Whoah! How would it feel if you join a dating site only to be voted out because you are a fattie? One dating site did just that, expelling 5,000 people from their website because they have gained “festive pounds”. I guess if a dating site is exclusively filtering out people just because they don’t meet the standards of an elite dating site.
The company, BeautifulPeople.com was started back in 2005 and CNN reports that it’s because members want a “strict ban on ugly people”. Ouch!
It does say that only one in five members get accepted and that if you become a member, you are to maintain a certain standard and looking “chubby” is not one of them.
“Every year we see that some of our members from Western cultures eat and drink to excess over the holidays, and clearly their looks suffer,” he said in a statement. “The U.S.A. has been grossly over-indulging since Thanksgiving. It’s no wonder that so many members have been expelled from the network. We hope they will be back after shedding the festive pounds.”

Wonder Girls’ “Nobody” Tops Billboard Charts of 2009
If you have lived under a rock for a while now, you probably haven’t heard of South Korean Pop Sensation Wonder Girls and their phenomenal hit, “Nobody”. It was such a hit in Asia that they are called Asia’s Pop Sensation.
Well, they hit the US and made their debut last summer by opening up for the Jonas Brothers… hits such as Tell Me, So Hot and Nobody. Nobody was originally recorded in Korean but when it became such a hit, they also recorded the single in English.
The song Nobody topped the Billboard Charts (Billboard.biz – an arm of Billboard.com) as number 1 on their 2009 top year end single sales section.

The song has been so popular that many Youtube Videos have come out and this one I think is the cutest one of all.

This may be the one and only shirtless (semi-nude if you will) photo of Tiger Woods anyone’s going to ever see. Since the scandal that rocked the blogging world last Thanksgiving, rumors have been flying that Tiger Woods has nude photos floating around but has been deterred from being published by his lawyers.
Well, Tiger Woods looks so candidly raw in the photograph taken for Vanity Fair – February 2010 Edition and you could even say that it seems like the photo was a mirror of what was to come in his life.
With dropped sponsorships (from Gillette, to Accenture, to AT&T), and an unknown future with his marriage, Tiger Woods seemed almost mad in this look.
Since he was the most talked about topic (I guess besides Michael Jackson’s death) last year, would you even considering buying a copy of Vanity Fair just because? I mean, we’ve read everything and anything that is to read about Tiger Woods in the last couple of months. Could there be more?

Clever Google Doodle with falling apple to celebrate Isaac Newton’s birthday
Gotta love Google! They raise awareness on things that normally would have been a great fact for us to remember but forget. Today’s Google doodle shows an apple tree branch and then one of the apple falls. Why, because today, January 4th is Isaac Newton’s birthday.
Here are some facts about Isaac Newton (for you people who were absent from class when it was taught! Ha!).
Sir Isaac Newton FRS (4 January 1643 – 31 March 1727 [OS: 25 December 1642 – 20 March 1727]) was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian who is perceived and considered by a substantial number of scholars and the general public as one of the most influential scientists in history. His 1687 publication of the Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (usually called the Principia) is considered to be among the most influential books in the history of science, laying the groundwork for most of classical mechanics. In this work, Newton described universal gravitation and the three laws of motion which dominated the scientific view of the physical universe for the next three centuries. Newton showed that the motions of objects on Earth and of celestial bodies are governed by the same set of natural laws by demonstrating the consistency between Kepler’s laws of planetary motion and his theory of gravitation, thus removing the last doubts about heliocentrism and advancing the scientific revolution.
Newton also built the first practical reflecting telescope and developed a theory of colour based on the observation that a prism decomposes white light into the many colours that form the visible spectrum. He also formulated an empirical law of cooling and studied the speed of sound.

And who said 200 million was too much to produce a movie? Ha! James Cameron will be King of the World once again.

I found this site of cuteness – and I couldn’t help but love the animals posted on this site. But this one was special when I saw it this morning because with all the hatred in the world, and the war, and the gay bashings…. the basic of all basics.. animals even – - know how to love.
The story of the photo is about Bishop and Jones. Jones had to have an emergency surgery so Bishop was left alone at home. Well, Bishop has never been apart from Jones so when Jones came home (with the healing collar) – according to the photo sender, Bishop followed Joes for almost an hour… and then in one moment — gave him this kiss.
There is hope for the world. There is hope in 2010 people!

I swear, TMZ.com gets the juiciest tips of all celebrity gossip websites. They just posted an entry stating that the media is all over the Trump International Hotel in NYC because they believe that Tiger Woods is there.
Hints on why they believe Tiger is there:
- Block of rooms booked under assumed name.
- Replaced hotel security with his own with an entire floor locked down.
Then, TMZ learned the following:
- The gym was locked down between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. for Tiger.
The juiciest part that almost confirms Tiger is there?
- 20 bottles of vodka and 15 cases of Red Bull
and…..
- WOMEN – - including a LEGGY BLONDE!

I don’t know what her deal is or if she just wants to ride Lady Gaga‘s coat tails of success but this Megan Phelps is all over the net right now because of a sign that she made saying “God hates Lady Gaga”. Well, if you don’t know Megan Phelps, she is from Westboro Baptist Church (the one famous for “God hates fags” people)… watch the Youtube Video before you listen to her parodied song of “Pokerface”… with her horrible voice! Yes – God does have a sense of humor. Ha!

Jinkee Pacquiao on Krista Ranillo: ‘I hate her.’
The two women in one of the most sensationalized controversies of 2009 speak up in the January issue of StarStudio Magazine. Jinkee Pacquiao, wife of international boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, and Krista Ranillo, rumored other woman, face off in the special dual issue of StarStudio Magazine. In an exclusive interview, Mrs. Pacquiao confesses why she considers the rumored affair between her husband and Krista the worst controversy that almost pushed her off the edge. “Kasi ‘yung kay Ara Mina at Valerie Concepcion nagtatago sila. Pero itong girl na ito Krista, sa isang interview yata, sabi niya, parang sa Team Pacquiao kasama siya, part siya ng entourage. Nakikita sila magkasama sa States o sa Baguio. Glee Lovers – - this is a show for you!
I have always loved Glee Clubs. I remember getting excited over our school’s “Christmas Chorale Concert” every year as our school invites 10 other Catholic School Glee Clubs to perform during our nine-evening event.
I was excited as well to find out that MTV has a new show, which airs today at 3:00 p.m. – The story focuses on Central Sound – A Show Choir in Indiana.. and they are amazing. Watch the video below as they sing Paparazzi by Lady Gaga.. I love it!
One Life to Live “first gay male romance scene shown on screen in daytime”
It’s out. Gays are here to stay and no level of censorship can wipe out a group – a living, breathing group of humans on the phase of the earth. We’ve always been here and we are here to stay. We are simply becoming more and more visible because we are a part of the society.
Guess what? Scott Evans (Fish) and Brett Claywell (Kyle) (gay characters on famous soap opera “One Life To Live”) have shown their love for each other on daytime TV. ABC has given the liberty to these characters to demonstrate their love for each other.

Scandals that rocked our world in 2009…
Whether we admit it or not, we are all transfixed when scandals hit our screens or magazines. We are voyeuristic in nature, wanting to find out what others are doing. We scoff, we praise, we love knowing that other people are not totally different from who we are. They are normal people yet magnified under the scrutiny of the cameras.
Tiger Woods, David Letterman, Frank Sanford and many others. Showbiz, Sports and Politics were not immune to the criticism of many. 2009 was no different. CNN.com have put together a brief video highlighting the scandals of last year. (Be glad, the Manny Pacquiao – Krista Ranillo and Jinkee Pacquiao Scandal and the Hayden Kho – Katrina Halili Video Scandal weren’t included… haha!)

Gotta love her. Her interruptions, her questions and just being crazy and stupid. Kathy Griffin hosted New Year’s Eve with Anderson Cooper on CNN and when they were going through the highlights of the events that happened in 2009, Anderson Cooper shows a photo of Richard Heene… the father of the balloon boy who cooked up the whole hoax thingy.

AT&T Drops Tiger Woods… Wow.

What a way to welcome 2010 for Tiger Woods. AT&T, the official sponsor of the Annual PGA Tournament, where its logo is displayed on the side of Tiger Woods’ golf bag – has decided to follow Accenture and Gillette in distancing their brand from the embattled golfer.
There were no reasons provided according to the report.
Rosie O’ Donnell welcomes 2010 with a new love.

Although she said “we’re working out issues” on an interview before, Rosie O’ Donnell and ex-wife Kelli Carpenter have really broken up. It was revealed later that Kelli has already moved out of their home two years prior according to E-Online.
Most recently however, Rosie has been spotted and photographed in Miami with another woman other than her wife. The new love’s name is Tracy Kachtick-Anders, an artist and an activist.
At least someone welcomed 2010 with a new love… ha!

A year in review – bye 2009… by Jib Jab.
2009 was not the easiest year for all of us. It was a year filled with mixed emotions as we suffered through the ups and downs in the economy, controversies and most notable celebrity passing.
