I’m so excited! Azkals made it to the AFC Challenge Cup Finals after beating Bangladesh. Phil Younghusband, Anton del Rosario and Neil Etheridge were providing snippets on Twitter as the game was progressing, all the way to the win.
Now that it is official that Filipinos are in love with football, initiatives to help our team succeed should follow. Many Filipinos around the globe support the Philippine Azkals.

MANILA, Philippines – Needing a performance worthy of their reputation, the Philippine Azkals stood up and delivered.
The national football team, its back against the wall, demolished Bangladesh, 3-0, as it etched another historic mark in the Asian Football Confederation Challenge Cup group stage qualifying last night at the Aung San Stadium in Rangoon, Myanmar.
Before a tiny group of flag-waving Filipino fans, Ian Araneta ended his scoring slump with an ice breaker before Filipino-Spanish standout Angel Aldeguer Guirado struck twice in the second half as the Filipinos advanced to the finals of the prestigious tournament for the first time since its establishment in 2006.

The purpose of Earth Hour (at least for me) is to create awareness. Awareness to save energy, awareness to turn of power when not in use, conserve fuel and sot forth. Earth Hour for me has become a reminder every year whether I am doing my best to change my lifestyle in helping to have a better world by fighting climate change. Later on, a broken window from Chris Brown’s dressing room was found to be broken, allegedly smashed with using a chair though no one has confirmed who did it.

I have many straight guy friends. These friends are people I go out with, eat lunch with, joke around with and most of all – they don’t really care about my sexuality. They know that we don’t cross the line. They accept me for who I am and I accept them for who they are. That’s just that.

The legendary actress has died today at the age of 79. Celebrities and regular people alike have flooded Twitter with their messages of sadness because of the actress’ passing. A pioneer in raising awareness for AIDS research, she was a sincere ally to gays all over the world.

I’ve done that many times and it takes a real review of our lives to turn something evil in us into something good. We thought Chris Brown had done that but has he?
According to TMZ, when Chris Brown was interviewed on Good Morning America by Robin Roberts, she brought up the domestic violence case. Although he didn’t react violently when the question was asked, reports say that he got to his dressing room and threw a rage so bad that he threw a chair that broke one of the windows.

“I’m so over people bringing this past shit up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bullshit”
The tweet was later deleted.

Charlie Sheen just keeps on winning. He paid a surprise visit to Jimmy Kimmel and got the crowd pumped up as he distributed t-shirts to the audience with his now-famous-quotes like #Winning, and #Tigerblood.
What was surprising about the visit was when he kissed Jimmy Kimmel on the lips and said that he’s got “very moist lips”.
How can you not like Charlie Sheen? He’s classic!

If you think I’m already obsessing on the latest Royal Couple, you are absolutely right! The upcoming wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is on my list and we’re going to have a viewing party at my house.
Before the big wedding on April 29, 2011, there will be another important TV movie I would love to see. Lifetime’s William & Kate airing on April 18. It is supposed to be the story on how the two met and how their love for each other blossomed. I’m a sucker for fairy tales although I don’t really believe in TRUE LOVE – PERIOD.

This coming summer, 9 Works Theatrical, one of the country’s leading theater companies and makers of RENT, Songs For a New World, The Wedding Singer, and RENT 2011, in cooperation with The Rockwell Club, launches Stage Camp, an intensive summer theater workshop where anyone from kids, teens, and adults can learn how to sing, dance, and act.
Running for a total of six weeks at The Loft @ Manansala Tower, Rockwell Center, Makati with a break during Holy Week, Stage Camp is the perfect avenue for anyone to unleash his or her rock star potential in performing, make new friends, and have insanely good fun in the process.
Classes will begin on April 11, with each class having a culminating showcase at the end of a six-week workshop and rehearsal period on either May 28 or 29. Kiddie Camp will be conducted from 10am-12nn M-W-F for the first two weeks, and 10am-1pm for the last four weeks. Teens’ Camp will be held from M-F, 1pm-4pm while Adults’ Camp will be from M-F, 630pm-930pm.
The showcase will be held at the prestigious Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza, Makati where most renowned theater shows have been staged.

According to TV Line, Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) will go to the prom together.
Chris Colfer on the other hand will not confirm to Zap2It how it’s going to go down saying:
“Here’s the thing – would a school actually have two crowns waiting, just in case? I know my high school would not, just in case.”
But he did confirm that they filmed another “kiss” adding, “It was [better than the first one]. It was different.”

Apparently, Social Media’s hatred of Rebecca Black worked to her advantage. “FRIDAY” moves to top of pop chart.
The 13-year old girl from California named Rebecca Black has become the latest Youtube sensation but for another reason. Social Media was filled with hatred for Rebecca Black (called Cyberbullying if you ask me) and her song entitled Friday. After release on March 14, Rebecca Black was all over the web when her video for the same song went viral.
The name Rebecca Black was trending on Twitter for four straight days and not because many fans mention her name but many of them mention her name with negative comments about the song and how much they hate her.
Charlie Sheen even tweeted: “Rebecca Black, we don’t hate you because you’re famous. You’re famous because we hate you.”
That has not stopped the song Friday from climbing up the pop chart and the song is now available on iTunes. Simon Cowell is a fan.
Simon Cowell said:
“I love her [and] the fact that she’s gotten so much publicity. People are so upset about the song, but I think it’s hysterical.”
“I want to meet her. Anyone, who can create this much controversy within a week, I want to meet. I love people like that.”
EXCLUSIVE: CBS Wants Charlie Sheen Back and they want him NOW?
Radar Online exclusively reported that CBS are already in talks to get Charlie Sheen back to continue his now defunct TV series, Two and a Half Men.
According to the website, top executives are negotiating the deal and have already told show-creator Chuck Lorre to let CBS and Warner Bros. TV executives handle the situation and find “a solution that brings Sheen back to the show in a situation everyone can live with“.
No reports back from Charlie Sheen’s camp just yet on how this is going to go down but there is a pending $100 Million dollar lawsuit that Charlie Sheen filed just recently – not sure how’s that going to be handled as well.

April 29th Can’t Come Soon Enough. The Royal Wedding – What Kate Middleton intends to do after the wedding.
Becoming a Princess comes with responsibilities. Soon-to-be-princess, Kate Middleton is not taking her future role lightly. According to USMagazine, Kate had already met up with charitable organizations to discuss which charities she would be involved in after the wedding.
As you all know, Princess Diana was involved with a lot of charities including AIDS charities that she was personally involved with. The wonder that she did to the illness was to make it visible that it was not as contagious as what most people believed. You would see her touching an AIDS patient and comforting them. It brought a type of humanity on the Royals and that is why she was loved as the People’s Princess. Her sons, Princes Harry and William are visible with charities as well with Harry’s work in Africa and William with the homeless to name a few.
