CNN reported today that the eligible bachelor already proposed marriage to Luisiana Lopilato. Oh well.
For starters, Canadian crooner Michael Buble has confirmed via his rep that he has been engaged for two months to his Argentinian actress girlfriend Luisana Loreley Lopilato.According to Buble’s camp, the singer proposed to the South American beauty two months ago in front of her family in Argentina. Soccer moms across America will surely be disappointed.

Top-grossing this weekend’s box office once again and it’s $48.5 million dollar revenue has taken over Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’s spot as number 2 movie of all time. It’s worldwide gross sales is now up to $1.3 billion dollars.
Another $500 million dollars more and it could take Titanic’s place but that is still a long haul to go.

You see, I’ve heard of the Jonas Brothers and I’ve heard how many women fans swoon and scream over them. I thought they were kind of okay, and not really that hot of a group (maybe because I can’t connect to their music), but millions of people find them hot. So, I said – - OKAY?!
But I saw this video of Nick Jonas when he co-hosted Regis and Kelly and I almost died. He’s just so adorable. I mean – he’s composed, very friendly, very warm.. and very cute!! Now, I’m a Nick Jonas fan. I love him now. Don’t get me wrong – I’ve always loved Kelly Ripa.. she’s hilarious… and she’s from New Jersey!!! Woohoo! Watch the videos.

The emotional 911 Call – Brittany Murphy
I have to warn you, this is a very emotional call and heart-wrenching. The 911 operator remained calm and composed all throughout the whole ordeal. TMZ has published the actual realeased 911 call and I listened to it once and couldn’t even continue.
The operator was obviously trying to help calm Britanny Murphy‘s mother by getting her to focus on the CPR until the ambulance got to the house. “Brittany please come back!”, her mother is heard screaming.
Britanny Murphy died on December 20 with cause of death still undetermined.

A heart-melting news about poverty and hunger
I remember when I posted a short film by Ferdinand Dimadura entitled Chicken A La Carte about hunger. That film already brought tears to my eyes. It was to me a mirror of a failed government trying to provide for its people. And it happens every day. 25,000 people die of hunger globally – EVERY DAY.
And then, I see that due to poverty – people have to find a means to earn a living. Earning a living collecting food scraps and re-selling them for human consumption for 50 pesos per box. Then the vendor turns around, re-cooks the scraps and sells them for 10 pesos per meal.
I don’t want to stand on my high horse and say that I will never eat such a thing because I am not in that situation. However, if and when it does happen – I could be one of the folks buying these from the vendors. But what I would do is pick the best candidate for the next Presidential Elections who will vow to make huge changes to eliminate poverty in our country. This is a sad thing to watch.

I don’t know about you but I wasn’t so impressed with the story line of the movie, Legion which comes out in January 22nd. Maybe it’s too far out there to have angels destroy the earth because God is not pleased with his people? Hmmm…
The title is very catchy – I like it and I expected more of a prophetic, kind of end-of-the-world thing going on but it ended up like a Terminator movie. I don’t know, I’m not sure yet if I will watch it. Would you?

What a world we live in. If I have to blog about every text message and email I have received, you will be feasting your eyes on gossips that you probably won’t even have time to read.
But this is the latest chika to the maximum level. During the interview with TV Patrol World, Krista Ranillo was asked about how she’s doing even after the explosive Jinkee Pacquiao revelation on YES Magazine – January Issue.
All she said was, “Blessed.” Any regrets? “None. No, I’m happy, I’m busy.”.
Is it worth it? “Yes, of course. Any blessing from God is worth it. Masaya ang Pasko. Love, Peace and Happiness.” “In time.”
Could it be true? Rumors are that the “blessing” is none other than ….. I’m not even going to say it but could there be truth to it? She is said to be pregnant and that she is planning to deliver the baby in the US. I can’t vouch for this because it’s total hearsay but… Hmmmm… chorva chorva!

Google Announcement: Nexus One Webcast – Is it an iPhone Killer
Everyone wants to find out more about the Nexus One phone, once the Google announcement of the Nexus One Webcast was mentioned, it had everyone scrambling to the Google webcast and Google web store.
The Google Android Nexus One press conference was held on Tuesday morning at the Googleplex in California. I don’t know if I would go with The Nexus One, even though they say that it has an outside designed by HTC and an inside designed by Google. Dubbed as the “super phone” where the web meets cell phone, they said that:
“It’s an exemplar of what mobile phones can do with Android.”
“Nexus One is slim, lightweight with offerings such as a 1Ghz Snapdragon processor, a GPS with Google maps, WiFi, Facebook access, a compass, stereo Bluetooth and more.
The phone is available exclusively at Google web store.
United States customers can purchase it unlocked and without service for $529. Since I have a T-Mobile service – with a new contract, the unlocked Nexus One will cost me $179.
Not sure if it compares enough to an iPhone and I’m not even very fond of the iPhone since I am a Blackberry user. You can check out the video and decide for yourself:
Tila Tequila’s girl friend, Casey Johnson has died.

Socialite Casey Johnson, who was reportedly engaged to Tila Tequila has died in Los Angeles according to TMZ.com. She is the daughter of Jets Owner, Woody Johnson. An heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, Casey Johnson was reportedly engaged to Tila Tequila (known to be bisexual).
TMZ.com reported that Johnson was found dead Monday. Police officers responded to her Los Angeles home around 11:51 a.m. where paramedics had already pronounced Johnson dead, officer Sara Faden said. She was 30 years old.
A long time friend of the Hiltons (Paris and Nicky), Paris responded using Twitter stating:
I feel so sad right now, my heart is in pain. Just lost a longtime friend. My heart goes out to her family. R.I.P. Casey Johnson Love you
