Remember Elian Gonzalez? New teen photos have surfaced.

Many of you who were already aware of your surroundings 10-years ago, would have heard about a Cuban boy named Elian Gonzalez who ws found floating on an inner tube over the coast of Florida.  His mother died from drowning while trying to reach the territories of America.

The boy was embraced by Cuban immigrants in the US as their symbolic figure of what Castro’s regime was all about – oppression.

However, U.S. Immigration officials were insistent that the boy should be returned to Cuba and whoever saw the way the US Military  with guns stormed into the home where Elian Gonzalez was staying – then, only 6 years old – would have been as horrified as the little boy was.

A new photo surfaced (which is probably propaganda) with Elian Gonzalez wearing a green military uniform, waving the Cuban flag.   More so, it is a display of an image to say that Elian is happy where he is and that he supports the Castro regime.

What do you think.  Do you genuinely believe that Elian is happy where he is?  Or could you have seen a better future for him if he had stayed in the United States?
