When Juggalos attack: Tila Tequila suffers cuts and scariest moment
Poor Tila Tequila. I wouldn’t know what to do if I was her. I don’t particularly like her but I felt her fear. From the way it was described on CNN.com, the juggalos started throwing bottles at her and attacked her all the way to her trailer where she took refuge.
There were no clear indications on how she escaped the incident but to be mobbed like that was probably a very terrifying moment. The crowd even started shaking her trailer and smashed its windows! Wow!
She tweeted that she is planning to sue the organizers of the concert.

I’m hooked! Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian in Miami
I have been getting home early now. Most of the time, I would walk Jake, water the plants, eat dinner and then I go upstairs to my bedroom and blog.
Now that I bought a 50″ plasma TV (it’s so freaking cheap now!), I end up staying downstairs in my living room and watching a few shows. For some reason, I am getting hooked on reality shows and one of the shows I watch is “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” reality series.
I have been watching the episodes they have been showing the past couple of days and I am telling you, either I’m living in a different world or they are. The big thing that would be coming down this Sunday (Season Finale) is quite a hook. I need to either DVR it or make sure that I’m freaking home to watch it. It’s a zoo!
Kris Aquino: “Being single suits me.”
It looks like Philippines’ Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino is comfortable being single and doesn’t expect to enter any romantic relationships and stated so “categorically and unequivocally” in a magazine article written by her called “Endings and Beginnings“.
She was quoted as saying that “(She is) extremely blessed to have all the love I could ever wish for coming from my two sons, and they are the only two men I wish to give my whole heart and entire being to, because I know they will reciprocate my love and accept me for all that I am and appreciate me for being me.”
She continued on as she wrote in the article that she’s “already done with any romantic illusions. Lasting love and committed relationships just don’t seem to be part of (her) fate.”

Chuva’s Movie Night – Eat, Pray, Love
Hmmm. I’ve been looking for something lately that would give me the “uhhhhhmmm” moment. You know, one of those YOGA-like sessions of peace and harmony and all that bullshit. Life has been chaotic of late and it’s really hard to get away with limited funds and limited days off.
One thing that I will be doing tonight is watching Eat, Pray, Love – starring my one and only America’s Sweetheart - – Julia Roberts. I think this film resonates with a lot of people specially in America where everyone is pretty much stuck in a rut (economy hello!) and couldn’t do much. People just want to get away and find that something.

Google Trends is showing “wizard of oz” as top 4 among the top searched phrases today. That is because 71 years ago, The Wizard of OZ film starring Judy Garland although premiered in Hollywood on August 15th, first was shown in a theater in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin’s Strand Theater on August 12, 1939.
The film has become a major favorite for LGBT folks making the Academy Award-winning song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” a symbol of hope for their fight against equal rights. Hence, the “rainbow” flags etc.
It remains a children’s favorite as well and has stood the test of time. Thanks Google for celebrating the film through the Google Doodle page.

Isn’t this ridiculous? Come on. Miss Teen Waganui (Olivia O’ Neil) is 15-years old. She hasn’t even started to live her life yet and for dyeing her hair and causing her to lose a pageannt crown is absurd! Although I agree that she fits the blonde look better, it’s still no reason for her to be de-throned because she changed her look. 15-year old girls do that. It’s a time in your life when you experiment with things.
Who is this Barbara Osborne anyway (pageant organizer). How could she tell a 15-year old girl – after admitting to her that she dyed her hair black – was told that she wouldn’t go far in life? Gimme a break!

Kris Aquino officially filed a petition for the declaration of nullity of marriage at the Makati Family Court on Monday, August 9.
PEP found out today, August 11, from court insiders that the petition was already raffled off to the Branch 140 of Makati Regional Trial Court under Judge Cristina Javalera-Sulit.
In a previous TV interview with Kris’s lawyer Atty. Anna Liza Logan, she said that instead of annulment, their camp would be seeking nullity of marriage because, “The marriage was void from the beginning, so there was no marriage from the beginning. When you say legal separation, the marriage bond is not dissolved, so they can be separated in fact but they cannot marry anyone else.”

The rumors of Rush Limbaugh, 63 marrying his fiancee Kathryn Rogers, 33 with Elton John performing was a little off in the beginning because both do not share the same views about same sex civil-union. Yet, it was confirmed that at least – Elton John was present at the wedding when Rush Limbaugh posted wedding photos on his Facebook page.

I have a friend who is a flight attendant as well. He just had someone arrested during his flight on Saturday because the passenger hit him. It’s a long story but yes, sometimes pressure can really mount and you end up doing crazy things if you don’t take control of it right away.
I read on the NYTimes.com today that a Jet Blue flight attendant just right after landing at JFK went berserk on a passenger through the paging system, pulled the emergency lever to release the emergency chute, grabbed a beer on his way out and slid through the emergency chute.
The flight attendant was arrested hours later and charged with “felony counts of criminal mischief and reckless endangerment“.
Rosie O’ Donnell to host daytime talk show on OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network)
Wow! I guess I should be glad. I really liked Rosie O’ Donnell during the Rosie O’ Donnell show and rightfully so! She won like 6 Emmy’s during her stint as a talk show host. She did her job as a host, funny and hilarious – and that was it.
However, everything she’s done after that (including coming out and going butch on us) just crumbled into pieces. She had that well-publicized war with Donald Trump. Her presence on The View was very controversial because of her strong opinions and another well-publicized fight with Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I saw a different side of Rosie and I guess a side that not all of us saw in her during the Rosie O’ Donnell show.

Google Trends displayed “queen latifah comes out” this morning as number 6 in the highly searched phrase. Why?
As Proposition 8 gets overturned, Queen Latifah was photographed hugging alleged partner Jeanette Jenkins in Europe while on vacation. RadarOnline reports that the couple were on a yacht with Alicia Keys and her husband.
This is perfect timing if the rumor is true. Another ally. Way to go Queen Latifah!

Willie Revillame: The Press Conference
This was the presscon that ABS-CBN issued a statement on. Willie Revillame’s contract cannot be rescinded as ABS-CBN claims that they are the aggrieved party. He insisted that an offer made to him by Ms. Tan to replace the show Wowowee with a one-hour-a-week pre-taped (and not live) show, he declined. He said as far as he knew, his contract was for a daily show until September 2011.
I’m wondering where this will amount to in the end. ABS-CBN is not releasing Willie from the contract and Willie insists that he has ended his relationship with ABS-CBN. This could be a long, drawn out process… read on.

Is Willie Revillame’s Wall of Success Tumbling Down? ABS-CBN issues an official statement. Aray Ko!
We all know that something was up with Wowowee after the May 4th episode aired where Willie Revillame threatened ABS-CBN that he would quit unless the management fired Jobert Socaldito. However, ABS-CBN was mum about the issue as they tried to resolve the incident with Willie Revillame behind closed doors. I guess since Willie came out on a press conference stating that ABS-CBN humiliated him (Halleeerrrrr!! Seriously?), ABS-CBN was forced to issue a statement. The statement was brief, to-the-point, and extremely firm.
Here is the statement released by ABS-CBN Corporate Communications Head Bong Osorio on Willie Revillame’s press conference regarding his resolve to be released from his contract to the Kapamilya Network:
We take note of Willie Revillame’s pronouncements in his press conference today.
Willie is bound to ABS-CBN by a contract until September 2011. He violated the behavioral provisions of his contract when he threatened the ABS-CBN management during the May 4, 2010 episode of Wowowee, with a resignation if management does not fire another artist of the network. His behavior was generally seen as a display of disrespect and arrogance, completely unacceptable to the Filipino public.
As the one who violated his contract, Willie has no right to have it unilaterally invalidated. Contracts are binding agreements that must be respected by the contracting parties involved. The one who violates the contract cannot be allowed to dictate whether it should continue or end. Otherwise, contracts will have no value and may be terminated based on whim.
ABS-CBN is the aggrieved party, and as such, is the only one that can decide to end the agreement.
Despite all that had happened, ABS-CBN was willing to continue with the contract. Willie however, refused to take responsibility for his actions.
ABS-CBN wishes to reiterate that it will hold Willie to his obligations under the contract which expires September 2011.

I saw this on Extra and an exclusive of Lady Gaga’s photos for Vanity Fair. The pictures were awesome and let me tell you, not only did the pictures look great but her interview was quite interesting as well.
According to her interview with Vanity Fair, Lady Gaga said, “I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina.”

Proposition 8 Overturned – Chuva and other Celebrities Celebrate
Using many of the social media sites, celebrities showed their jubilant reaction where Proposition 8 (PROP 
was overturned and considered unconstitutional. On August 4, 2010, U.S. District Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker overturned Proposition 8 with a temporary stay to allow suspension of the ruling pending appeal.
Twitter being famous and mostly used by celebrities was the main medium tapped to spread the word.
Among the many celebrities, Ricky Martin (who came out back in March) tweeted: “YEAHHHHH!!!!! #PROP8UNCONSTITUTIONAL MOVING FORWARD!!!!!!!!”
