The Re-Opening of Metropolitan Theater Manila. Bravo Mayor Lim!! Bravo!!!

I was about to start a Facebook fan page about the Metropolitan Theater in Manila in order to gather fans in renovating this historical and wonderful building when I saw the write up about the re-opening of this Art Deco Style building last June 24th. I was ecstatic!
The last time I went home to the Philippines, I saw the Metropolitan Theater in ruins. I was so devastated because I remember seeing a show there once with my sister back in the 80s. That experience was one of the reasons why I love the theater to this day.
I am glad that it is back in operation again and I am hoping that it stays that way. It is one of the most historic places in the Philippines and should be preserved to the utmost.
I wish that every balikbayan would at least try to see one show with the family at the MET to help support the arts in Manila. Wish ko lang.
