Could Puck really be Kurt’s boyfriend on ‘Glee’ ? Gay Kiss?
Looking for hints on Kurt’s new boyfriend on GLEE? Maybe the red carpet question was somewhat a give away when they tried to deny that it’s going to happen?
EW.com seem to imply that it would be the case. Why not Finn? I’m a little excited to find out what’s going to happen.
Although I’m a bit worried about that plot. It is definitely the truth that gay adolescents usually fall for the jock and at times, it probably happens but most occurrences don’t end kind of rosy. Either the jock will stop the friendship with the gay teen just because of the stigma of being associated with being gay or a romance blossoms.
It’ll be cute though but I wouldn’t admonish gay teens be infatuated with their straight friends. There is a reason why they call themselves straight. Because they are.
Don’t get me wrong though. The fantasy of Puck hooking up with Kurt is quite exciting. Hopefully it will be portrayed in a good light. A gay kiss on Glee?! Can’t wait!

Excited for our trip this coming Labor Day – Rehoboth Beach, DE
The Butse Gang used to do this annually – A Trip to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Somehow, budgets were tight and some people preferred to forego of our yearly trip. The last time I went with the gang was in 2008 (where Diwatang Byaning booked a hotel that could have been our demise – mas maigi pa yatang nagbook kami sa Afghanistan – hahaha!! ) and this year, I simply want to get away and Rehoboth Beach seems like the best place to go.
I didn’t go last year because as you all know, there were a lot of cost-cutting happening in my household and workplace. We had to take a paycut and we didn’t get a raise. Times were tough. This year is a bit better and I did get a small raise so I am willing to splurge a little bit.
Project 2010: Bathrooms
At the beginning of this year, I thought I’m not going to have any projects for the house this year. With the economic meltdown last year and the consumer spending at an all-time low, I didn’t want to spend for any major projects at all.
I did have one project that I had to do because it was a must. My bathroom walls were chipping because my washer and dryer are in my bathroom. Whenever I ran the dryer, the bathroom would be filled with steam and little did I know, that would cause the paint to peel. I let it go for long until it was too late when I discovered that I had to get it fixed.
When life was easy and things were simple.
Ahh. The good old days. You may not even think that it was once a lifestyle for Chuva Chienes to be riding horses in my grandfather’s horse stables when I was growing up. My grandfather used to breed champion race horses. I also remember attending awards ceremonies where my father received awards for his horses. Those were the days.
Without giving my age away… (wink, wink), during those times my grand dad’s horses were trained in pure dirt roads. His horse trainers were in charge of rotating the training for his champion pure-bred horses early in the morning. In the afternoon, his grandchildren would take a ride on these horses for fun.
Why I love family reunions. It’s always a blast.
Last weekend, I had to go to NYC to be with my family. My family are split between Maryland and New York City. I am the one in between. It’s very rare that we get a successful family reunion because of our careers, family and other stuff. You all know what I mean. This time, it was a miracle that all the family members were there. Usually, you can only get our family to go to a function if the function is in Atlantic City, New Jersey or Las Vegas!! Haha! That’s who we are. We like gambling.
So, it was super surprising that even without slot machines, we were all there. We had the usual fun and games, the karaoke machine blasting. But then, later on when we all got bored – my brother told me about playing blackjack online. I have dabbled with that before and since the whole family knows how to play 21, it’s a given that we usually agree on playing the game. I had no idea that there are sites out there that can teach you how to play and win the game. It was amazing.
Believe me, family reunions are fun but it’s more fun when you can share common things with family. My brother and I spoke rarely when I was growing up but this time around, we have something in common that we like. Guess who ended up in Atlantic City at the end of our weekend reunion? My brother and two sisters. It was too bad I had to work last Monday. Oh well.

I hope in all hope that Lindsay Lohan will be able to turn her life around just like Robert Downey Jr. did. I mean, the guy was in trouble after trouble but his career became more and more successful as an actor. I still couldn’t figure that out but I do know that Robert Downey Jr. is a great actor.
In the case of Lindsay Lohan though, I think she’s still got some “proving” to do about that. Yes, people want to know what’s going on with her life.. be it her being a lesbian or bisexual or whatever. They also want to know what will go wrong with her life the next time around. But people haven’t been clamoring for Lindsay Lohan because of her acting ability. At least I don’t think so.

Why should Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Venus Raj appear on Oprah?
She faced many challenges to get to where she is. She showed the world what “resilience” meant. Her determination gained her a lot of fans all over the globe. Her name: Maria Venus Raj, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe (Ms. Philippines-Universe).
Why is it that after several days from the Miss Universe Pageant’s conclusion does she still grace the television screens and newspapers all over? The Washington Post had a write-up about her, ABC News with Diane Sawyer touched on the question that was asked of her during the pageant. Twitter exploded with the trend word, “major, major” for several days. Huffington Post even chimed in and ran a poll to see if her answer cost her the crown. Facebook was filled with comments and support even though she placed fourth runner-up. Top 5 was a crowning glory for Ms. Venus Raj and her country, The Philippines.
Was ParisHilton jealous of Lindsay Lohan’s Jail Time – Hilton was arrested for alleged cocaine possession – WTF?
I swear I want to become a celebrity. These people violate laws, goes in and out of jail and spend no time at all for the consequences they faced.
I mean, it that was me – arrested for an “alleged” cocaine possession, I would probably have to spend a good time in jail with all the murderers and rapists. But Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan can do whatever the hell they want and not suffer for it.

Yes, Chuva was included in the list of Top 10 Richest Pinoy Bloggers, and I don’t mind that at all. I just thought I would rather be on this list.

What’s your biggest mistake is not an easy question… Venus Raj was not alone.
Filipinos are still reeling from the experience of having the chance to see their beautiful Miss Philippines-Universe contestant who made it to the TOP 5 during the Miss Universe contest in Las Vegas. We are all very proud of the accomplishment that Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Venus Raj achieved during the pageant.
It has been more than 10 years since we made it when Miss Mirriam Quiambao took 1st Runner-Up in 1999. All eyes were on Venus. Until the question and answer portion. According to my friend who was present at the event in Las Vegas, you could hear people with a gasp of surprise at Venus’ response to the question that was posed by actor Billy Baldwin.

For almost three decades in the music and fashion industry, I can say that Madonna still hasn’t lost her touch. She is still highly-desired by fashion photographers around the world.
The new Dolce & Gabbana campaign features the icon in great photographs shot by Steve Klein for AW10/11.
The photos are as interesting and fascinating as the icon herself.
It reminds me of the photo book she published way back when but this is more on the “G” side rather than the “X” side.

I am not up-to-date with the love team-up of James Reid and Tricia Santos but I must say that there is a “very strong following” of these two teen stars from Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash Edition.
I put up a poll asking fans to vote on who they would like to see in a love team – - whether it was James Reid-Tricia Santos or James Reid-Devon Seron. Not surprisingly, James Reid-Tricia Santos or JACIA or TRIMES is winning by 24% totalling 62% with 401 votes ahead of the James Reid-Devon Seron or JAEVON love team where the pair is trailing behind with 38% or 250 votes.
I’m thinking that if I was a producer at ABS-CBN, I would immediately start a movie campaign for JACIA. The fans are really loyal and they have all sorts of websites and Facebook fan pages for their love team.

Elin Nordegren Speaks About Tiger Woods and her Experience
I have nothing bad to say against Elin Nordegren. She has just been the most patient and classiest person throughout the Tiger Woods saga of infidelity. She never spoke to the media during the hype of the issue. She kept her cool and took care of her children like she normally wood.
People.com reports that Elin Nordegren and her team approached them to speak out about the “alleged” violence in their household saying that she swung a golf club at Tiger was simply “ridiculous”.
Can you imagine this. She never even knew of the affairs until it broke out saying:
“I’m so embarassed that I never suspected [his affairs] – not a one.”
As calm as she has been throughout the scandal, she still says that what she had with Tiger was a real marriage. She thought of Tiger the same was as everybody did – - a good family man, a man of integrity and focus.. and all that. Indeed, she was apparently torn apart by the news and said that the word “Betrayal is not strong enough.” Wow.

The Buzz Today: Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Venus Raj’s Response to Final Question may have cost her the crown
I didn’t really want to dwell on it as I have accepted the fact that Bb. Pilipinas-Universe, Venus Raj made Filipinos proud by making it to the TOP 5 in last night’s Miss Universe Pageant. I was so hopeful that she was going to take the Miss Universe crown home to the Philippines.
She was among the top with reference to favorites to win the crown and she did so well with the swimsuit and evening gown competition. The ultimate downfall was the question and answer portion where she froze. It reminded me of Miriam Quiambao‘s close call to taking home the Miss Universe crown back in 1999 until the Q & A portion where she responded with “That’s a very difficult question.”
Seriously, I was ready to let it go until I logged on to my computer this morning and saw the image above plastered over the Yahoo Headline’s page.
Bb. Pilipinas-Universe, Venus Raj really had a chance – - a very good chance to take home the crown. Her response to the Q & A portion I believe, was the weighing factor why she lost. Which simply means – you can have beauty, you can have confidence.. (appearing to be) without brains will get you nowhere.
