Shamu – Killer Whale attacked and killed trainer (VIDEO)
chuvachienes on News
What an unfortunate event. The Orlando Sentinel reported today that a female trainer, Dawn Branchaeau (pictured above) was killed by one of the show’s killer whale (Tilikum) by dragging her underwater until she drowned.
The occurrence was witnessed by spectators including children. It’s an awful day.
Has anything – or will anything change in Philippine politics? Bong Revilla Youtube Scandal
I have seen this posted on Facebook probably four times today. I listened to it and I couldn’t believe it. Whether this is true or not, it’s something to be concerned about. The voice sounds so much like Bong Revilla‘s voice and I am unsure who’s behind the persona who uploaded it on Youtube but this is BIG.
Are the threats for real? Blatant cheating still around? And the cops? “Sa ‘ten ang pulis!” ?? What the heck is going on? Listen in and find out. Is this a credible recording? You decide.
Coin Toss – Vegas or Atlantic City?
I take a trip to Atlantic City maybe once a month two years ago. It is a stress-reliever for me and a lot of fun with friends as well. We go there to play, have a few drinks and maybe go to a club or whatever. We’re not high-rollers by any means, we simply like playing slots. The slot machines nowadays are interactive at best. I like being surprised with bonuses. With the amount of money that I play in slots, some people tell me I’d be better off playing the table. However, I don’t enjoy the table that much. It seems to take forever. You win once, lose twice, win again… you’re just even. With slots, you can have a big win unexpectedly.
I miss goinng to AC. Right after the economic meltdown, I stopped going because I was trying to keep my cash like the rest of the world was doing. There are good signs now that the economy is improving and I do miss my games. An alternative for me is by going online and playing the slots. Most of the sites give you bonuses that are good to start with. You can go online and look up slot machine rvm to find the best sites where you can play. It gives you details about the amount of bonus they provide, the level of payout, and a download of the software for free in case you want to play in paper only. I normally go with sites that have great ratings when it comes to support and reviews. You have to be careful because if you just go on any site without any ratings and such, you may end up on the losing end and even if you win, you don’t know how and when you are going to get paid.
I’m actually planning a trip to Atlantic City or Vegas in March. Until then, I can play online and be pacified.
The Wedding and the wonders of GPS Tracking
I went to my niece’s wedding back in December. They are a young couple so they really wanted to have a grand wedding but not spend a lot of cash. They booked the reception at this out-of-nowhere site in Central New Jersey and the Church was foty-five minutes away. Could you imagine the trip that the guests had to jump through to get from one place to another? And to top it off, the discounted hotel was located thirty minutes from the reception hall! After the wedding, we went to the reception hall and the groom and the bride were an hour late! We didn’t know where they were. It would have been great if the limousine service offered a GPS Tracking device option that would have let us know where they were.
I remember when I got to the reception hall, many people were so agravated because they didn’t have GPS Tracking to start wit. And with the distances and locations of the places in this tiny little remote town in New Jersey and hungry passengers in the car, it was enough to cause havoc.
And when the groom and the bride didn’t show up – we were wondering where they were and the limousine service couldn’t tell us. I know that GPS tracking devices are used in delivery trucks so you can tell exactly where you package is. Wouldn’t it have been great if limousine services offered the same thing?
When the groom and the bride finally showed up, everyone cheered. Apparently, they got lost too! Hahaha! It was an experience in itself. At least it happened only during the reception. I wonder if it happened before the wedding and the bride didn’t show up until an hour later…that would have been crazy!
I just wished the available technology was used more wisely – - one would think. An unforgettable wedding indeed.
If you’re thinking of opening a home based business, reduce your start-up costs.
You may not have known this but aside from bloggging, I also run a home business of my own. I started it about three years ago and so far, it has flourished. I have a lot of loyal customers now and although it is stil small, I manage to earn extra income from it. I normally use the extra income I receive from my home business to travel. I love traveling and my regular readers know that.
One thing I try to keep a good control of is expenses. The less expense I have, the more profit I get. Basic business practice right? A lot of small businesses don’t understand though that there are many ways to cut costs when you have a home bueiness. My largest expense before was the telephone charges. I am constantly on the phone with vendors and customers and before I knew it, there are times my phone bill will eat up almost all of my profits so I learned pretty quickly. Replacing your current telephone services with small business voip can save you a whole lot of cash. It can be set up pretty quickly, and it is scalable. Reduce your start-up costs by replacing the traditional telephone services using high quality Voip (Voice Over IP) services and see the difference.
Home business. A sure way to extra income.
Chuva Chienes is back on Ebay again. During this time of need where cash is tight, we need to think of innovative ideas to make extra income. Extra income in any way is always a plus. Positive cashflow is one thing that I’ve been taught to always have and I never want to be in a position to be on the negative.
I ship items everyday and a great way that I found to ship items is to use the label printer from Paypal. It saves me a lot of hassle in mailing my items. It beats falling in line at the post office during rush hour in the morning or the busiest time, which is lunch time. The only thing about printing your own labels is that it can be costly. should you decide to start an ebay business, I would still recommend that you print your own labels. Ink Cartridges may be purchased online as opposed to buying them at a regular office supplies store. It’s cheaper, more convenient and saves you a lot of time.
I will be listing a lot of items and I will post them here. I have a lot of collectible items I am going to sell before spring time so keep an eye out for it.
Kirk Cameron is praying for his co-star Andrew Koenig
The popular 80s TV show Growing Pains star Mike Seaver (Kirk Cameron) is concerned for his co-star Andrew “Boner” Koenig who went missing after his trip to Vancouver and expected to have returned to the US on February 14th. Reports say that Andrew had signs of depression.
Kirk Cameron (now a Christian Evangelist) says that he is praying for Andrew and urged him to get in touch.
“I am praying for his family during this time of distress and for his safe return,” Cameron said in a statement. “Andrew, if you’re reading this, please call me. Mike and Boner could always work things out when they put their minds to it. I’m praying for you, pal. Hope to hear from you soon”

Hope for the future – Hudson Taylor – a straight wrestler supports gay rights?
I have a lot of straight friends. You wouldn’t even think any one of them cared about gay rights if you happen to meet them for the first time. They look normal straight guys and some are even so straight, they look intimidating. But once you get to know them, they are the most compassionate, most-loving individuals you could ever meet.
Of course there are the homophobes and the gay bashers but as the years go by, the younger generation are becoming more and more accepting. One example is the (yes, hot photo above) 23-year old wrestler from University of Maryland, Hudson Taylor. He recently proposed to his girlfriend (they both support LGBT rights) and the progressive couple are willing to go out there and be the straight images for us. He even wore the HRC logo to some of his matches. Imagine that!
Chuvahotness # 26 – Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka
Jake Pavelka, the 32-year old hunk from The Bachelor is way too hot. Being a pilot adds to the awesomeness of this gorgeous Texan. He is form Denton, TX. Did you know that in 9th grade, he used to be called “Mr. Dateless”? The most important thing in the world to him is to find a wife.
Wow! If that is the most important thing for him, I don’t stand a chance. How could that be the most important thing in the world for someone? I guess, to each his own.
One thing I must say though, the guy is HOT HOT HOT! Have you seen any of the episodes? I have not but the screen caps do make up for it.
Here’s our Chuvahotness #26 – Mr. Jake Pavelka. Enjoy!
Diva Whitney Houston disappoints concert goers in Australia
I don’t know what Clive Davis is thinking now. When he expected Whitney Houston’s big comeback, he didn’t expect this. The man has given diva Whitney Houston a second chance to revive her career and it doesn’t look like it’s working.
First, Whitney gets an attitude at the airport – then she underperforms at her concert singing off-key and “taking too many breaks between songs”. Fans of the diva walked out on her and some of them actually want their money back.
Get more value out of your Tweets…
Don’t know about you – - but making money online is one of my goals when I started blogging. 2007 was a great year for me. 2008, not so much because of the economic downturn. Advertisers stopped paying top dollars and paid posts wasn’t as lucrative as it was before.
If you log into any of the paid posts companies, you will find offers that are laughable at times. I mean, $.50 cents for 300 words. Come on? Will you write a post about a product for fifty cents with 300 words? There was a time that I did it – - until… Sponsored Tweets came.
I have constantly been receiving offers from Sponsored Tweets and you write 140 characters or less and earn $1.13. Take a look at the snapshot above… those are money earned using Sponsored Tweets. There are a few rules before you can join but it’s fairly simple.
Your Twitter account must be at least 60 days old, have at least 100 followers and 100 status updates to be visible in searches to advertisers. However, advertisers can still explicitly make you offers.

Vice Ganda Tough Ten on The BUZZ (VIDEO)
One of the hottest comedians in the Philippines right now is Vice Ganda. I cannot stop watching him on Youtube and I hope he can make his way to New York or New Jersey so I can watch him in person. Hoping to meet him too – - wish ko lang..hahaha! I love him.
Watch him on Tough Ten as he appeared on The Buzz on Sunday, February 21st. He is so real. It was so touching when he was asked about his mom when his tears fell and spoke from the heart.
Watch the videos below. Thanks to thisispinoyworld and waruyne for the video uploads.
Lionsgate wins the bidding war for new Taylor Lautner movie – Abduction
I heard rumors that Lionsgate won the bidding war for yet again, another Taylor Lautner-attached movie. The role is a challenging one for Taylor since it is going to be a story about a teenager named Nathan who found his childhood photo on a missing persons website. Realizing that he was abducted by his so-called parents, he must escape and go on the run. It will be an action film, one that Taylor is excellent in doing.
The price for the script wasn’t disclosed but hearsay amounts come up with nearly $1 million dollars for the project alone. It’s simply good news for our “now-adult” Taylor Lautner. More power and I’m sure he’s going to be great at it.
See photos our Taylor Lautner after his workout at a gym in Los Angeles below. OMG, sometimes there’s a reason why I love soft shorts and a windy day..hahaha!

The video of his move the McTwist 1260 has become viral. Here’s the video:

Racy Scotty Lago Picture Controversy
When TMZ published a photo of Olympian Scotty Lago, I didn’t really pay much attention to it. It was cute and it looks like a guy was having fun and simply unwinding probably from the pressures of winning at the Vancouver Wiinter Olympics.
He won a bronze medal for men’s halfpipe snowboarding competition but has gotten more attention when the photo of a girl with a suggestive sexual act showing Scotty with his shirt lifted up and the bronze medal on his waist appeared on TMZ.com.
Dancing Lolas on Pilipinas Got Talent – Bravo!
I cannot get over this. Thanks to Chuvaness for sharing this on Facebook, I just had to post it.
You see, age is not about numbers really. There are no words to express the joy in these grandmas’ faces when they got in with triple yes from the judges of Pilipinas Got Talent. In a country where respect for elders is very much alive, I kind of missed my own lola a little bit from watching this. She had the same joy and energy for life. Kris Aquino and Ai Ai delas Alas obviously enjoyed the performance of Oldies & Goodies Grandmas and so did Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford.
Watch the vid – - it’s truly fun.
Gotta love it!! Christian and Oliver or Verbotene Liebe “Forbidden Love” on Youtube
If you haven’t heard of it already or this is the first time that you will encounter this German soap opera entitled, “Verbotene Liebe ” (Forbidden Love) – I must warn you! This soap opera is very addictive. It is about the lives and loves of both young and older characters, focused on the two major German cities of Cologne and Düsseldorf. Currently the focus is on the aristocratic Von Lahnstein family and the middle-class Brandner family. The show is also well known for its LGBT characters, presenting bisexuality and homosexuality as equal to the heterosexual relationships in the show. It has become popular with gay and lesbian audiences in Europe and in the United States.
If you want to watch it from the beginning, you will be glad to know that someone has created a playlist where you can start with Part 1 and move on to the next until the end – WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES!. Just so you know – - and so you can get addicted with me, this is Christian.
And this is Oliver.
Now, click on the link, sit back and watch the whole thing. Christian and Oliver Playlist from beginning to end. If you want to see photos of the cast, including Oliver – - – here’s a fun and great photo gallery. And if you don’t like sub-titles – there’s great news. Because of its Youtube success and following, HBO is set to adapt the story story line for the US Market. But until then, enjoy!
Are we ever going to get back the Whitney Houston we once knew?

Jeezawhiz! Howcome she can’t just do a clean comeback without causing a stir? Remember the sweet Whitney Houston pre-Bobby Brown? She used to be sweet, chose her words well and simply amazing.
After the “Crack is whack!” interview, she was never the same. I remember watching her on Oprah post-Bobby Brown and her linggo had remained ghetto-”ish” if you ask me.
Have you been watching the Winter Olympics? Two words: Bode Miller

I have missed a lot on the Vancouver Winter Olympics. I got rid of my cable last year and along with it went my basic subscription. I rarely watch TV so I thought, “What the heck? – I’ll just watch everything online.” And I have been. Most of my TV shows have full episodes online so it’s not all that bad.
However, I was bummed when the Winter Olympics started. I really haven’t watched any of it until last night when we were are a dueling piano bar in Philadelphia. Someone caught my eye – the apline skier Bode Miller!
Have you seen this guy? He’s hot and he’s an awesome skier. The 32-year old skier was known for being a “bad boy” – giving the finger on photographs and always photographed drinking. He gained fame and recognition during the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002 for winning two silver medals. For the Vancouver Winter Olympics, he has already won bronze and silver medals… a redemptive action towards his 2006 Turin Olympics downfall. He didn’t focus, drank and partied a lot then.
How did he bounce back? Watch the video below and find out how he trained. It included a naked sprinting exercise on the streets of New York, jumping rope with his skis on and waxing hair out of his trainer’s back. Yes, you will see him nude and shirtless.
Ashton Kutcher goes for battle of the shirtless in Killers
They got you! With Taylor Lautner‘s unbelievable success following his shirtless scenes as a werewolf in Twilight’s New Moon – the trend of shirtless men in movies has become more and more popular.
Ashton Kutcher appears shirtless multiple times in his new action comedy film with Katherine Heigl. No wonder Demi Moore is keeping up with him. As a model for Abercrombie & Fitch when he was younger, Ashton knows how to keep fit and maintain his physique. Take a look at the trailer of his new film.
Prince William – - going sexy for the homeless
Alright, I know that we have focused on Prince Harry for the longest time. He is, after all – a real hottie. But don’t forget that there is the other heir to the throne whom we have been neglecting all this time. Prince William.
Although he is more reserved and subdued than his sibling counterpart, Prince William is as sexy too don’t you agree?
