“Oh, my God, how painful! I’m so depressed. Very ouchy talaga!” – Gretchen Barretto to Angelica Panganiban
Ha! Okay, I’m not about to stand in the middle and be self-righteous and say that I am not sinful or anything. But with the kind of response that Gretchen Barretto gave to one reporter when asked about the Twitter post of Angelica Panganiban – was it right for Gretchen to respond as if she doesn’t care?
When Angelica Panganiban stated that she will send photos back but no solos of Derek Ramsey because “they are double – - a couple”, Gretchen responded with “Oh, my God, how painful! I’m so depressed. Very ouchy talaga!”

KC Concepcion sheds tears of joy upon seeing her dad (Gabby Concepcion) and mom (Sharon Cuneta) together.
We can’t blame the little child in KC Concepcion when she shed tears of joy upon seeing her dad and mom together during the taping of Sharon at the Dolphy Theater last night, June 7th.
She was very young when her dad, Gabby Concepcion and mom, Sharon Cuneta broke up. There were very little contact in between them and as best as time would have done it… things slowly fell into place. Wounds started healing and an opportunity for KC to meet her father in San Francisco was blessed by her mom.
To see your parents together, knowing that at one point in their lives – there was love in between them – could be very emotional. Add the media blitz into the complicated personal relationship of two people and it could easily be distorted. For KC, she seems to know the truth about her mom and her dad. Having established a personal relationship with her dad through the years must have contributed to her tears of joy as well.
Some relationships cannot be repaired to the way it was and I think KC knows that.
“Siyempre ito yung hinihintay mo. All my life, since nagkahiwalay sila, siyempre gusto mo na lang na magkasama sila. Masaya na kami with the Pangilinans, masaya na si Papa with the Concepcions. Pero siyempre, iba pa rin yung makita sila [her parents] na magkasama,” KC explained.
Kilig to the bones ang mga solid Gabby/Shawie fans huh? I’m sure that this episode of Sharon will top the viewer’s list that week. Let’s see what happens.

Angel Locsin grabs top spot in partial and unofficial tally for FHM Sexiest Women poll
After 386,000 votes had been cast, Angel Locsin toppled Marian Rivera in the partial and unofficial tally for the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll. With only one week to go before the voting period comes to a close on June 15, it looks like the title for Sexiest Woman in the World is still completely up for grabs.
Marian lorded it over all others since voting started last April, but with the strength of Angel’s May 2010 cover for the country’s number one men’s magazine, it looks like Marian’s fans cannot rejoice just yet. ABS-CBN stars Cristine Reyes and Angelica Panganiban occupy the third and fourth spots respectively, and GMA-7 hottie Iwa Moto falls one spot to fifth place.
Five years have passed since Angel held the number one spot but she has been a constant presence in the Top Ten every year. She is currently working on the teleserye Imortal with Box Office King John Lloyd Cruz and a yet-to-be titled movie under Star Cinema with Aga Muhlach.

Photos from my Trip to Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro
As Brazil prepares for major events to come in 2014 and 2016, here I am planning on my trip back to one of the warmest cities I’ve grown to know. Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro have very warm people. Little did I know that another city known as Porto Alegre (Happy Port) would offer the same experience and more.
I’m sure you are aware that Brazil has lots and lots of beautiful people. Most of them, inside and out. I’ve met many of them during my first trip to Brazil and met more of them this time around.

Whoah whoah whoah! I was gone for a few days and the rift between Gretchen Barretto and Angelica Panganiban has already thicken. I wasn’t going to pay attention to it because we all know how Gretchen is – but this one has a bite to it. I think something is up.
When Gretchen Barretto asked Derek Ramsey to send her “solo” pictures from his trip to South Africa as he attends FIFA World Cup 2010 during an interview with SNN, a very personal tweet was sent by Derek’s girlfriend Angelica Panganiban. The tweet simply stated – - “Tarraayyyyyy!!! Single ka teh?” but was loud and clear. Angelica seems to be sending a message to Gretchen Barretto to stop flirting with her man. Even though Angelica didn’t confirm that it was Gretchen whom she had the tweet directed to, it was clear when she said that she was not part of Derek and Gretchen’s teleserye “Magkaribal” and that if “she needs to promote, to promote is by herself and not include Angelica because she is not a cast on the series.

Chuva Chienes is back from vacation – - woohoo~!
Many of you have probably been waiting for my vacation posts and I apologize if I haven’t had the time while on vacation to sit down and blog. The internet connection at the hotels we stayed at were very intermittent and the signal keeps going on and off.
I am back from vacation now and I must say – - second time in Brazil is still as exciting as the first time I was there. The warmth of the people made the trip more memorable.
I got another CD from DJ Pitt Garcia given to me and I would like to share it with you all. If you haven’t listened to “techno music” which is very popular in Brazil, you have to get a taste of this.
I could have danced all night when we went to The Week in Rio de Janeiro. The music was simply fantastic.

2-year old Indonesian boy addicted to smoking up to 4 packs a day?? WTF? (VIDEO)
This almost blew my mind. I thought smoking a pack a day is bad, but four packs a day? This kid became addicted to smoking when he was younger when his mom gave him a cigarette to stop him from crying. He has now become a tourist attraction and the mother claims that she didn’t even know that smoking was bad for her baby’s health.
Are there any child protection services in Indonesia? The mother claims that they have weened the boy from smoking and is now down to only a pack a day after the media attention.

The best food we had in Sao Paulo….
If you want to taste good food – - and cheap (I guess you know by now that I am very frugal when it comes to my travels) – - I would suggest that you try one at the Iguatemi Mall foodcourt… La Estancia.
The yellow flakes are like crushed chicharones that you mix with your mashed potatoes or rice. Yummmmm!
This is rice and egg I believe – was told that it was good as well.
The only complaint we received was from the Princess of Marlton who preferred to have a bigger portion of her steak… but it was still fabulous!
Sorry guys but I cannot remember all the names but the food was uhummmmmm good!!
Rio de Janeiro is absolutely breathtaking!! Put on your Havaianas – let’s go to the beach!
This is my second time in Rio and the last time I took the bus from Sao Paulo. This time, we took the plane via Webjet because the flight was cheap. I am still amazed. Rio is such a party town. The only thing is that the statue of Christ the Redeemer is currently enclosed in scaffolding in preparation for the events that are about to be celebrated here in Rio de Janeiro.
Remember, they won the host country bid for the Copa do Mundo (World Cup) for 2014 and the Olympics in 2016. Even the airports are being prepared now before these events take place.
I a meeting with two of my Brazilian friends and yes, we are going out tonight.

Now that Charice has confirmed she’s not appearing on Glee – it’s time to get our FB page rolling!
As you may all have heard or read, Charice has denied the rumors that she is appearing on Glee (the very popular TV series in the US). Apparently, what Perez Hilton had posted on his blog is untrue and Inquirer.net was quick to publish a confirmation as well that Charice’s manager has confirmed the appearance on the show.
I checked the link on the Inquirer.net page today and it has been taken down. So, that only means one thing. We need to get our Facebook Fan page going and ask everyone and anyone who is a fan of GLEE and Charice to have Charice guest on the show.
So far, we have 90 confirmed fans and we need to get this going to the hundreds of thousands so we can grab the attention of the Glee producers. So what do you say? Go on and head onto the fan page and become a fan.
We are going to Rio de Janeiro tomorrow. Can’t believe vacation is almost over.
Hello folks! Brazil is such a great country! We have met many many people from all walks of life here and to tell you the truth, they have opened my eyes to something more about life in general.
The Brazilians are happy, always smiling regardless of their financial situation. They gather together, they share what they have with everyone else and that’s how simple life is. Who am I to say that having nothing means not being happy?
Life is here to be celebrated and we celebrated it with family, with friends and dear ones who are important to us. Enough about killing ourselves working so much and neglect the simple things in life. Life’s simplest pleasures are the smiles around us – the honesty of friendship and the loyalty of family.
Porto Alegre was a gem to behold. It was a great experience being there and I am very certain that I will be going back there sometime in the future.
I just read today about Rue Mclanahan’s passing and I am saddened by it. I also learned of Gary Coleman’s death as well. That just made me think more about life in general.
Life is short no matter how long you live…. so … LIVE.
Back in Sao Paulo… Porto Alegre was like no other! I left my heart there. :)
Alright folks – - my internet connection has been intermittent at best and I have had no time to sit down and blog about this fabulous trip that I am having here in Brazil. Last night, we had dinner with the owner of the G-Magazine publication. He was very down to earth and nice all the way around. So don’t believe that in order to be at the top – you have to be an asshole.
Male and female models abound during our dinner and we had such a wonderful time in Moema.
