Google Doodle shows the Flintstones in celebration of its 50th Year
One of my favorite shows while growing up is The Flintstones. The famous “Yabba-dabba-doo!!” is something that kids from generation to generation can recognize.
The reason for Google’s Doodle showing the Flintstones is because it is the 50th Anniversary of it’s first showing on September 30, 1960. Funny how time flies huh?
Congratulations to The Flintstones for surviving 50 wonderful years.. and surely for many many more years to come.

NO GO! October 10, 2010 Willie Revillame’s TV5 Show Willing Willie postponed
It’s not totally bad news. Although it’s not totally good news either. The highly-publicized show to be launched by Willie Revillame on TV5 was set to go live on October 10, 2010. They are now saying that the live show will air sometime in the third week of October according to sources.
Hmmm.. what could be holding up the go-live schedule? Sources states that it will cost TV5 P71 million pesos per month just to maintain the show. They also stated that even though the show will not go live on October 10th, all staff will be paid regardless.

Without hearing the real story, we couldn’t really understand why Toni Gonzaga would be so upset with Mariel Rodriguez. We can only speculate that Toni might have provided some sound advice for Mariel regarding her newfound relationship with Robin Padilla and maybe Mariel ignored her friend’s plea which started the rift between the two. What could be the real story? Could it be because of Robin Padilla? Does Toni not think Robin will be good for her friend Mariel?

No, it’s not Pauly D and it’s not Mike “The Situation” either. It’s the unknown (and I say that word very lightly) Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi Sweetheart Giancola. Yup, never heard of them.
Anyway, according to “The Daily Fix” these two made a sex tape and lost it. Duh! And although we know the whole story about “lost or stolen sex tapes”, you know that it will surface really soon. So, keep an eye out for it.

A recent interview with the model prompted a reader to write in and send a blind item chika to yours truly.
According to our source, the said model told “Balitang Amerika” that she was chosen and picked from the crowd to become the next Carnival Queen of Sao Paulo, Brazil’s carnival. That is “according to her”.
But according to our source, she actually paid a lot of money to be featured as Carnival Queen of the famous festival. People she knew in Brazil had to pull strings on her behalf in order to get her to reign as that year’s Carnival Queen. And the chika is, it took her a while to pay. Hmmmm.. Chika yan!! If you’re pinoy and you’ve been to Brazil, you might have heard her story already. Not pretty… according to our source.

Chuvahotness #30 – Lone Star’s James Wolk
Rounding out the new shows on Mondays at 9:00 is FOX’s Lone Star, a soapy show following the double (triple?) life of a con-man. James Wolk plays Bob Allen, the aforementioned con-man, who has a wife in Houston and a girlfriend in Midland, TX. In each of these lives he is working cons against the locals, all seemingly under the tutelage of his con-man mentor and father, played by David Keith.
I had fun watching the episode last night. The plot is cool and the story is just getting better. Another favorite actor of mine is Bryce JohnsonHarry and Max and Bring it On Again (). I will feature him as one of our Chuvahotness hunks as well.
Anyway, watching James Wolk last night was refreshing. He’s got the acting ability to pull off a nice guy with a bad past. I will continue to watch the show until it’s cancelled (hope not!). My mistake is posting my status on Facebook as “My new favorite show: Lone Star” – - and a friend responded… “Because the guy is hot?? 
” OF COURSE!! But, my co-workers and family are friends on Facebook so I had to say, “No, because the plot is good!” , then delete the status. Hmmmm.

Eagles’ Michael Vick a Star again? What do you think?
Philadelphia Eagles’ Quarterback Michael Vick is all over the news and newspaper this morning. He did a stellar performance that was too hard to ignore not only by loyal fans but the whole country.
If you remember back in 2007, Michael Vick was suspended indefinitely without pay by the NFL because of his connection to the Bad Newz Kennels dog fighting operation. He was imprisoned after pleading guilty. Last year on August 2009, Vick signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles which contained a team option for the 2010 season worth $5 Million dollars.

Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez are all over the place.
A few hours after ABS-CBN’s showbiz talk show Entertainment Live aired Mariel’s interview—in which she publicly announced that a church wedding with Robin might happen before the year ends—the much talked about couple were at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last night, September 25, to grace Dutdutan X.
Dutdutan X: A Decade of Artistic Ink is an annual gathering of tattoo artists and skin art enthusiasts. Now on its tenth year, the event has continuously attracted a growing following of both local and foreign aficionados. Okay. Whatever happened to being jailed without bail. Lindsay Lohan got out of Lynwood Correctional Facility after posting a $300,000 bail. The new judge reversed the previous judge’s decision and allowed Lindsay to get out of jail if she paid the $300K bail.
If she was a regular person (with no money to bail out of jail) what do you think would have been that person’s fate by now? Not FREE and roaming around to violate his/her probation.

If you’ve been to Brazil or you’ve made friends with Brazilians – more than likely, you have opened an Orkut account. Orkut is Google’s social networking site which became popular in Brazil. It’s just like Friendster made it big in the Philippines, Orkut made it big in Brazil.
Lagot na! Willie Revillame requested to be summoned to confirm if he signed a contract with TV5
This is the war I am talking about. There is nothing that Willie Revillame can do at this time until he clears up everything with ABS-CBN. He signed a contract until 2011 – how clear is that? Instead, he continues to tout ABS-CBN continuing with the promotion of his upcoming show Willing Willie. If he hasn’t completed his contract with ABS-CBN, he cannot forcefully sign another contract with another network. ABS-CBN has been around longer than Willie has been a star – - they know the ropes.
$486 M pesos is a lot of money. And I don’t believe Willie can even repay it in liquid cash if he loses the case. So, if I were him – I’d stop the bull and talk with ABS-CBN for an amiable resolution.

Okay detractors! What do you have to say about this one now? Charice just made it to Billboard.com’s “21 Under 21” list together with Taylor Swift (taking the top spot), Justin Bieber (2nd place) – - coming at NUMBER 4 is Charice who recently made her debut on “Glee” as the meek and shy Filipino exchange student, Sunshine Corazon. Charice even beat Miley Cyrus… Ha!
So, to those who did not believe and to those who did – Charice is well on her way. Let’s wish her well and all I can say is… GO GO GO!!
Lindsay Lohan is back in Jail. The girl just doesn’t get it.
What would it take for Lindsay Lohan to get the message that this is not for anybody else’s good but hers. Everybody is fearing the worst with Lindsay.
She is now back in jail after failing a random drug testing that she admitted as a “setback” on her Twitter account. She was ordered by the judge to go back to jail and this time, there’s no getting out early. (or so they say).
If she doesn’t straighten out, I’m afraid we’re looking at another Marilyn Monroe or Anna Nicole Smith.
She is now going to spend 28 days in jail until her hearing on Oct. 22nd.

I love horror movies and since Fall is here and we’re anticipating Halloween, this movie is perfect timing for the ever-so-fast-changing weather here in my corner of the world. These are the times when seeing a horror flick in theaters are more fun.
Renee Zellweger plays the role of a social worker who removes 10-year old Lilith from an abusive home when she discovers that it may not be the parents who are abusing the child. She stars with the ever-sexy Bradley Cooper in the film.
Watch the trailer below… it looks like it’s my type of film.
The film has been shown internationally since 2009, I wonder why it’s being released last in the US. The movie will be in theaters on October 1st.
Madonna and daughter Lourdes launches “Material Girl” clothing line.

Amazing. This mother and daughter pair surely are a team. Lourdes collaborated with her mom – the pop and fashion icon Madonna - in creating a new clothing line and launched it at Macy’s in New York’s Herald Square.
In an interview, Lola (Lourdes) actually spoke with Access Hollywood while on the “pink carpet”. She was asked many questions including whether she raids her mom’s closet for clothes or not. She admitted to it and even said that she loves Madonna’s shoes
Watch out for Lourdes. She is going to be a fashion mogul.
The designs and accessories of the new clothing line resembles Madonna’s outfits from the eighties. Remember, fashion is a cycle…. it’s all coming back!

It’s good to never say never. Bishop Eddie Long cell phone photos released.
It’s been going on for a week now. Bishop Eddie Long, being accused by three of his male church members of allegedly coercing them into having sex with the pastor. The pastor has categorically denied the allegations but it continues to bubble up with controversies.
The pastor is know for preaching against homosexuality. He has transferred all responses to inquiries to his lawyers.
But photos of the pastor from his cell phone to the plaintiffs were released showing the pastor wearing muscle shirts and spandex shorts in his bathroom.
Nothing explicit with the photos and could not prove anything in court. However, maybe more things will surface.

Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg worth $6.9 Billion Dollars. Surpassed Apple’s Steve Jobs?
Forbes Magazine ranked Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, thirty-fifth on the list of richest Americans with a net worth of $6.9 billion dollars. Apple’s Steve Jobs ranks forty-second on the list with an estimated net worth of $6.1 billion dollars.
I wonder how it feels like to be 26-years old and filthy rich?! One thing successful men and women do is give to charity. According to The Wall Street Journal, Zuckerberg will be giving $100 million dollars to the Newark Public School system (ironic isn’t it?). According to WSJ, Newark Public School ranks lowest in the country with only 50% of its 40,000 students graduate high school.
Way to go! One day, I want to be like you! 
In the meantime, the movie about the founding of Facebook entitled “The Social Network” will hit theaters October 1st.
