The Special Friendship between Vice Ganda and Coco “Deng-Deng” Martin
I was really touched when I saw The BUZZ featuring Vice Ganda on his accomplishments, fresh from his successful concert at Araneta Colosseum. There was a boquet of flowers sent to Vice by one of his very very close friends And that very close friend is none other than The Prince of Indie films – our Chuvahotness # 18 – Coco “Deng-Deng” Martin.
Apparently, these two were very good friends way before they were stars. Everyone knows Coco Martin’s history now after he starred in the movie “Masahista”. He still decided to go to Canada and was ready to become a TNT when luck didn’t go his way. He went back home and related his story to Vice Ganda, being one of his “bes” friends.
Who would have thought that the two would be at the height of stardom at the same time! I also liked it when Vice Ganda said that it is nice to know that a gay man and a straight man can be real friends without any romantic undertones. It’s very true and I could attest to that myself. I have a lot of straight friends I hang out with and they are as much fun as my gay friends.
Vice Ganda also stated that his followers on Facebook has now reached 1.6 million — how great is that? I love him as well as Coco Martin. Did you guys know that Coco Martin was also voted as RP’s Sexiest Man on Starmometer for 2010 ? He’s just simply at the top of his game and he is very grateful.
More power to both of you – Vice Ganda and Coco Martin! I do hope to meet both of you someday!
