Never A Dull Moment In Daytona: Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing Opens The 2011 NASCAR Season
The opening exhibition race of 2011 took on a new look. The race at Daytona featured a unique 2 car drafting system and plenty of drama. Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing was able to put up a 3rd place finish on the back of Ryan Newman’s stellar performance; it looks like Newman is going to continue his strong finish from 2010. The co-owner of Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing won the pole position and relayed that start into an 11th place finish. If this race were for the leader boards, Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing would have racked up plenty of points.
Below The Yellow Line – A Controversial Win
Denny Hamlin grabbed the lead on the final lap and appeared to win the race. However, in doing so, he had passed below the yellow line. This pushed Kurt Busch into first since Hamlin earned a penalty. This put McMurray in second and Ryan Newman in third, while Johnson and Biffle finished in fourth and fifth. Rounding out the top 10 was Gordon, Harvick, Burton, Bowyer, and Labonte. Smoke finished at a respectable 11th place while Hamlin was relegated to 12th by virtue of crossing the double yellow out of bounds line.
Still, Hamlin argued that he made the disqualifying move to avoid causing a crash with Newman’s car. Thankfully, no crash did occur and the overall standings did not change since the annual NASCAR kickoff is an exhibition race. It’s easy to imagine that both Gene Haas and Tony Stewart were happy to have both their car and their driver finish the race intact.

It is a time for Christians to fast and pray, recollect what they’ve done with their lives and how to improve their relationship with God.
It is normally observed with fasting in mind, since it is a holy day after all. The question is, what are the rules?
According to the U.S. bishops, these are the following requirements and rules for fasting on Ash Wednesday:
Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 are required to fast on Ash Wednesday, as well as Good Friday, but this does not mean no food at all.

Photo Scandal: Naked Photo of Chris Brown Surfaces Online (Photos)
It is not very often that you get scandal after scandal before you release an album. For Chris Brown however, that is just the case. And how many times have I warned anyone to not send any photos of themselves naked to anyone?
Two photos appeared online this week. One was a photo of Chris Brown with a cut lip published by MediaTakeout.com apparently taken after the much-publicized argument between him and ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Then, a photo of Chris Brown, blonde and nude with a lot of tattoos surfaced online right after it. It was published on worldstarhiphop.com. Rumor has it that it was released to distract people from the first photo that would remind his fans about the beating that Rihanna took from him.
According to Chris Brown, it was a photo sent to an ex-girlfriend and that it was released without his permission. Chris Brown’s album is scheduled for release on March 22nd.

Charlie Sheen Gets Fired. Rob Lowe Gets Hired on ‘Two and a Half Men’??
This is all too familiar. It happened to Willie Revillame and I have no doubt it will happen to Charlie Sheen as well. They could both be replaced. Once a person gets on a high-horse and think that whatever they do doesn’t matter because they are KING and they make all this money for a certain network that they are irreplaceable. Well, think again.
TMZ.com have reports that Rob Lowe is being courted to take on Charlie Sheen’s role on Two and a Half Men. According to the report, Chuck Lorre intends to continue producing the show and are in closed-door talks with Rob Lowe’s agent. However, there are two hindrances… Rob Lowe is currently in Parks and Recreation – - – and he grew up with the Sheen Family… yikes!!
So, we shall see.
I also heard that Charlie Sheen’s contract with the network is similar to Michael J. Fox’s contract when he was doing Spin City. That even though he was no longer part of the cast, as long as the show continues to be produced – - he gets royalty! How true is that, I wonder?

I am not scheduled to travel to Sao Paulo until the last week of May. I am so itching though because I have never been to the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Get this! I love Subway and I love McDonald’s too. But in ways of eating healthier, I would choose Subway over McDonald’s.
McDonald’s used to be the largest resto chain until last year when Subway had 33,749 restaurants as opposed to McDonald’s 32,737.
In terms of revenue however, McDonald’s is still king with a reported 24 billion dollar revenue last year as opposed to 15.2 billion for Subway. But that is still a great feat!
How did Subway achieve its great success in the restaurant chain market?
Subway has achieved its rapid growth, in part, by opening outlets in non-traditional locations such as an automobile showroom in California, an appliance store in Brazil, a ferry terminal in Seattle, a riverboat in Germany, a zoo in Taiwan, a Goodwill store in South Carolina, a high school in Detroit and a church in Buffalo, New York.

Designer of Kate Middleton’s Wedding Dress Revealed?
I am one of you people! I am waiting patiently for the revelation of the designer who is going to grab the opportunity to design and make the wedding dress for Kate Middleton, the princess-to-be-and-would-be-future-queen to Prince William.
So far, the name of Sara Burton – designer for Steve McQueen was revealed to have snagged the covetous role of designing her wedding dress. However, it was denied by the camp stating that the assumption was untrue.

While the London’s Sunday Times reported this weekend that Alexander McQueen creative director, Sarah Burton, has won the high profile gig, there is also word coming out of the McQueen camp that this is simply untrue.
