Let’s just get this straight. These two people weren’t meant to be together to begin with. They are both young, having a child before they both got a job… the list goes on.
Apparently, according to E! News, they have called off the wedding/engagement because of Levi’s ex Briana plum who had given an interview and said all sorts of bad things about Bristol.
Hm…. bitter mary party of one!!
So, in all of that – Bristol also found a photo of Briana and Levi on a Facebook account (dunno how damning the photo is/was) which made Bristol call off the engagement.

Yes, it has been compared to a Royal Wedding. This is something really that America needs right now. Forget about the bailouts, the economic meltdown, the unemployment stats… it’s time to party.
I had the pleasure of meeting Chelsea Clinton in Philadelphia during the presidential campaign back in 2008. She was well-spoken and quite a lady.
The little soon-to-be-well-known little town of Rhinebeck, NY has prepared for this event and I’m sure – it’s like England during the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Chelsea and her Fiance have known each other for years and let’s hope that the fairy tale does come true.
Now, she’s tying the knot – I’m sure that if i posts photos of her wedding on this blog, it’s going to crash. Does anyone know who she’s wearing? The last time I checked, it has been reported that she will be wearing Oscar de la Renta for her wedding gown.

What in the world is going on with American Idol? Do you think there is still a chance in saving it?
I, for one don’t watch American Idol anymore. I mean, last season was blah! There are certainly loyals out there but I am not one of them. Adding Jennifer Lopez as one of the permanent judges and allegedly adding Steven Tyler of Aerosmith to replace Simon Cowell just doesn’t appeal very much to moi.
I guess it’s time to hang the hat. American Idol has run its course.

Why the seat belt commercial video below became viral.
This is just pure speculation on my part on why the video below has become viral. I first saw the video on a post by my fellow blogger, Bluepanjeet. Then, the same day, I received an email from my brother with the same video urging us to listen. The video had become viral and has reached over 10 million views in a few days.
The video is “heartwarming” because you see a family saved by wearing a seat belt and preventing a loss of a family member. It touched a lot of nerve because when someone dies, regardless of the cause – it is the ones who are left behind who suffer. And in this video, that “suffering” was prevented in the form of a seat belt and what’s best is that the seat belt was represented by the family.

Whoah! The show that caused a lot of ruckus in the beginning with Italian Americans is still going strong. MTV’s Jersey Shore is now inked for Season 3. So, be prepared to see more of Snooki, Mike the Situation and JWowww.
But wait, MTV just published photos of Mike the situation hiding his scuplted bud inside a turtle neck. It’s a turtleneck family photo.. yikes! Ha!
In fairness, his body is still obviously awesome! Yumm!

My last trip to Manila was around May of last year when I met with fellow bloggers and traveled to Boracay. Nothing much has changed from the state of the airport when I traveled to Manila back in 2007 but I did see signs asking for pardon due to improvements. Hmmm.
I first blogged about the state of Ninoy Aquino International Airport back in 2007 after I traveled on a five-city tour in Asia. I was so impressed with the other airports in Asia Pacific until I got to Manila. I actually read from Lea Salonga’s blog about her post to “Open up our First Impression Already” but has since been taken down.
Needless to say, the only place that tourists see when they first land in the Philippines is our International Airport. It is our FIRST IMPRESSION. Compared to Chiangi Airport in Singapore, or even Osaka or Tokyo Airport in Japan – our airport is pathetic. And I do hope that the new administration will pay special importance to the state of our International Airport. Besides, tourism is big business. We have many beautiful places in the Philippines to showcase.
It’s been over a year since I went home to Manila and I thought that those improvement signs were going to be “real improvements” but I guess not. Chuvaness took pictures in and around the airport recently and let me tell you, nothing much has changed. The previous administration didn’t do much and we all hope that the new administration will.
Here’s to hoping that the next time I visit Manila, I will be greeted with an airport with Koi ponds and high-end stores. It’s a great opportunity for our country to invest on our “First Impression”.
Here’s to the AQUINO Administration! Let’s get it going please..

Facebook now claims to have crossed a new milestone, gaining 500 million registered users. Not an easy feat for any of the other social networking sites to imitate.
For being 6 years old, Facebook is worth an approximate 37 billion dollars, making Mark Zuckerberg a billionaire. There is a film being made on how the social networking giant got started. The movie is entitled, “The Social Network” set to be released in October.
From the classrooms in Harvard to what it is today – the story gets very interesting (Justin Timberlake is in the movie)… read a synopsis on Helium.
This would be an interesting story to watch.
Mark Zuckerberg will also lend his voice on The Simpsons in an episode called “Loan-A Lisa”
The new season starts Sunday, September 26 on FOX.

When Straight Men Enjoy the company of Gay Men
The chances of gay man hitting it off with a straight man is pretty null. A straight man is someone who identifies himself as someone who is “only” interested in women.
Before our time, the chances of gay men being buddies with straight men was somewhat pretty null too! Either that or the gay man was in the closet and the straight man had no idea about his buddy’s sexuality.
Gone (almost!) were those days. The world is changing and it is changing for the better. I, being Chuva Chienes – have lots of straight male friends who would rather hang out with me than with their straight buddies simply because they can “talk to me”. Translate “talk to me” to speaking of something else beside women, tits and sports.

I read blogs. That’s part of keeping my blog up-to-date. I visit all kinds of blogs that tackle many different subjects. It could be a religious, personal, travel or food blog. I read them. That is where I take my ideas from and I actually follow quite a few blogs just because I find their content of great interest and some of them have become really good friends of mine.
Being Filipino and all, there are food blogs that I follow and food blogs that I don’t follow. The food blogs that I don’t follow is due to one reason and one reason only. The posts are simply about Pinoy foods that I already know how to make and have already tried. It doesn’t interest me much.
Now, I’m really confused. Droid X – sells out.
I literally placed my order for a Black iPhone 4 just a couple of hours ago. Then, my co-worker Tim just walked over to me telling me how the Droid X (by Motorola) is so much like the iPhone that it sold out.
I go to Verizon’s website, and found this to be true. Due to the demand, they cannot ship anymore until August 3rd. Wow! Did iPhone just find a rival?

Dunno if this story is true or not but I read somewhere that Jennifer Love-Hewitt had a run-in with Taylor Lautner. She asked to take a photo with him and the reaction was quite unwelcoming.
“He’s definitely not Team Jennifer, let me tell you… I deleted the picture,” Jennifer said.
I dunno about that. Do you think Taylor Lauter will actually diss Jennifer Love-Hewitt? And what “unwelcome” reaction prompted Jennifer to delete the picture?
Hmmmm – - I have never heard of Taylor Lautner being rude to fans let alone fellow stars. Do you believe it?
I caved. I am getting the Black iPhone 4 instead. Issues with White iPhone is too scary.
I just placed my order for the Black iPhone 4 today. As you all know, there have been issues with the production of the White iPhone 4 in getting the “white color” match the expectations of Apple. That left me wondering what the color would look like when it finally arrives.
Part of me wants to take the chance but the better part of me says ‘no’. I opted for the Black iPhone 4 just because there are too many unknowns regarding the White iPhone 4. There is little that has been said regarding its rollout (whether in thousands, hundreds, by region etc) and also because no date has been given as to when it will be available and I am antsy already.
Lindsay Lohan (mug shot photo) goes to jail to serve a quarter of 90-day sentence.

There were no tears according t o reports. Lindsay Lohan surrendered yesterday to serve a quarter of her 90-jail sentence (which means she could be out of jail by August 1 or 2 instead of sometime in October). This is due to the overcrowding of the Lynwood prison where Paris Hilton and Michelle Rodriguez served their jail sentences.
The judge didn’t allow photographers to take pictures of Lindsay in handcuffs as well so all that was provided by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as the mugshot above.
Wait until Lindsay gets out… it will be more than likely the same fiasco when Paris Hilton was released. Paris learned her lesson – - I’m wondering if Lindsay will learn hers.
Sarah Palin not attending Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin’s Wedding
It doesn’t come as a shock to me and probably not a major shock to anyone else. For whatever Levi Johnston had put Sarah Palin through, I wouldn’t attend the wedding either. But that was not Sarah Palin’s view. What happened to all the forgiveness and “bring him along” that she talked about on Oprah. Was it all bullcrap?
I think the target of The Resurrected A&F Quarterly is ME. It has more male than female nudity.
If you haven’t seen any of the A&F Quarterlies before they were pulled off from shelves back in 2007 I believe for reasons that are very unclear (due to parent protest of the nudity in the catalog or because A&F says they needed more space in their stores – - whatever), will be reincarnated soon.
If you are a collector, you probably have the whole set until that infamous Christmas issue where parents complained of the “orgies” and other photographs in the catalogue that they found offensive.
Is Kris Aquino the new host of Wowowee? Willie Revillame’s return is not certain according to new reports.
Truth be told, Willie Revillame may not be returning to his game show Wowowee after all. Recent confirmed reports are betting against Cristy Fermin’s statement that Willie’s return to the noontime show is definite.
Recent developments confirm that Kris Aquino (from a supposedly reliable ABS-CBN insider) will host the noontime show upon her return from her vacation in the States. She is scheduled to return to the Philippines on July 30th and Cristy Fermin’s statement of Willie’s return to Wowowee did not state any date at all.
