Former President Bill Clinton Hospitalized

What’s with the news lately. First it was Alec Baldwin, then it was designer Alexander McQueen and now former President Bill Clinton hospitalized due to chest pains.
Former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized today after complaining of chest pains. He was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, the same hospital who provided his bypass surgery back in 2004.
According to the ex-President’s couselor, two stents were implanted today:
Today President Bill Clinton was admitted to the Columbia Campus of New York Presbyterian Hospital after feeling discomfort in his chest.
Following a visit to his cardiologist, he underwent a procedure to place two stents in one of his coronary arteries. President Clinton is in good spirits, and will continue to focus on the work of his Foundation and Haiti’s relief and long-term recovery efforts.
In 2004, President Clinton underwent a successful quadruple bypass operation to free four blocked arteries.
A stent is a wire metal mesh tube used to prop open an artery during angioplasty – a procedure where a cardiologist re-opens a blocked artery to restore blood flow to the heart.Angioplasty is also called percutaneous coronary intervention, or PCI.
Reports have now come out that the President is in good spirits after the surgery. Get well soon Bill!
A tragic end: Designer Alexander McQueen commits suicide
The Daily Mail UK reports that Designer Alexander McQueen has taken his own life.
A sad day.
“The 40-year-old committed suicide just days after the death of his beloved mother, Joyce, last Tuesday.
It is also just three years since his close friend, Isabella Blow – who plucked him from obscurity and helped him become a star – killed herself.
McQueen, who was christened Lee but used his middle name for his label, was found at his luxury flat in Mayfair, central London. It is believed he hanged himself.
Police were called to the property at 10.20am this morning after he was found dead. A private ambulance arrived to take away his body at 4.30pm.
One of his lines, McQ, was due to be shown at New York Fashion Week this afternoon and has now been cancelled.”
Brachydactyly – a condition only Megan Fox could make well known
I can’t even spell it, let alone pronounce it.
Brachydactyly, a condition known as having a clubbed thumb is something that we probably haven’t heard of. That was not until sexy Transformers star Megan Fox appeared on a Motorola commercial during the game between the Colts and the Saints during last weekend’s Super Bowl that the condition came to light. It wasn’t her body dipped in bubble in a bathtub or her flawless face that got the attention. It was the condition that the actress suffers from that got highlighted.
Megan Fox suffers from the and is said to be quite conscious about the hereditary condition. It is a condition where the thumb is very short and the fingernails are very wide. It is said that the commercial used a hand-double to show Megan Fox browsing her phone.

Alec Baldwin Hospitalized briefly over concerns of taking pills
The “30 Rock” star, Alec Baldwin was hospitalized after his daugher Ireland, (from ex-wife Kim Bassinger) called 911 concerned that the actor was being unresponsive. According to an unidentified (for anonymity) law enforcement official as communicated to the Associated Press, 14-year old Ireland had been arguing with his dad and that “he threatened to take pills”.
The actor was taken to Lennox Hill Hospital in New York City but was released an hour later. A spokesman for the actor said that the actor is fine and is at work today.
If you remember, a controversial taped conversation between Alec Baldwin and his daughter Ireland surfaced last year when the actor was heard screaming “rude, thoughtless little pig” to his daughter. He later apologized.

Last night, Lady Gaga attended the amfAR Charity gala co-sponsored by M.A.C. Cosmetics Viva Glam with Cindy Lauper with pearls glued to her face. She was there to help kick off Fashion Week 2010. I read from Bryanboy’s blog that he’s in New York as well. Lucky guy!

Kevin Federline (K-Fed) decided to do something about his weight. We all have seen him baloon from a nice sexy bod to a 232 pound gorilla. He lead a very unhealthy lifestyle, caught on cam most of the time smoking and really doing nothing to hit it.
Not anymore! Last night, K-Fed stripped down to his camouflage underwear to show all of his 232 pound physique. He is determined to lose some 30 pounds (and hopefully get a movie deal in the process) through VH1′s reality show “Celebrity Fit Club“.

Did you watch The Ellen Degeneres Show when Channing Tatum was a guest the other day? Ellen brought up the question to talk about Channing’s past as a stripper for a male review called “Male Encounter“. Channing said that he’s “neither proud of it, or ashamed of it”. He said that he held all sorts of odd jobs including the “annoying guy” that follows you around the mall trying to sell you perfume. He concluded that being a stripper paid the most from all the odd jobs he had.
Then Ellen said, “Show us what you did.” Without hesitation Channing Tatum gave Ellen a lap dance on the house!!! He is so sexy.

Our Taylor Lautner turns legal tomorrow, February 11th when the hunky werewolf turns 18 years of age. He said that he has no major plans for a bash and likes quite time with family and friends.

When asked what his plans are for the BIG (One/Eight) 18, Showbiz Spy reports him responding:

Listen to this sh*t! I never knew and omg!!! I really didn’t know. But I bet most of you knew! This is coming to light for me right now because John Mayer is under fire again after his Playboy interview. But that’s beside the point.
John Mayer “kissed and tongued” Perez Hilton? Wow! And he admits to it. He’s like – “You’re damn right I made out with him,” Mayer told a crowd in April. “I was thinking about going gay!”

I know that he can be a d**khead and would say things that are really offensive (like his recent interview with Playboy and how he dropped the N word and also dropped the F** bomb on the famous Perez Hilton kiss) but in his interview with Rolling Stone, he tells of a New Year’s Eve 2007 story where he planted a kiss on Perez Hilton. One weird story, but hey – that’s what life is about right?
I was blog hopping this afternoon. The snow-covered streets and sleet-laden sidewalks weren’t enough for my workplace to shut down. We are “required” to work from home.
Heck, if I’m going to work from home on a snow day, I might as well blog hop.
I came across this weird story. Many of us would probably cringe at the very moment you read the phrase, “boyfriend’s toilet bowl with his own toothbrush, …..!” but I won’t judge. The story is not even about the toothbrush, rather it is a story about relationships. I would leave it up to you to figure out the read the rest of the story…. someone needs an advice – STAT!

GMANews.TV reported that Ara Mina has filed for council seat in Quezon City back in November of 2009. Imagine your next councilor as pictured above. Hmmmm.
What cracked me up was the interview that Mo Twister gave our lovely candidate and her response to the questions.

I wish it was just too much powder on the neck but it’s blatantly obvious that our hunky cuteness, Bradley Cooper had a tanning disaster. Either he used a bronzing moisturizer and forgot to spread it around or he fell asleep on a tanning bed with a towel around his neck. He was at the Valentine’s Day premiere.
He’s still cute though.. I don’t care if he’s half naked baked or not, he’s still awesome.

Non-essential employees of the U.S. Federal Government will not be required to report for work again on Wednesday as another snow storm pounds the Washington, DC, DelMarVa including Philadelphia, PA and parts or South Jersey.
According to http://opm.gov’s website, anther excused absence will be given to non-essential employees.
* Federal agencies in the Washington, DC, area are closed. Nonemergency employees (including employees on pre-approved leave) will be granted excused absence for the number of hours they were scheduled to work. This does not apply to employees on leave without pay, leave without pay for military duty, workers’ compensation, suspension, or in another nonpay status.
* Telework employees may be expected to work from their telework sites, as specified in their telework agreements.
* Emergency employees are expected to report for work on time.
* Employees on alternative work schedules are not entitled to another AWS day off in lieu of the workday on which the agency is closed.
I really should work for the government. Did you know what my workplace told us?

Last time it snowed (over the weekend), I locked myself up in my room and watched DVDs with a bottle of wine, only taking breaks when nature called or when I was hungry.
I wish I had rented scary movies this time since another storm is raging (started snowing about half an hour ago), more than likely we’ll get another 18 inches of snow. I still have to work from home, which sucks.

It must be hard to live a life of a celebrity. I’d be freaking scared to death of paparazzis hovering over wherever I am. Hiding in the bushes, skimming through my trash.. I’ll go crazy!

There are also news about Keira Knightly being stalked (at one point she had a total number of five stalkers before this one!~).
I will never survive being a celebrity. I’d drink myself to death. Oh – - I’m already doing that. Okay, I’ll never be caught outside on my cell phone with my hands down my pants.

‘Dear John’ Ends ‘Avatar’ Winning Streak – Imagine That?

And there it goes. Avatar lost its winning streak to Channing Tatum’s Dear John this weekend
. Quite a feat if you ask me but Avatar had its peak and it was probably on the tail end anyway. Even so, Avatar still took in $23.6 Million this weekend. While Dear John took in $32.4 Million topping this weekend’s box office.
Glad to say I was one of the people who paid my $9.75 movie ticket this weekend to propel Dear John to a box-office smash.

Apparently I wasn’t the only one who didn’t know that Simon Cowell is a song writer as well. Did you know that he co-wrote a song by Leona Lewis entitled “Footprints in the Sand“?
Ha! Well, Victoria Beckham couldn’t get over it and she kept asking Simon and “embarrassing him” if that was the only song he wrote.
Jessica Furney did a good interpretation though and second time in American Idol auditions. She got in.

Whoah whoah!! Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell on “American Idol”?
No way although it would be great TV should American Idol replace Simon Cowell with Howard Stern. A lot of fans will probably be turned off should this happen but hey, ratings and great TV is what it is right?
The New York Post reports that Howard Stern’s $100 Million dollar a year contract with Sirius Satellite Radio is about to expire and is looking for new opportunities. Simon Cowell got paid $50 Million dollars per year.
Just imagine Ellen Degeneres and Howard Stern… it’ll be hilarious. We will probably have a couple of walk-out scenes by Ellen. Hey, it is fun to dream.

Super Bowl 2010 Kickoff (Start) Time
The kickoff time for the 2010 Super Bowl game, which sees the Indianapolis Colts pitted up against the New Orleans Saints, the Super Bowl XLIV will start at around 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Most probably the event will start at around 6:30 PM ET. In some countries or territories, here are the Super Bowl 2010 Time in different time zones: 5:30 PM Central, 4:30 PM Mountain and 3:30 PM Pacific.
On TV, football fans wordlwide will tune into the battle over the coveted Vince Lombardi trophy — and to decide which team gets to wear their Super Bowl rings — as it played out live nationwide beginning at 6 pm ET on the CBS television network.
Kick-off time will approximately 6:28 pm on the East Coast; 5:28 pm Central; 4:28 pm Mountain; and 3:28 pm Pacific.
Meanwhile, the Colts are excellent and had to stage a comeback behind their All-Pro QB, Peyton Manning, to defeat the New York Jets in the AFC Championship. Now former Superbowl winner and league MVP, Peyton Manning would compete against opposing QB Drew Brees for football supremacy. The game is getting thrilling as the super bowl kickoff time is nearing.

Now, it was recently announced that he is also going to play Stretch Armstrong after being tapped by Universal Studios for the scheduled 3D release of the film in 2012.
