Harish – after all, in an act – appeared not to know what the problem was between them. He explained he only wanted them to stop fooling around and follow his instructions for the dance. Exasperated, Rica answered him with: “You’re teaching us (about) listening but you’re not listening to us.” No words have been spoken truer. That is, if only the whole act of Harish was real.
Meanwhile, Mariel underwent some problems with her flying to Big Brother India. In turn, she needed to be interviewed by an Indian consul who was another planted Indian character. Of course, Mariel aced the fake interview. Upon her arrival at the Big Brother India house, she was welcomed by five Indian housemates. It was them who gave away a clue to Mariel that they were not real Indian housemates by saying they could also speak Tagalog. Being the quick-witted that Mariel was, she instantly understood that Big Brother India was only a set-up. The reason behind the whole Philippines-versus-India challenge was explained to her by Big Brother in the confession room: it was to see how competitive she and her housemates were.
But so as not to cut off the challenging set-up so soon, the Pinoy housemates were shown a video of Mariel with the Indian housemates who were playing pretend that they were in the Big Brother India house. In addition, they were also shown a video of Mariel and the Indian housemates dancing to Jai Ho.They had no idea that the Big Brother India was just a set-up until Mariel was sent back to the house and told them it wasn’t real. With that, Paul Jake spearheaded the confrontation with Harish’s real identity. He was followed by Melai, who already questioned and discussed the authenticity of Harish’s harsh character with Jason and Carol earlier. Harish eventually confessed and before he left the house, he and the housemates danced altogether one last time.
As Christmas Day is fast approaching, Big Brother thought up a surprise gift for Johan. He knew how much Johan worries about his family outside so he arranged a 100-second visit for Johan’s mom. Johan was called to the confession room before the evictee of the week was announced. The visit turned out to be a tearful yet still happy event as soon as Johan’s mom tore the blindfold away from her son’s eyes. When Big Brother asked Johan how he felt after the visit, he said he was very happy and that he knew he need not to worry about his family outside as they were doing fine.
Following to the “bigness” of this Saturday night, it was a big suprise that Carol was the newest evictee of the Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Edition. Already nominated twice previously, she was always saved by the myriad number of votes coming to her rescue. Unfortunately, having garnered the lowest tallied vote for being saved and evicted (-18.42%) made her stay in the house ended tonight. Hermes came in at second with a -9.96% and Patrick with 3.78% while Sam received the highest number of votes with 10.23%.
However, sad as Carol may be with the thought of parting with her housemates, she said she has become a stronger person inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. “Naipakita ko ang pagiging isang tunay na Kristiyano at Iskolar ng Bayan. (I was able to show how being a Christian and an Iskolar ng Bayan was really like)”
