I am live blogging right now watching “Who Do You Think You Are?” – a show on NBC that features finding the genealogical histories of celebrities. I remember watching them trace Susan Sarandon‘s ancestry last week and it was the most interesting thing I have ever seen. I was glued on TV during the entire show.
Imagine finding out exactly where you came from and learning about what your ancestors did during their time. With Susan Sarandon, she found out that she came from Tuscany, Italy. Many interesting finds about her ancestors.
Why I love Brazil. And why I’m going back next month! Ha!
Friends of mine are probably ready to kill me because I can’t shut up about Brazil. Not only does Brazil have a great opportunity- investment-wise – but it is also a great country to visit.
Last year, I went and it was the most pleasant surprise I got. I met so many people who are both hospitable and beautiful – inside and out. The only thing I knew about Brazil before was that they have the strictest Customs Officials in the world. If you ship something to Brazil, more than likely if you’re documentation is not proper that you will be fined. That was all I knew.

Looking for a movie to watch tonight? Well, let me tell you – I have not gotten tired of Freddy Krueger just yet. I think I’m going to see “Nightmare on Elm Street” tonight. The weather is great on the east coast today (supposed to go up to the 80s) and the weekend will be fabulous as well!
So, if you’re up to it.. it’ll be a good pre-requisite to a fantastic weekend. I love horror movies to begin with…

On qualities needed for a long-term relationship: “Unconditional love and patience. A lot of times, people are in a relationship with someone they’d love to grow old with, but things become tumultuous, and there’s so much that can divide you. That’s the challenge. I got married [to Reese Witherspoon] when I was 23; I’m 35 now [and divorced]. A lot of change can take place in that time. And actors are slightly handicapped by their lifestyle: Couples spend time apart and with other people, and we deal with public scrutiny. It’s hard.”
I am funny! I like making people laugh and I have unconditional love… so do you think Ryan will pick me? Ha!
I was really into MTV’s Jersey Shore. Oh my God. I got really obsessed. I would count down until the next episode—literally, like, “OK, four more days….” I was that into it. I’m from the East Coast and I knew guys like that growing up, so it was fascinating. I could relate to it in some strange way. The most entertaining character is The Situation: There’s so much insecurity going on there. But we don’t need to analyze the cast!
Get your copies of Women’s Health Magazine to find out all things Ryan Phillippe. He’s a bachelor now – - maybe you stand a chance. That is if I don’t get him first. Ha!

Chuvahotness #27 – Philippine Indie Actor Marco Morales

Former SOP Showboys member Marco Morales was a scene stealer in the Joel Lamangan film Walang Kawala, a singer-slash-model-turned-sexy-actor. Morales, according to UPH, grew up and studied in Australia; worked in an accounting firm while doing modeling and singing stints on the side; returned to Manila in 2004 and starred in several TV commercials (i.e. Chowking, Extra Joss and Magic Flakes); and, was part of SOP’s all-male sing and dance group Showboys on GMA-7 (a la ASAP Mania’s Coverboys on ABS-CBN). Currently, Marco Morales is included in the cast of Rakista on TV5 (previously ABC).
He continues to be very busy starring in Indie Films mostly gay-themed. He’s got a lot of following and admired for his down-to-earth attitude towards his fans, gay or otherwise. He’s starred on many Indie films including Butas, Booking, Heavenly Touch and many others.

Noah’s Ark believed to be in Turkey – Found?

Explorers are claiming that they have found Noah’s Ark that they believe was the vessel that saved humanity and a pair of every living creature during the deluge that was chronicled in the bible.
Many Christians believe that Noah’s Ark rests somewhere in Turkey but many have already claimed that they have found the ark yet proved to be false.
This time, the Christian explorers are 99.9% sure that they have found the ark stating that compartments are buried at 13,000 feet above sea level made of wood were sitting somewhere near the peak of Mt. Ararat in Turkey. The wood found dates 4000 plus years back which they say would match the proper timeline that proves this really is the one. They have kept the exact location of the find in secret for now until they are ready to declare it.

Sandra Bullock files for divorce. Adopts a baby boy.
People magazine confirmed that Sandra Bullock has finally filed for divorce from her husband of a little over 5 years citing “conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectations of reconciliation”.
It is a sad ending but it’s great that she stood up against the infidelities of her “would-be-ex-husband” Jesse James when rumors (that turned into reality) of him surfaced having multiple partners while married to Sandra.
It was also confirmed that she has adopted a baby boy. Way to go Sandra. You can do it!
Are you a small business? Do you have a presence online?
One of the mistakes that small businesses have is relying on the old ways of advertising. Advertising on local newspapers and yellow pages may have worked really well in the past but in this day and age of technology, one must not rely simply on the age-old traditions. I have a friend who is a co-owner of a restaurant and he’s a great example of a small business who utilizes local online advertising to get business. He created a Facebook page for their restaurant and targeted marketing to those who are in the local area for anything that he would like to communicate. If they are having a seafood dinner special, he posts it on Facebook and reach out to people who would probably ignore newspapers and yellow pages but would be on Facebook all the time.
A small business needs to have an online presence and if they realize how much margin they can make by having that presence, they would probably be surprised at the scale where they can take their business to. Everyone has a website these days and marketing online could be the best strategy you could possibly do for your business.
There are online marketers out there and for a small fee, local online advertising could be your way to take your business to the next level. Think about it.
A way to get started in investing. It may give you good training.
If you are a regular here, you may have read that I have started investing in stocks. It’s another way for me to earn a bit of income on the side and I have a lot of fun with it as well. I started paper-trading first to determine if my ego can take the roller coaster ride of the market. After a few hits and misses – I have decided to go in it for real. Remembering one thing and one thing only – - protect your capital.
Although it is fun and a little more risky, I do it. What I would like to do eventually is to invest in real estate. The thing is, real estate investing requires experience as well and not something that you will dive into blindly. You need to have the aptitude and the vision to find out where and how to successfully profit from it. Virtual Real Estate Game is a game that will allow you to do just that, with play money or for real. You have to be able to try your wits with something first before you put your money into it.
Similar to stock investing, try playing the game with virtual money first. See how you do and then plan your strategy if that is really something that interests you. You must invest during your strong working years because this is the time that you still have that paycheck coming in. It prepares for a better future for retirement and a good one at that. Play the game and make your dreams a reality.
How you can always end up a winner.
Listen to this. I may not have a lot of thing in common with my brother but we do have one thing in common. We do it for fun and when we do, we try to outdo each other simply to add excitement to the game. We dabble a little bit on Online Gambling and with certain precautions but we do enjoy it. He and I also invest in the stock market and we enjoy that too. I guess both can be similar but you can’t be a gambler and an investor at the same time. You can be in danger of losing your shirt.
But, that’s the fun I have with my brother and we do it only when I visit him on a weekend and we’re just sitting around doing nothing. We put a limit on what we’ll spend and a limit on what we expect to gain. If we reach that point, it’s done. We get excited because sometime my sisters would join in and put a bit of their own money and see who among their brothers would do best. I always win though. Haha! Somehow, I just have that complete control over money. I have the discipline to say – stop. And usually when I do stop, I’m on the winning end. Emotions can’t play a role when you’re playing games online otherwise, it could be bad news.
If you are the type of person who enjoys to play games with family members, doing little challenges and competition is a lot of fun. When you do however, keep in mind that you have to detach your emotions from the game. You will always end up a winner.
Spend time with family and enjoy at the same time.
Last week, I got a call from my sister in New York. Apparently, my other siblings were traveling to Atlantic City and wanted to meet us there. We always have a great time whenever we go there. You know, the perks like free food, free drinks and all that jazz. We get to stay for free as well. My sister is a high-roller and we get almost anything for free from these casinos. If you get the hang of it, you can really play it.
Here’s what my sister does. She plans on a specific amount that she needs to win with a certain limit of what she can afford to lose. Once one or the other happens, she’s out. And we get the chance to enjoy it and not be pressured by the whole thing. My other sister and I simply joins for the ride because of the free food and free massage that we get every time she wins. 
I did have to decline going during the last time she called me because I had already made other plans. These things relax me and that’s the reason I go. I get to spend time with family, laugh a lot and enjoy ourselves. We cannot be slaves to our lives. We have to live a little. And having certain limits in playing keeps you on the safe side. If you can honestly say you can do that, I don’t see why you can’t play and enjoy at the same time.

I was watching Oprah last week and I believe she featured the island that is owned by the Virgin Atlantic Company mogul. I mean, he bought this island where there was only one tree and nothing else. He has transformed that island into a personal paradise and he has people working there simply to maintain the island. And get this! The workers stay there for four or five years at a clip! They must be loving their jobs don’t you think?
Have you ever thought of working in an island somewhere? What about if you can work on the Virgin Islands like St. Croix, St. John or Anegada? Well, if you know where to look – you can find them. Summer is getting near folks. Although it’s still quite chilly here on the east coast. Quite annoying sometimes but if you must stay indoors, there are plenty of things to entertain you. Do you like playing games? I do. I am addicted to Farmville on Facebook. It’s quite an addicting game most specially with the new additions of features every time I log in. And I get bonus points as well that makes my ranking higher easily to obtain more property and stuff.
I don’t know if you’re into online casinos. If you are, the best way to play the game is to understand which sites provide the best bonuses and best payouts. Why play if you can’t get the best right? There are review sites out there that provides you a ranking of which online casino will give you the most for your buck and it’s not hard to find. Philippine elections coming up? Never celebrate too early.
Hey Ho!! The Philippine Elections is so close that everyone is probably thinking that their candidate has bagged the Presidency. Don’t be too quick. Things can happen at the last minute and you just never know. We have to be vigilant in making sure that fraud has no room in this election. For those who would like to see Noynoy Aquino bag the Presidency, make sure that you vote. It is not over until it’s over.
If you look at the video below, the Croatian team celebrated a little too early and did not pay attention to the running clock. The Serbians got one over them and won the game. This was similar to the run that Hillary Clinton did. Everyone thought she had the Presidency, until Barack Obama came into the picture. Who would have thought?

When blessings come, they come. I remember when I started blogging and I was talking to a friend of mine in Washington DC. I was so excited and I would suppose (not bragging by any means) that he was inspired to blog because of me. ;)
Well, voila! His blog has loyal readership and really just a simple blog. I believe he is at PR 4 and still did not want to make money off his his blog. He said that it really is just a hobby and besides, if he adds PPC ads on his blog, it will be filled with offers for fake LVs which he didn’t want. He blogs mainly about the LV brand and you will find all sorts of photos from readers and non-readers alike submitted to him. I believe he has more than 15 LV bags if not more.
So, Congratulations to my fellow blogger in DC. In LVoe with Louis Vuitton has crossed over the 1M unique visitor threshold! I am so damn proud.

You see! And straight people thought we don’t go through the same things. As much as we try to keep a relationship going – - even after 33 years, things can still happen. Richard Chamberlain (best known for his role as the priest on Thorn Birds) has reportedly separated from his partner of 33 years. Ouch!
It’s just a shame because 33 years is like 150 in gay years. What can you do. Sometimes, things just don’t work out. But 33 years? Hmmmm

I still cannot pinpoint the magic that’s in the hands of this little boy. He’s been everywhere and amazingly successful at a very young age. Teenage girls scream and pass out every time he performs.
Yup, you got it boys. It’s Justin Bieber. I have avoided blogging about him because seriously, I don’t think he’s even ‘bloggable’ because he is so young but the tidal wave of his popularity just can’t hold me up anymore.
Just one video – One Time (featured below) with over 83 million views!! What in the world is that? This kid has got it going for him. And guess what? Charice will be performing with Justin Bieber on Oprah next month. It’s surely going to be an awesome show.

This kid has really grown to become an artist. I used to enjoy his videos from when he first started to this sexy young guy.
Well, he has now entered the world of film. It’s his very first time in this kind of genre. He has always made short films (music videos) but nothing had prepared him for this character but he really did enjoy it. The 23-year old Jesse McCartney had the best time creating the film and the camaraderie that was associated with making the film.

Gov. Vilma Santos endorses Noynoy Aquino in new political VTR
With a little less than two weeks to go before the people of the Philippines heads out to vote for their new President, political ads have started coming out in support of their candidates. With Noynoy Aquino‘s pull in the entertainment industry because of his sister Kris Aquino, we are sure to see more of these types of ads.
Gov. Vilma Santos is up for re-election as Governor of Batangas and so is her husband Ralph Recto for Senator.
Noynoy’s standing according to Chuva’s polls, stands at 52%, a very wide lead from his most popular rival Manny Villar garnering only 13% of the total votes. Comments described it as a biased poll but it’s out of my control. I put the poll up and they vote. If Noynoy is on the lead, then he is leading in my book.
Beyoncé’s Nip Slip Photo at the beach – So Anne Curtis, don’t feel so bad.
Enough with crying foul already. They do have nip slips all over the world. Anne Curtis’ nip slip at Boracay Beach during ASAP XV taping was kind of well… more exposed than the normal slip.
Then came the Karylle (Photoshopped) Nip Slip. Such a hoax. It was really obvious.
Now – here comes Beyoncé as she Slips A Nip At The Beach. Woohoo! It’s there and you can really see it. Nothing big to worry about though.. (no pun intended). I’m sure she’s not going to have an outcry over the photo. Just a simple advice though.. next time at the beach, wear a nipcover.

It’s hard enough to keep a relationship as a regular couple, out of the spotlight and simply dealing with all the craziness of being in a relationship. It’s probably like that times the highest power for celebrities.
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs and longtime boyfriend Lorenzo Martone are now telling friends that they have broken up according to the New York Post. That is just sad.
I wonder if Bryanboy sent his card already, wishing Marc Jacobs the best and that they can now party together as single ladies? Hmmm.. Just kidding.
