Bruce Weber does it again. Naked Male Models Reading?

If you don’t know Bruce Weber, you should get to know him now. He is the famous photographer of those A&F (Abercrombie & Fitch) Catalogs. The work that he’s done are so remarkable that most of the stuff that he’s put out are highly desired and becomes collectible items.

He did a chronicle of a handsome and hunky young wrestler named Peter Johnson and placed the compilation in a book named Chop Suey Club (which also has a film of the same title documenting the project) and that book is highly collectible now since it went out of print. He also published another photobook named Bear Pond – same thing – collectible and sells for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

Now, Bruce Weber Makes Naked Male Models Smart is a photoshoot worth reviewing. Bruce Weber is not only very talented but produces highly homoerotic photos that please the eye. Ever wonder why the A&F Catalogs were so popular???

Congratulations Philippines for a smooth and peaceful election! Mabuhay!!

The US and Europe recognized and applauded the Philippines for its display of pure democracy in action. Never has it been a much more peaceful election than last Monday, May 10th 2010. It is accredited to the volunteers, the Rock-the-Vote initiative who rallied the young to get involved.

Even the financial world echoed the success with the Philippine Stock exchange trading much higher and the peso predicted to go higher against the dollar. With a peaceful transition expected, it is more than likely that global support and investment in the Philippines will increase as the nation welcomes a new government.

I feel the same way I felt back in 1986 when President Corazon Aquino came into power. Back then, we were infants in democracy. Now, we have learned how it is and that we must continually strive to instill in our youth that democracy lives. We no longer support corruption. We want bigger and better things for our countrymen and therefore, we shall stand against any politician that would stain our path with greed.

Congratulations mga kabayan!! Chuva Chienes is super proud!! Let’s look forward to the transition in June and let us celebrate for we have shown the world once again, we will rise up!!!

Amazing kid! Watch – he’s going to be discovered.

Source

I don’t know who this kid is but he identifies himself as greyson97 on Youtube. When he started playing the piano, I thought.. hmmm … good stuff. Little did I know that I would see something better. He started singing Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi and I was floored. This kid is so talented and his rendition of the song was really amazing!

Do you want to listen? I bet you do! He will be famous someday. I bet you my pink dress! And remember, when Chuva predicts something – - it’s 99% accurate! :)

It was just recently reported that Tiger Woods health is not in so great shape when a bulging disk was found growing on his neck that stopped him from continuing with his game at The Player’s Championships. Then, TMZ.com reported that Elin is minutes from filing a divorce?

What’s happening? It’s not always fun to be at the top – - because there’s nowhere else to go but down. Hopefully not. There should really be room for a second chance for Tiger.

Extra also reported that Elin might file the divorce in Sweden due to privacy concerns.

Ellen Degeneres loves to scare people! And I love it! Watch the montage video.

If you must know, one thing that Ellen Degeneres and Chuva have in common is that we love to scare people. I laugh my arse off every time I scare someone. The biggest trap is the powder room in my house. People come over and they either love to pee or just love looking at themselves in the mirror. I hide just outside the door and I scare the shit out of them. One time, friends of mine come out of the powder room screaming just so that I can’t scare them. Imagine it.. pretty hilarious.

Well, Ellen showed us a montage of her hilarious scare montage this year which includes Taylor Swift, Josh Duhamel, Demi Moore, Christina Applegate, The Rock, Dakota Fanning, Richard Simmons, Jenny McCarthy and many more!!! Watch it and pee laughing!!

Politics as usual. Be cunning as serpents and gentle as doves? Erap skips Binay on ballot form.

Hahaha!

It was admitted as pure inadvertence.  Erap Estrada voted in his hometown and captured on cam was the fact that he clearly missed (or intended to mark) the Vice-President section of the ballot.  If you watch the video, you could see that he skimmed over the first page many times – checking and double-checking his entries.  But did he intentionally leave out voting for his running mate?  Jejomar Binay, the vice-presidential candidate who is currently leading in votes was former president Erap Estrada’s running mate.  Although the votes are still close to call for Binay as the official Vice-Presidential winner – - one has to wonder how your own running mate will miss voting for you.

Hmmmm… watch this:

Filipino Celebrities and Politics – Gainers and Losers 2010

Chris Diestro of Starmometer.com was kind enough to put together a list of Celebrities vying for a political position in the Philippines. Funny how things turn out when an automated election is used.  I had no idea about half of the celebrities listed here were running for a government seat.  Is being in politics the next step after acting?  I wonder what entices celebrities to go into politics.  Is it the fame? Star Cinema’s Father’s Day Movie “I’ll Be There” Trailer Released – KC Concepcion, Gabby Concepcion, Jericho Rosales

The first-ever movie where real life father and daughter Gabby Concepcion and KC Concepcion are united is I’ll Be There. A movie plot close to the heart of both actors as Gabby, the ex-husband of KC’s real life mom Sharon Cuneta left for the States and returned 15 or so years later. Having re-connected as father and daughter in real-life, the roles should be fairly easy for them to portray. The movie stars Jericho Rosales as well. An offering by Star Cinema for Father’s Day in June.

Fer reel?? Brooke Greenberg is a 17-year old toddler. Anti-aging secret may be discovered?

Get this. She was born in 1993. She turned 17-years old last January. But she has remained a toddler since. Having endured more operations that any toddler could have, Brooke Greenberg suffered through different illnesses as a baby. Miraculously, she has survived all those including seizures, stomach ulcers and such.

Guess what – - she hasn’t grown any more than what would look like a 9-month old baby. Her features are still that of a toddler and her younger sisters take care of her as if she is their little sister.

Scientists are baffled as to what keeps Brooke young. Could it be the fountain of youth? Too early to tell.. yet, she is the only 17-year old I know who still uses a car seat and still cannot get her own driver’s license.

Take a look at the video and be fascinated.

The latest dance craze??? The Dick Slang? Not anywhere close to the Papaya dance.

Hello! This blows me away. A new dance craze is sweeping the “i don’t know where” but even thinking about it is crazy. Apparently, you can wear your loose basketball shorts – - swing to and fro from side-to-side, let your weenie shake unimaginably and call the dance , “Dick Slang”. I guess the dance has caught on – - but I haven’t seen any added videos except this one.

Anyone care to share their videos doing the Dick Slang? Send it in via the comments section:

Peaceful Philippine Elections 2010 held – Noynoy Aquino takes lead close to the finish

With the very first successful automated elections in the Philippines almost coming to an end, Beningno “Noynoy” Aquino continues to take the lead.  With 82% of the precincts reporting, some of the Presidential candidates have already conceded.  Richard Gordon and Manuel Villar have already acknowledged defeat  gracefully while the rest haven’t conceded just yet.

At this point, it is improbable that any of the votes still remaining will go to any of the candidates to overcome Noynoy Aquino’s lead.  Erap Estrada surprisingly came up as a close second to Noynoy will definitely not get the votes needed to win the Presidential seat.

On the other hand, Jejomar Binay took the lead on the Vice-Presidential race but it is still very close to call.  We shall see what the outcome will be, hopefully in the coming days.

Here are the most current results.

Desperate Housewives’ Jesse Metcalfe strips naked for charity on Cosmo

I know. You’re reading my blog because you thought I have pictures of naked men here right? Ha! No, I don’t. Sometimes, I do point to other sites though whenever I find something interesting.

This one is something not to miss. I read that Cosmopolitan’s Naked Centerfolds Special is featuring many hunks naked to raise testicular cancer awareness. It’s a great way to get everyone involved. What I read said that Jesse Metcalfe will be one of the 21 guys featured on the June edition of Cosmopolitan Magazine including Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie Spence.

Support the charity by purchasing the magazine. I said do a good deed, not DO the DEED. :)

“If caught early it’s 99% curable, so it’s crucial that men check themselves regularly. Cosmopolitan’s Naked Centrefolds Special has consistently proven to be a fun yet effective way of raising awareness of this serious issue.”

Justin Bieber Tweets – - “Betty White Rules” – and she did!

The success of Betty White‘s wild ride on SNL over the weekend was buzzing all over the place today. Extra, Today Show, and Access Hollywood were among the celebrity TV shows talking about SNL’s amazing performance over the weekend in 18 months!

You have to admit it though – - Betty White is everybody’s grandmother. We can relate to her like no other. She seems close to our hearts and her performance was no less than superb. She made me laugh and delivered her parts perfectly, specially when she said,

“But I really have to thank Facebook. When I first heard about the campaign to get me to host Saturday Night Live, I didn’t know what Facebook was! Now, that I do know what it is… it sounds like a HUGE waste of time!”

“If I had to connect with old friends, I need a ouija board!!”

Hilarious!! She was amazing. Now, there are talks of getting her to go on Dancing with the Stars! Are you ready for Betty White to go on Dancing with the Stars?! If so – go to Extra and sign.

There was so much of Betty White on SNL, not everything could fit in an hour. Here’s the Debbie Downer segment that didn’t make it. Enjoy!

And what did I tell ya?! Iron Man 2 leads box office at $132.6 M

You see, when Chuva makes a prediction – it usually is 99.9% accurate – - charing!    Iron Man 2 ruled the box office this weekend earning $132.6 Million in ticket sales.  How about that?

I haven’t seen it yet but with that win over the blockbuster feud, I surely am going to see it!  Maybe an IMAX experience will be the best way to watch our hero Stark save the world again.

Here are the box office results for the weekend of May 8-9 (Mother’s Day Weekend):

  1. Iron Man 2
  2. A Nightmare on Elm Street
  3. How to Train Your Dragon
  4. Date Night
  5. The Back-Up Plan
  6. Furry Vengeance
  7. Clash of the Titans
  8. Death at a Funeral
  9. Babies
  10. The Losers

Aquino predicted for landslide win in Philippine Presidential race (Latest Results – Philippine Elections 2010)

We may be on the right path to democracy as it has been predicted that Noynoy Aquino to have a landslide win as President of the Philippines.

The elections were marred with system glitches and usual violence that according to reports have already claimed between 6-10 lives. However, Filipinos showed their enthusiasm and hunger for democracy as 75 per cent of the 50 million Filipino voters showed up in polling places to cast their votes.

According to police, this will be marked as one of the most peaceful elections in Philippine history.

Yahoo News reports:

Aquino, son of the Southeast Asian nation’s most revered democracy heroes, established a huge lead over former president Joseph Estrada with 38.25 percent of the vote counted on Monday night, the election commission said.

Aquino secured 40.44 percent of the votes counted, with Estrada on 25.76 percent and business titan Manny Villar in third place with 13.98 percent, Commission on Election chair Jose Melo told reporters.

“The… elections will go down in our nation’s history as probably the most peaceful and orderly political exercise ever held in our land,” national police director general Jesus Verzosa said.

The race for the vice presidency was a much closer affair than the presidency.

Jejomar Binay, mayor of the Makati financial district and Estrada’s running mate, was ahead with 40.63 percent of votes tallied on Monday night against 36.69 percent for Aquino’s partner, Mar Roxas.

Viral it is.. Lady Gagita! You have to watch it!

Thanks to Chuvaness because I have been searching for online content all night and I couldn’t find anything much worth sharing after Betty White‘s appearance on SNL.

But when I saw this video, I almost died!  I agree with Chuvaness, the editing was superb and the video – - you just have to watch it.  The Lady Gaga/Beyonce Telephone parody is hilarious!!

Miss USA 2010 or Playboy Centerfold 2010?

The newly published photos of the contestants for this year’s Miss USA pageant have raised some eyebrows. The most loyal fans of the pageant have questioned the need for the photos taken of the Miss USA pageant contestants because they thought the photos are too sexy. Do you think the photos are too sexy for the pageant?

Imagine this, Binibining Pilipinas 2010 will have our contestants in fishent stockings, sprawled over a bed and looking provocative. Is that necessary? Or even putting an unbuttoned polo shirt without a bra and having them pose like they are about to smoke a cigarette (hint hint). Is there a need for that?

Look at the rest of the pictures and decide. Head on over to Miss USA — The Provocative Pics | TMZ.com.

Biggest loser contestant drops hubby for a woman.

Like I said, we all have different ways of coming out. Some come out earlier (Clay Aiken?) and some come out later (Ricky Martin?).

One shocking surprise though, a contestant on Biggest Loser was engaged to then-fiance while she was on Biggest Loser and eventually got married to him. But after three years of marriage, she dumped her husband and went off with a chick according to TMZ.

Apparently,Rasha Spindel appeared in 2006 Biggest Loser with her then-fiance Edwin Chapman (who I think is hot by the way), but then realized after 30 years of her life that she is gay and that she really wants to be with a woman.

She told TMZ, “After 30 years, I finally realized I was gay. I have never been this happy as I am now as I am about to marry my best friend and soul mate who just happens to be the sexiest drag-king on the planet.”

How about that?

Election Day Philippines – May 10, 2010 – Chuva’s Poll Results

Like every Filipino around the globe, Chuva Chienes is also hopeful that the Filipino people will choose the best candidate best suited to create a sweeping change in Philippine politics. One that will be considered are “real change” and not just politics as usual.

I ran a poll for a month before the election and the staggering consistency is that the people who voted on the poll have chosen two clear candidates for the Presidential and Vice Presidential seat.

If you missed Betty White’s successful hosting of SNL last night… watch the videos here.

Betty White didn’t disappoint fans when she hosted SNL (Saturday Night Live) last night as a pre-cursor to Mother’s Day. We love Betty White and even if we were at a party, someone had to turn the TV on while people took a little glimpse of her sketches here and there during the party.

But if you missed the whole show, HULU and NBC has the video available which I gladly collected and shared here with you folks.

Enjoy! Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

Willie Revillame: “Bakit ako matatakot? Isa lang ba ang channel?”

Willie Revillame is tempting fate. He really is over the top in bragging that he can go to any network and do the same thing. What in the world is he thinking? Is it really necessary to say the things that he’s saying. I am unsure what karma would be like. Regardless of how much he wants Jobert Sucaldito fired from ABS-CBN, I think these things should be discussed privately. What’s up with him?

Look at this write up:

Willie Revillame is not backing down on threats to resign from his noontime show, Wowowee.

In his interview aired on TV Patrol World tonight, May 7, the popular TV host underscored, “I mean what I say.”

Three days after making a pronouncement in Wowowee, where he threatened to resign from the show if ABS-CBN would not fire Jobert Sucaldito from The Buzz and his radio show on dzMM.

Jobert earned Willie’s ire when he criticized Wowowee for allowing high school students with low grade averages to be contestants on the show.

In the report, Star Patroller Marie Lozano quoted Willie for saying he’s not scared of anyone, “Lalo na tama raw siya.”

“Natatakot akong mawalan ng trabaho? Pag magaling ka, may bilib ka sa sarili mo, at mabuti kang tao, ‘wag kang matakot. May kukuha sa ‘yo. Ba’t ako matatakot? Isa lang ba ang channel?” he said.

Willie Revillame has been absent in Wowowee since Wednesday, June 5. The staff of the noontime show told TV Patrol that the host had not resigned, and is just enjoying a leave of absence for him to be able to rest.

My new crush from Glee “Jonathan Groff” is gay?

There was an article on Newsweek.com about the difficulty for actor who are openly gay to find heterosexual roles that would certainly make the audience believe that they are heterosexual. Look at Sean Hayes (Will’s flamboyant best friend in Will and Grace) – when he portrays a heterosexual male, would you believe in the character without your gaydar going off so loud you had to cover your own ears?!  Of course!  I believe that is because we’ve always known Sean Hayes to be gay because that was the role he became famous for.  I think we will always look at him that way.  When he came out of the closet (*Duh! Was he ever IN the closet?), it made it harder for me to imagine him playing a straight role.

The same with Doug Savant (played Matt Fielding in the original Melrose Place series).  He is straight but because the very first time I saw him in a role was playing a gay man, I have a hard time imagining him to be a straight man – even with his role on Desperate Housewives as Felicity Huffman’s husband.

Willie Revillame vs Jobert Sucaldito- Over reacting or has the right to threaten his employer?

Listen. If you are ABS-CBN, and one of your employees (who I’m sure brings millions of pesos into the business as Willie Revillame will not be paid P1 M a day if he didn’t) threatens to resign simply because he believes that something must be done with another employee who is causing him distress – what would you do?

Like any business, everyone is really dispensable. You or anyone else can be fired from a job that we believe in our hearts that we are fit to do. Your employer is your employer. Although, an employer can overlook everything else that you do if you bring in the big bucks. If Willie Revillame leaves Wowowee, ABS-CBN knows that it will probably not generate as much of a following that Willie has provided. And that is probably why ABS-CBN is trying to resolve the issue behind closed doors.

He has been absent from the show for a couple of days now and Pokwang doesn’t want to comment on the reason for Willie’s absence. Where is he? Is this the same tactic that he used during the Cory Aquino Funeral isssue? Hide from the public until everything subsides and then return as if nothing happened? Was his “on air” tantrums acceptable to ABS-CBN? Was it necessary to put this out on the air instead of resolving the issue with Jobert Sucaldito internally?

What’s your take on it? Is it a very good reason for ABS-CBN to simply let Willie Revillame go? Or is it another way of Willie Revillame trying to stretch his star muscle to convince ABS-CBN that he’s the god of Wowowee?

Take our poll below:

Is Willie Revillame Over Reacting?
Yes, very much so! I don’t care if he resigns!
No, he is right to defend the students!
