My crush John Lloyd Cruz finally admits that he’s in a relationship with Shaina Magdayao. Ouch!
Just kidding. I know that John Lloyd Cruz is a great guy and a great catch. That’s why I had this long-lasting crush on him but it’s time that he finds the right person for him.
He recently admitted that he’s in a relationship with actress Shaina Magdayao and that things were ironed out with John Pratts prior to the relationship commencing. That’s a real man if you ask me.
In a statement, John Lloyd Cruz admitted the relationship stated below:
“YES, IT’S US.” So to cut it short, is Shaina his girlfriend now?
“Matagal ko nang hinihintay ito!” laughed John Lloyd. “Once and for all, gusto ko sabihin at sagutin na, yes, it’s us. I wanted to come out and once and for all say something kasi ang dami nang nag-take advantage sa pagtahimik ko. Hindi na maganda kasi marami nang taong nadadamay and marami na ang taong nasasaktan. Hindi na nakakatuwa.”
“Dapat magsalita na ako,” continued John. “Para sa kanila at di para sa akin. Wala akong maico-complain sa buhay ko. Sa lahat ng tao who don’t mean me well, I wish them the same happiness I have right now.”

Will the Brazilians think I’m cuter because I speak Portuguese? Or is this guy simply cute?
When I visited Brazil the first time last year, I instantly fell in love – - – with the country sillies!!! It’s because of the warmth of the people whom I met there. Somehow, I could relate it back to the times when I still lived in Manila. Their personalities and attitudes are almost exactly the same with Filipinos.
I started learning Portuguese when I got back. I purchased a CD and a “Speaking Portuguese for Dummies” book. I still haven’t mastered the language but I do enjoy speaking with my friends online.
I’m sure the same thing happened to author Rafe Bartholomew when he was researching the Philippine’s love for basketball. I mean, research is one thing but if you fall in love with the people – - learning the language is another.
Listen to how good this guy speaks in Filipino… and because of that, I think he looks cuter. Not that he’s not cute to begin with but when he speaks Filipino… awwwwww!
His book, Pacific Rims is out and he was in NYC Barnes & Nobles in Union Square last night to promote his book and I was just in NYC last weeked! Arrgghh!

Did you know you can be arrested for running away from a bull in Spain?
If you see a bull in front of you, with horns like crazy charging away – what would a normal person do? Run away right? I would. Dang! If I see a bull without horns, I will still run away.
Apparently, that is not acceptable in Spain. Matadors are supposed to literally “take the bull by the horns” and fight.
This 22-year old matador couldn’t handle the pressure and fled. He was arrested and fined for not facing his opponent.

Someone left a comment on my post regarding the indie film “Halik Sa Tubig” which stars our favourite, Marco Morales and co-starred by several other actors including Kiro Baldemor.
The scandal has to do with cash borrowed by Mr. Baldemor from a certain “gay-benefactor” and never paid back. A total of P28,000 pesos was allegedly borrowed by Kiro Baldemor from a certain gay guy named NICO. Allegedly, Kiro has promised to pay it back by June 15th. When called upon, Kiro ignores Nico’s phone calls and has never called back.

I was on Twitter today trying to figure out how I could put my tweets on the sidebar of this blog when I noticed that Twitter is over capacity again. (You know, that whale image with birds lifting it with strings?)
So I decided to glance at what’s trending on Twitter today. I found out that Fernando Torres is one and I had no idea who he is. So I Googled him.
Hmmm – - Now I know why. A lot of people are googling his image because as you can see above – he is a hottie football (soccer) player from Spain. I guess, Cristiano Ronaldo has a competition now. With FIFA 2010 in high gear, get ready to find more hottie football players to come out in the next couple of weeks.

Charice is one piece of work. Did you know that during an interview with New York’s Z100 Radio Station, Charice was asked to show her talent in imitating other artists such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rhianna and Britney Spears? She did great on most of them but I didn’t think she did a good Lady Gaga impersonation. Overall, the radio station jockey was impressed together with the audience inside the studio.

I found out from Louis Vuitton Lover that iPad cases are available from Louis Vuitton in Monogram and Graphite. I was so happy although I am not about to purchase an iPad. In fact, the cases have already sold out and won’t be available again until late August or early September.
I recently purchased a Macbook Pro and I am about to possess my very first iPhone when it is released on June 24th.
I’m at a conflict which iPhone case I would get. Should I go for the monogram or graphite? I think I’m going for the monogramouflage.
If I buy a luxury car, would I have to pay an arm and a leg for accessories?
Here’s one of the surprising events during my trip to Brazil. I don’t know if you remember me talking about a good friend of mine whom I met the last time I was in Sao Paulo. His name is Renan and okay, let’s say I developed an infatuation for him. But, that is long gone. I have moved on. During my last trip, I met with him in Rio (where he’s originally from) and I didn’t expect my heart would jump again when I saw him. Why? The guy pulled up in front of our hotel in an Audi. He looked so good in that car I thought I would die. Ha!
I’ve always wanted to buy a luxury car. I have looked at BMW’s, Mercedes, Lexus and the like. I couldn’t decide which one to buy. I’ve heard many stories about how expensive the repairs would be and all that jazz. But did you know that if you go online, you can actually save money in buying volkswagen accessories, mercedes accessories and even mazda accessories?? There are lots of ways to spiff up your car and obtain accessories at a lesser price than ordering them from the dealer.
Seeing Renan in an Audi now makes me want to buy an Audi. My current car is all paid for and it has very low mileage and in perfect condition. I think I can get a great trade-in value for it and move on to a luxury car. I’m simply weighing my options right now but I know for sure that one day – - I will get one.
Apple Store Website Down – error upon pre-ordering iPhone 4
I’m glad I have connections! Ha! I was trying to determine how much it would cost me to order the 32GB iPhone 4 with the services I needed such as the data plan and messaging plan. I go to the Apple website and go through the steps in pre-ordering the iPhone 4 (did you know that they are coming up with a white one? Woohoo! Maybe I should just wait.) and when you are about to complete your order so they can show the total price of the plan I have chosen, I get the message above.
This is not good – - specially if thousands of people are logging in a few days before the iPhone 4 is released to pre-order their iPhone.
Let’s hope they have anticipated the surge of orders coming through their website within the next few days.
Chuvachienes.com is throwing a White Party – - June 19th
Chuvachienes.com will be celebrating Chuva’s birthday with a White Party theme on June 19th. Come one – come all! Yes, it is a delayed celebration because the Brazil trip coincided with Chuva’s birthday.
I’m wondering now, is there an app for throwing a party? With less than a few days to spare – there’s still so much to do. Alcohol needs to be ordered, catered dinner needs to be placed and cleaning Chuva’s “kubo” in preparation for this weekend’s event are all still outstanding. Whew!
I am so certain however that whomever gets to participate will have a blast. My neighbors have already been warned… this is going to be a loud and crazy party.
By 4:00 p.m on Saturday, Brazilian Techno Music will be blasting in the background. My porch will be covered in white cloth and the white carpet begins at 7:00 p.m.
I’m excited and stressed as expected. The party hasn’t even started yet and I already want it to be over with.. Ha!
KC Concepcion balances relationship with both dads Gabby and Kiko
At the press conference for I’ll Be There, KC Concepcion appeared to have a hard time when asked to compare her stepdad Sen. Kiko Pangilinan to her biological father Gabby Concepcion.
She first talked about her Papa Gabby, whom she had not seen for 13 years so her longing for him was definitely more intense, especially when she would recall their memorable moments together. “Thirteen years kaming hindi nagkita ni Papa pero nagkakilala na kami before. May mga bagay na lagi mong hahanapin kung sino ‘yung magulang na nalayo sa ‘yo,” she shared.

I was with my family over the weekend in New York City. It’s always fun to hang out with them for a weekend (that’s the longest I can take! haha!) and finding out several things about my nieces and their boyfriends and fiance is more fun specially when you find out that one of the boyfriends works for AT&T and can get you the pre-ordered iPhone.
I have always been a Blackberry user and refuse to jump to become an iPhone user but the new iPhone 4 is just too cool not to have.
So, my niece’s boyfriend hooked me up. I am going to be an iPhone user starting June 24th. Watch out folks! And no, I am not going to download Grindr. (Yeah right!)
