We’ve had enough already!!! No More Snow!!
If only I could protest to stop the storm headed our way again this week, I would. CNN.com is reporting a major winter storm to hit the Central US including Chicago and Milwaukee all the way to Indiana.
Chicago and Milwaukee are expected to be particularly affected as the week progresses. The weather service issued a storm warning for Tuesday and Wednesday for southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana. Forecasters said snowfall totals could reach up to 2 meters in some areas.
“This storm could be one of the top 10 biggest snowstorms ever in the city,” said CNN meteorologist Sean Morris.

This photo I took was taken when I went home to visit the Philippines in 2009. Improvements Work On-Going – Sorry for the Inconvenience, it said at Ninoy Aquino International Airport. I was really glad to see the signs and cordoned-off sections where they are “supposedly renovating”.
It is now 2011. Last year, back in August, Noynoy Aquino said that NAIA Terminal 3 was going to be used as Manila’s International Airport by last December. I wonder if that ever happened.
I just read Chuvaness’ last post about Major General Jose Honrado’s (MIAA General Manager) response to complaints about our International Airport and was just as disappointed that the response came very short of real changes or promise of renovations to our airport.

They are fixing the restrooms 1 set every 25 days. They have repaired 4 sets at the arrival area in several months.
That is simply disappointing. With the almost P18 Billion Pesos that they receive from travelers that walk through the airport every year, that is simply not acceptable. I understand that security comes first and that security requires more premium from the income that the airport generates, it’s still mind-boggling how slow the progress is.

If you have ever witnessed an exorcism in your lifetime, this movie will not only make it a reality for you once again but it will surely make you believe that both God and evil exists.
I have witnessed an exorcism personally and have worked with people who have performed exorcisms. The movie was inspired by true stories. Although I have never seen someone being exorcised looked the way Anthony Hopkins looked in this movie or any of the subjects for that matter, I have seen them act very close. The accounts of these stories are so real that you have to say that a whole lot of research went into making the movie. Things such as “Don’t look into their eyes.” or “subjects react negatively on holy objects such as a crucifix or a bible” are very real.
The Rite was number one this weekend taking in $15M knocking Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman‘s rom-com No Strings Attached to number two with $13.6M.

Kim Kardashian once posed for Playboy. This time, she posed for W Magazine and during one of the episodes of Kourtney & Kim Take New York which aired on Sunday, Kim cried to Kourtney because she felt like the result of the photo shoot result was “full-on porn”.
She continued to say:
“I feel so taken advantage of,” she sobbed to her sisters. “I’ve definitely learned my lesson. I’m never taking my clothes off again, even if it’s for Vogue.”

Hey. Not bad! I always thought that no one could ever replace Christopher Reeve as Superman and I still think I’m right. There are exceptions though and by exceptions, I don’t mean that they are replacing our ultimate Superman but they are nice to look at.
One for the team! Jonathan Knight finally admits he’s gay – publicly.
Jonathan Knight was right. He never hid his homosexuality from the public and like many of you, I also knew way back when. Jonathan issued a statement through the band’s website and he nailed it:
“I have never been outed by anyone but myself! I did so almost twenty years ago. I never knew that I would have to do it all over again publicly just because I reunited with NKOTB! I have lived my life very openly and have never hidden the fact that I am gay! Apparently the pre requisite to being a gay public figure is to appear on the cover of a magazine with the caption ‘I am gay’. I apologize for not doing so if this is what was expected! My belief is that you live your life by example, and not by a caption on a magazine! If there ever has been any confusion about my sexuality, then you are someone that doesn’t even know me!

With all the snow that we’ve been getting and the freezing cold weather, it would at least be nicer if we had GLEE on TV right now. But of course, we all have to wait and it’s killing me.
Glee’s Darren Criss said that the special Super Bowl night episode is going to be so good. “The first 10 minutes are insane,” the Glee star said during the Golden Globes. That statement just made me want Glee more!!

I am so grateful that Arts & Culture is thriving in the Philippines. I was lucky that I was introduced to broadway musicals early in life and I have loved it ever since I saw my first musical on Broadway in New York City, Les Miserables. This is the first time that KC Concepcion has actually admitted publicly that she is in a relationship. She acknowledged Piolo Pascual‘s revelation and the Princess said that she was grateful for PJ “for being honest”.
According to reports, the couple spoke after Piolo Pascual admitted that he and KC have been in a relationship since last October. KC Concepcion was taken by surprise but was not regretful that it is finally out in public.

It was an explosive release by none other than super hunk, Piolo Pascual admitting to Charlene Gonzales on The Buzz that he is in a relationship with Megadaughter KC Concepcion.

The reason why I never admitted naman or not elaborate it because may pinoprotektahan ako. You know how it is, I have a son na hindi mo makasama. Ayaw mong mapariwara ‘yung bata, ayaw mong magkaron ng ibang reaction kasi bata ‘yun, he’s only 13 years old. But I think I decided at this point na kung ano man ang magiging reaction ng anak ko from here, we just have to deal with it.
This is why I wish I lived in the Philippines. I miss a lot of events.
I receive many invitations to events and press conferences in the Philippines most specially those related to Arts and Culture, including movie premieres and the like. I have been invited to so many and have missed all of them just because I am a US-based blogger.
I wonder what it would have been like if I had been able to attend any of the movie premieres I had been invited to? What would it be like to be able to interview the cast and have pictures taken with them? I would probably never know.
CBS Puts Two and a Half Men on Hiatus, Charlie Sheen voluntarily enters rehab.
Everybody was hoping for this. I am glad that Charlie Sheen has finally taken the initial step to take control of his life. Hopefully, this will put his spiral downturn to a halt and kudos to CBS as well for listening to the cry of Charlie Sheen’s fellow celebrities and news commentators by putting the popular TV show Two and a Half Men on hiatus so Charlie can get help.
Charlie Sheen has children. Very young children that are probably old enough to know that their dad is doing crazy things. They may not understand why but they do know. What they see may affect them in the long run.
Bruno Mars Will Plead Guilty On Cocaine Posession Charges
Eonline.com reports that Bruno Mars, who was charged with cocaine posession in Las Vegas back in September of 2010 will plead guilty during the hearing scheduled on February 4th to avoid jail time. The “Billionaire” and “Just the Way You Are” hit man will instead get one year of probation plus 200 hours of community service in exchange for pleading guilty.
What is wrong with celebrities these days? Is it because of the overflowing amount of cash coming in too soon and they don’t know how to handle it? Or is it because they know they can get away with it?
We’ve had the Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen and Paris Hilton issues and most of them have gotten away with just a slap on the wrist. If these were regular people, they would have faced jail time sooner. Do you think it’s fair?

Poor Jennifer Aniston. She is always bears the brunt of false rumors and allegations. Star Magazine’s issue this week placed Jennifer on the cover stating that she is adopting a baby from Mexico, that the Adoption papers are signed and sealed, that an Orphanage official has talked to Star, and that she’s using Courney’s nanny to help take care of the baby.

I remember the exact moment that the Challenger exploded. I was working at a 7-11 and didn’t know exactly that the Challenger had exploded during lift off. The somber faces of the people walking in the store can be felt so much that I had to ask one of the customers why. Then, when I was told that the Challenger had exploded, I couldn’t help but be somber as well.
It was a high-profile launch because of Christa McCauliffe – the first teacher who was to go into space. And when the news broke, the whole country was saddened. When I got home that night, CNN and all the news channels were playing the video over and over again showing the faces of the people who were watching the launch live and how they all reacted when it exploded. Children were there to watch the launch as well and all public schools were tuned into the television for school children to witness the event.

I love them both as people and as actors. I think James Franco is very sexy and Anne Hathaway is simply beautiful.

American Idol: Was Chris Medina’s performance exploitative or touching? (VIDEO)

Not sure if you watched the American Idol Milwaukee auditions. The standout performances includes that of 26-year old Chris Medina with his girlfriend Juliana Ramos who had been injured in a car accident that left her with a brain injury two months before they were to take their vows in marriage. After the accident, Juliana’s mother and Chris were left to care for his girlfriend.
“What kind of guy would I be if I walked out when she needed me the most?”, Chris stated.
Many supported him and was wowed by his performance saying that it was the most heart-wrenching performance. Some are saying that the cause for him to join American Idol was exploitative, using the tragedy to make it through.

Daniel Matsunaga’s CCTV Scandal is not a Scandal – it’s a Promo for VEET.
Like what I said when this video first came out, it’s a “viral advertising” promo. Brazilian-Japanese Model/Actor Daniel Matsunaga was allegedly caught on video getting into an elevator and starts kissing a girl and she’s not Heart Evangelista. The couple was asked about the video and both Daniel and Heart confirmed that the video was indeed for a promo for VEET.
“Daniel Matsunaga & Heart Evangelista confirmed elevator video is a viral material for Veet. It will be announced tomorrow (Thursday) thru an ad. Hehe” Geronimo tweeted.
Hey, Daniel would be very stupid to do such a thing if you ask me and would be ostracized by their fans if ever it was true. He’s at the beginning of his career and doing something like that would surely take him down a notch.

According to Access Hollywood, during an interview of Kim and Khloe Kardashian at “Piers Morgan Tonight” scheduled to air on Thursday, Kim Kardashian was asked how much she is worth. She responded that she gives to charity. She did purchase a $115,000 dollar watch recently and her sister said that the purchase was “vulgar”. I’m sure it’s a drop in the bucket for Kim and I know why.

As a gay person, I’ve read many magazines such as The Advocate and Out Magazine. I’ve seen transitions similar to what Chaz Bono had to go through and I am no longer shocked seeing someone who was formerly a woman and have become a man, shirtless.

I love James Franco and he is indeed one of the great actors today. I admire his openness, his admitting to be very sexual and all those homoerotic photos and videos that he made.
He has played many roles and to think that he’s only been around a short time. I would love to see him in a sex tape but usually those sex tapes are shady, dark and in very very bad quality. I might as well watch him in “Howl” where he plays a gay man.
This is what he had to say about a sex tape he made in his teens:

Another snow storm is about to hit the East Coast. Don’t get me wrong – I like snow and I like cold weather, but this is getting on my last nerve. We know that spring is around the corner and it just seems like these storms are making us want spring to come even sooner.
We had a blizzard right after Christmas, then another storm hit in early January. The weather has been freezing cold during the last week that walking my dog felt like a chore. And now this.
People are tired of it and if you watch the video below, you can tell – we just want spring to arrive!

Carnivorous Monitor Lizard Terrifies Residents in Riverside, California
What would you do if you are gardening in your backyard and among the bushes, some monster-like creature comes out which is 5-feet long? You would probably jump back and pee your pants! Ha-ha!
Animal Services in California received a call about a “creature” walking around a condominium complex in Riverside, CA. Normally, they expect to see a little iguana that got out of its cage. The Animal Services handler was so shocked when she found the lizard and almost jumped back to her truck. The carnivorous monitor lizard was five feet long! Yikes!!!
I have a friend who can’t stand the sight of snakes. It doesn’t matter if it’s a photo or a movie – he will not look at it. One time, at a Halloween party – there were rubber snakes for decor. I took one and tried to scare the heck out of him. He threatened to leave the party if I got any closer to him. I felt bad so I didn’t get any closer to him. It’s a rubber snake for crying out loud. But I guess to someone with a phobia like that, real or fake doesn’t really matter.
