Well, I think Balian Buschbaum fits the bill and he’s got all the qualities to be considered for our Chuvahotness series.

The only difference is – - she he used to be female. Can you even believe it by looking at the photo above? If I see him on the street and not knowing he used to be female, I would definitely gaze at him without question.

It was on top of the list today when I checked my MyBlogLog hot items. It’s the story about a student at University of Hawai’i-Manoa who has been “doing the deed” at many different places within the University that the school administration had to put out a warning to students about bodily fluids being left in and around the classrooms and other locations in the University.

I used to hate going to Pride Festivals.  It seemed too much for me to handle.  I have lived in Baltimore, New York, and Los Angeles which are great cities to hold Pride Festivals.

However, since I’ve lived in Pennsylvania and New jersey, I have met friends who actually made it fun for me to attend these events.

Kathy Griffin is on your side when it comes to “Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell”

CNN.com reports that Kathy Griffin is organizing a rally in Washington, D.C. to assist in repealing the “antiquated policy of don’t ask, don’t tell” on March 18th at Freedom Plaza.

Kathy Griffin is very popular among gay men (a gay icon suits her) and she has been very supportive of the LGBT community since day one. I love her to death! I think she’s hilarious and for her to be on our side for causes as important as repealing the “Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell” policy, made me like her even more. It has been reported as well that she will be meeting with several legislators in Washington to discuss the issue.

She was quoted as saying, “After traveling to Iraq and Afghanistan to perform for the troops and visiting with injured vets and their families at Walter Reed, I’ve gotten to meet and know many gay members of our brave military, their stories are heartbreaking, touching, and need to be heard.”

Sometimes, there are things you just can’t take inside a museum.

This is not a joke. A man entered a museum (named as artist David Livingston) carrying what looked like a huge pink male genitalia. He was gently escorted out.

The man is an artist and he said that he’s very much interested in the reactions that he receives while carrying this huge piece of a replica made out of pink felt and stuffed with sofa upholstery. He’s been walking around with this thing all over New York.

I was at a friend’s house two weekends ago and it happened to be a boring night so he asked me if I have seen Glee yet. He said that his boyfriend just got the first season DVD and asked if I would like to see it.

I was like… hmmm – I guess?

So, we started the first disc. At that very moment, I was hooked. Specially the guy who plays the jock Corey Monteith. I was instantly in love.

Well, rumors has it from E! that there will be surprise couplings in the next season. Who would it be? If you haven’t seen the first season – I am telling you – - go to the nearest video store and get caught up. It’s more addicting than … … sex? Ha!

The recent controversies surrounding Kris Aquino’s attitude on the set of The Buzz and the confirmed allegations from Ruffa Gutierrez that Kris Aquino has repeatedly shamed her in the past during the show may be something that is causing a little more than Kris would like it to be.

Of course, being a controversial character always adds to the intrigue and popularity of a show – - – and that is all well and good, unless your brother is running for the highest office in the land.  Noynoy Aquino is the leading candidate for the upcoming elections in May of 2010.  As you can see on the sidebar, the poll gives Ninoy a 49% rating.

Jessica Simpson on “The Price of Beauty” airs tonight on VH1 at 10:00 p.m.

Remember when Jessica Simpson went through the horrible criticism when she gained 8 or so pounds and wore the now infamous “grandma jeans”?

Well, she has a new show called “The Price of Beauty” airing on VH1 tonight and was able to see the beauty of women in a different light. She visits Thailand and sees women who bleached their skin and probably couldn’t grasp the concept on why Asian women are fixated on obtaining that whiter and gentler skin.

How much did Manny Pacquiao earn for beating Joshua Clottey?

That is probably the most numbing question today after the weekend fight between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey.  Manny Pacquiao is now hailed as the BEST BOXER IN THE WORLD after that uneventful fight (for the side of Clottey at least) beating Clottey on every round – pound for pound.

I read somewhere today that Manny Pacquiao could earn as much as $17 -20 million for the fight (and I’m not certain if that includes all the PPV – Pay per View) proceeds.   Couple that with the endorsement from Nike and other big companies who’s going hankering for Manny’s endorsement, we may just be waiting for Manny to make it to the Forbes list of richest people – maybe.

Keep in mind that Clottey, a native of Ghana whose record dropped to 35-4, was the bigger, stronger fighter. But he never tried to drop the hammer against Pacquiao, a buzz saw who was too quick and too smart. Pacquiao, son of the Philippines, is considered the best boxer in the world. He will earn somewhere between $17 million and $20 million for pounding Clottey en route to improving his record to 51-3-2.

Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes Separates

One thing I don’t understand about show business is that these people are “beautiful people” and relationships are just as brief as their rise to stardom and as swift as when they fade away.

Kate Winslet is a beautiful woman don’t you agree?  There are many regular guys out there that would die to be with her.  Yet, she married Sam Mendes back in 2003 and seven years later, they have decided to separate.  How sad but if the shoe won’t fit….

According to TMZ.com,

The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.

Hunky Mario Lopez is going to be a dad… Awwww..

Although I am sad that one of my hunky future boyfriends is now officially off limits (ha!) broadway actor, dancer and television host Mario Lopez and his girlfriend, Broadway dancer Courtney Mazza, are going to be parents according to People.com

Lopez is the host of “Extra” and “America’s Best Dance Crew” but he has also hosted countless beauty pageants as well. He started out as the heartthrob A.C. Slater on classic early 90s television show “Saved By the Bell” and he also did that unforgettable shower scene on Nip / Tuck.

The pair met while both were performing in the recent Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. Mazza’s broadway credits include “The Little Mermaid” and “Cry Baby”.

Even though he’s not “officially” off the market (since they are not married yet), I don’t think I will pursue him any longer since I don’t know if I could raise a baby right. Hahaha!

‘Alice in Wonderland’ holds top spot at box office

I guess Tim Burton has done it again.  Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp remained on top over the weekend gaining another $62 Million in sales, totaling now to $208 million dollars.  The 10-day total has topped his “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” as his highest grossing film.

I thought Green Zone was going to do better than it did.  Matt Damon, known very much and very much loved in the Bourne series is the perfect man for the role.  The question is, would the viewers still connect to “Iraq war” dramas.  It was reported that the movie cost $100 million to produce but opened with a week $14.5 million.

Remember Me with Robert Pattinson did fairly well.  It took in $8.2 million and although that isn’t much – the movie didn’t cost $100 million to produce.

Well, Avatar is still taking cash in even through the end of its box office run – totaling $730 million in domestic sales.  WOW!

Chuva’s review of the Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey fight

Did you watch the fight last night? I know you are probably finding it weird that Chuva watched a boxing match. Don’t be. If the Philippines is involved – I’m there!

I think Manny Pacquiao did what any world champion would do. He didn’t let go. He was strong ’till the end. Did you see him throw over 1100 punches throughout the match? Ha! The only thing that kept Clottey up until the 12th round was because he was too scared to open up and fight. He hid behind his gloves from Round 1 to Round 12! If I paid to watch a fight, I wanted to see a fight – not one man fighting.
