Michael Douglas – Stage 4 Throat Cancer
It’s always a sad thing whenever we hear the word “cancer” associated with anything. When I first heard the Michael Douglas has throat cancer, I was already saddened. I have known too many people who has had and have cancer. Many of them (thank GOD!!) survived it and are under remission now. Although a few of them succumbed to the disease as well.
Stages of cancer varies and the dreadful word we hear is Stage 4. Once I heard that Michael Douglas has Stage 4 throat cancer, I was immediately worried. The 65-year old actor who is married to Catherine Zeta-Jones talked about his diagnosis on David Letterman last night. He is an ex-smoker and usually when we hear the word Stage 4, it means that the cancer has metastasize (spread) beyond the original tumor.
According to his doctors, there is good news. Michael Douglas has a chance of full recovery. He will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment for eight weeks and therefore have canceled all scheduled appearances in the next two months.
We wish Michael Douglas well and are hoping and praying for his full and speedy recovery.

I hope he can recover quickly, because he is one of my favorite celebrity.
I am just trying to get a message to Michael Douglas..didn’t realize it would be so difficult…first time I have ever done anything like this..but…I just got over thyroid cancer…you can beat this thing…just think positive…God be with you and bless you…
Douglas’s most recent film, the Oliver Stone-directed “The Money Never Sleeps,” is due to hit movie theaters in the United States later this month. It is the sequel to the 1987 box office hit “Wall Street” where his performance earned him an Oscar for Best Actor.
