Lady Gaga on copying Express Yourself with “Born This Way”
Lady Gaga wants to nip the rumors in the bud before it gets out of hand. When her single “Born This Way” became a viral sensation last Friday with #BornThisWayFriday, many critics have posted on their blogs that the song is a copycat of the original song by Madonna, Express Yourself. The Material Girl responded by uploading the video of Express Yourself on her Youtube Channel.
When Born This Way was performed at the Grammy’s, the comparison became even louder and during Lady Gaga’s acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album, she thanked Whitney Houston instead of Madonna.
“I need to say thank you tonight to Whitney Houston,” she wobbled during her teary speech. “I wanted to thank Whitney, because when I wrote ‘Born this Way,’ I imagined she was singing it – because I wasn’t secure enough in myself to imagine I was a superstar. So, Whitney, I imagined you were singing ‘Born This Way’ when I wrote it.”
More fans of The Material Girl became outraged and the charge even became louder. Lady Gaga was forced to address the issue on Jay Leno and this is what she said:

Russian Model Irina Shayk Revealed as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011 Cover (VIDEO)
I was driving to work this morning and I heard on the radio that the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011 cover was revealed on Letterman. One of the female commentator on the station said ‘she was hurting under’ when she saw the Russian model, Irina Shayk on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She said that, “[Irina Shayk] is stupid gorgeous and I envy her.”
Irina Shayk is a Russian model who is dating football hunk superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. If you remember, Cristiano Ronaldo is also a model for Armani. Irina has appeared 10 times on the SI Swimsuit issue but it is her first time on the cover.
Super hot if you ask me.

CBS Reporter Serene Branson’s muddled words may have been due to stroke.
The CBS Reporter Serene Branson was reporting live from Los Angeles right after the Grammy Awards. Many people watched her clip and had more concerns than just simple reporting fail.
The warning signs of slurring and flubbed-lines during her reporting was going to be the next viral video if indeed it wasn’t because of a serious medical emergency that was suspected. According the the Telegraph, she was taken to the hospital right after for a check up.
Difficulty in speaking and fumbling words can be signs of a stroke. She may have suffered a stroke while reporting live.

Darren Criss seems to have been hitting the gym lately. Photos from Out Magazine proves it.
Darren Criss is one of my ex-husbands… haha! I am sure that we will be reconciling soon after his photo spread on Out Magazine came out. Whew!! Is it hot in here?
If you remember, we found only one photo of a shirtless Darren Criss and he looked kind of puny in that cell-phone-slash-webcam-shot. But not anymore! He’s totally hot as I have always imagined him with super abs to die for. I’m glad I kept my subscription to Out Magazine.
His interview with Out Magazine was good and he speaks very well. I like his tone and his responses. It was a great article and one line jumped at me from the write-up because it is Valentine’s Day and I don’t have a Valentine this year. Here’s a part of the write-up:

Shorty Awards Finalists/Winners to be announced Tuesday, February 15th
Angel Locsin stayed on top in the #actress category (with a total of 1201 votes) for the Shorty Awards proving Angel has many loyal fans who voted for her properly. Chasters however didn’t support much of their idol Charice who remained at number 12 under the #music category. Well, I shouldn’t say “didn’t support” because they did support her but the competition is quite tough under that category.
Finalists will be announced after further review by the board on February 15th. This is what was posted on their website:
Finalists for this category will be announced on Tuesday, February 15 after we do a final audit of the votes.
The Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences will use a combination of criteria to select the winner from among the finalists, including the number of votes, the reasons given in nominations, answers to the Shorty Interview (which you can still take here) and the content of the finalists’ tweets.
I guess we will have to wait and see for the announcement tomorrow! Cross your fingers folks. Angel Locsin may be traveling to New York soon to accept her award. The awards ceremony will take place March 28, 2011 in New York City.

Prince Harry parties in gay bar in SOHO- UK Mirror Reports
Can’t help but love him. I love Prince Harry and the whole package that goes with it. It was just announced as well that he will be the best man for Prince William’s wedding! Woohoo!
We need straight men like him who don’t feel threatened going to a gay bar. I have straight friends like him and they party like every one of us and they have a great time without worrying if they’re going to get hit on or not.
We as gay men should respect these straight guys who come and support us by respecting them as well. Apparently, he was at a gay bar to help celebrate a female friend’s birthday. Eveybody say, Awwwwww!!
