Celebrity Apprentice Co-star Sharon Osbourne is completely devastated about Bret Michaels news
I couldn’t believe it. I was just watching Celebrity Apprentice a couple of weeks ago and was really starting to admire Bret Michaels because you do see that heart on his sleeve. He may look tough on the outside like a rockstar who doesn’t give a flying kiss but he really does!
I was as shocked as Sharon Osbourne when I heard on the news this weekend that Bret Michaels was “fighting for his life”. I couldn’t believe it. Apparently, he is suffering from brain hemorrhage caused possibly by brain aneurysm? Wow!
Sharon Osbourne said that she was “completely devastated” about the news and that she wishes him well.
She continued to say…
“It is just hideous. It makes you feel all these different feelings. Your heart goes out to his family. Your heart goes out to him. He is the nicest guy in the world. Then you start thinking of your own mortality. It makes you appreciate how lucky we all are.”

Well, apparently the lawyer’s of Sean “Puffy” Combs did. According to Towleroad.com, a website called SandraRose.com posted a blind item about someone who is gay I suppose. I guess the blind item post went on and on about whatever it is (I didn’t read the post).
Then, the blogger receives a Cease and Desist letter from lawyers of Sean “Puffy” Combs asking that the post be taken down? Ha! Why would you run after a blind item and expose a name? It’s like sayin, “That’s me wh*re – take it down!”

I grew up reading comics. One of my favorite is Archie. I would really have liked it if there was a character then with whom I would have been able to identify with. Like a gay teen for example.
Well folks, wait no more. There’s already a lot of waves being created about the gay teen named Kevin arriving in Veronica’s life in the comic book. The website who initially posted the story received a lot of negative comments from people who disagree that their children should be exposed to the “homosexual agenda”.
Come on – - whether they like it or not, gays will be a part of their child’s life regardless where they take or hide them. We are everywhere…

Luis Manzano gets his second acting award for In My Life

Does anybody really care? Apparently so. She draws people in a way that I can’t understand. Is it because the way she looks? Because she’s the funniest one? I’m not sure.

The new $100 dollar bill unveiled (photos)

Today, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke unveiled a new $100 bill equipped with two new security features.
The new bill’s security features include a blue 3-D Security Ribbon on the front of the note that contains images of bells and 100s, which move and change from one to the other as you tilt the note, according to joint release from the agencies.
The $100 dollar bill hasn’t been changed since 1996. The clock shows the time of approx. 4:10. The roman numeral IV was shown on the clock, however it is said to be incorrect since across the street from where I work, the Independence Hall clock shows IIII.
My Wayward Pooch
I had a sinking feeling something was not quite right. With exasperation, I shooed the kids out of the front door for the third time that morning. I wanted everyone out before I set the alarm. Unfortunately, in my rush to load the car I had not observed our miniature schnauzer nosing around the front door. He usually skulks around, looking sad and abandoned, whenever he sees us packing up to leave without him. After a thorough and panicked search of the house, I jumped into the car and took several anxious trips around the block, but I could not find the wayward pooch. I gave up the search, since it was urgent that we get to the airport on time. I decided I would call my brother, who lives down the block, and ask him to maintain the search. I continued cheerlessly onto the freeway, towards the airport, as my son called my brother. My brother informed us, with amusement, the dog had run down the street to his house. It was with alot of relieved laughter and head shaking that we responded to the news. Subsequently, and rather light-heartedly, we finally arrived at the airport. I jumped out of the SUV, already feeling liberated from all of my routine home responsibilities, when I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten to set the ADT Security System. I knew I would not be able to enjoy my vacation without knowing my house and belongings were being monitored with ADT California. That is when I also concluded that the sinking feeling I had experienced earlier, would be following me for my entire trip!
Unless. Maybe another phone call to my brother……
Where can I get car parts that are reasonable?
I need to make sure that my car lasts me forever. Ha! Well, good maintenance on a car helps extend its life. The problem is, it’s very costly.
Have you taken your car in for maintenance recently? My friend took his car to get the brake pads and rotors replaced and parts alone would cost him $400.00 without labor! With the economy not back in full blasts yet, we are all still conscious of spending on large-ticket items – let alone a simple car maintenance that would cost us an arm and a leg.
I am vowing to eat healthy starting today.
I have been feeling quite lethargic lately. I’m always light-headed and out of energy. I went to pay my doctor a visit a couple of weeks ago and after blood tests were ordered, he found that my blood iron level is extremely low. Besides being anemic, he is concerned that the blood vessels I produce are basically empty of hemoglobin.
My doctor referred me to a specialist – a hematologist – to determine if there are any abnormalities in my blood. There could be an issue with my body in retaining iron and he advised me to change my diet with iron-rich foods.

Charice is on top of the world. Have you heard her Pyramid Remix? It’s way way awesome!! No wonder she was invited to perform at Club 57 ( a very trendy gay bar in New York City ). Charice invited her friend American Idol’s David Archuleta to the gig not knowing that it was a gay bar. He of course, graciously attended – - and rumors started flying!
With his tweets, you can tell that David had no idea and Charice immediately apologized but appreciated her friends total support of her by showing up.

“Last night in New York I got invited to go and see my friend Charice perform. Mental note to self: always ask where before you go! Wasn’t my kind of place lol, and I had no clue! I guess you live and learn. The upside was that Charice was awesome, and she has an incredible voice.

”I have nothing against anyone, I’m sorry if that’s how it came across. I’m just not into the partying scene lol. I have friends who are gay, and they’re great people. Whether they’re gay or not doesn’t change how I think of them.

Apple’s security about new products are so tight, no one has penetrated it. The launch of new products are always anticipated with lots of new technology surprises that wows the audience in delight. I believe that it really isn’t what Apple is selling that makes them, it’s how they market their products.

20 years of life shared but destroyed in the end.
Why I think President Barack Obama’s ordering all hospitals to grant visitation rights to same-sex couples is a great gesture, it’s because of stories like these that break my heart.
Imagine this. You have lived 20 years together, all legal documents prepared (living will, powers-of-attorney, medical directives naming one to take care of the other) and yet ignored by hospitals and law makers simply because you are of the same sex.
20 years of life together. Destroyed.
Here’s the story:
Clay and his partner of 20 years, Harold, lived in California. Clay and Harold made diligent efforts to protect their legal rights, and had their legal paperwork in place—wills, powers of attorney, and medical directives, all naming each other. Harold was 88 years old and in frail medical condition, but still living at home with Clay, 77, who was in good health.
One evening, Harold fell down the front steps of their home and was taken to the hospital. Based on their medical directives alone, Clay should have been consulted in Harold’s care from the first moment. Tragically, county and health care workers instead refused to allow Clay to see Harold in the hospital. The county then ultimately went one step further by isolating the couple from each other, placing the men in separate nursing homes…
