Would Sarah Palin’s Alaska Reality TV Make or Break Sarah Palin?
Washington Post had an article about Sarah Palin’s possible entry into the Reality TV world. It’s a great concept on how to shed light on our 49th state and showcasing the wonders and beauty of Alaska. However, would this show be a platform for Sarah Palin to keep her poised for a possible Presidential bid in 2012? Maybe. Maybe not. Would it make or break her? Maybe. Maybe not.
Sarah Palin has come under fire from her immediate comment on Twitter and Facebook soon after the passage of the healthcare reform bill and posting a graphic of the United States with cross hairs (see definition here) showing the states that are targeted for the Congress officials who voted YES for healthcare reform.
Why? Because such rhetoric used by the former Governor seemed to incite violence. Cross-hairs? Targeted states?
Within the past 72 hours after the bill was signed into law, several Democrats in Congress have been received death threats or worst, their office vandalized with broken windows and doors.
The question is: Is this the right time to use words such as the one she used on twitter saying, “Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: “Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!” Pls see my Facebook page.”
Then on her Facebook Page, you see a map of the United States showing targeted states with cross hairs. What does that exactly mean? I’m sure she never intended to incite violence but with the current temperature over the health care reform bill – was she being careless?
