I was watching Oprah’s Master Class the other night. It was a pre-recorded Master Class on OWN. The Master this time was Oprah herself. She talked about growing up in Mississippi during the time of segregation and how she managed to come out of all the negative things she went through (sexual abuse at 9-years old, raped, pregnant at 14-years old) and be where she is today. It’s an amazing story.
Why am I talking about Oprah on a Willing Willie (Willie Revillame) headline? A part of Oprah’s story was about the “flow”. She mentioned that in order for a person to be successful, you first have to love what you do and you have to be “in the flow”.
That means that whatever it is that we do, if something is not right – we hear a whisper. If the whisper doesn’t get our attention, it becomes louder and louder. Until such a time where it will feel like a brick had hit us in the head just so that the universe can get our attention.

Donald Trump received some harsh words from Legend Bill Cosby – “You run or shut up!”
Good for you Bill Cosby!! Donald Trump needs an awakening cause he seems like he’s living in the dream world like his Apprentice reality show.
Appearing on NBC’s Today Show with Meredith Vieira, Bill Cosby was asked about his thoughts on Donald Trump dropping many hints that he may run for president in 2012.
Bill Cosby responded:
“Oh, please, with Donald Trump, take him home with you!”
When asked by Meredith why he responded that way, he said:
“Because he’s full of it, you run or shut up.”

Remains of Lisa Gherardini del Giocondo (Mona Lisa) will be exhumed to help solve the mystery.
Who is she really? There were a lot of speculations on who really modeled for the famous Leonado Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Just as recent as two months ago that Italian researchers found initials on the pupil of the Mona Lisa painting and many of them believe that it is the initials of Salai (Gian Giacomo Capprotti), who was a very handsome man that assisted Leonardo for 25 years and have a very close (or maybe even closer) friendship with the artist.
Last year, the researches had a different theory. They thought that the Mona Lisa painting is an actual self-portrait by the renowned artist.
However, to disprove all the rumors surrounding who Mona Lisa really is, a team will exhume Lisa Gherardini’s remains who died in 1542 from the burial place believed to be the St. Orsola Convent in Florence, Italy according to her death certificate.

7.4 magnitude quake triggers tsunami warning in Japan
I was on my way to work today when I got the notice from my iPhone that a 7.4 magnitude earthquake has hit Japan and tsunami warnings have been issued.
Immediately, I went on to Twitter to tweet:
@chuva #prayforjapan. Another 7.4 mag earthquake. Tsunami warning issued. Please spare them. They’ve been through enough.
I offered a silent prayer while walking to work. When I got to work, I saw that even though the earthquake is 7.4 in magnitude , no immediate reports of damage and so far has not affected the work being done at the damaged nuclear plants (power is still on) by a powerful earthquake on March 11th.
Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Japan as they face another crisis.

Ancient remains of a transsexual unearthed in Czech Republic.
I liked the way Towleroad.com entitled their post regarding a grave that was found with ancient male remains yet positioned in a way that a female was to be buried in the Czech Republic. It was entitled “Buried This Way” which is a play with words of the title song of Lady Gaga, “Born This Way“. I figured that the title was meant to say that we’ve (LGBT) existed since the beginning of time and it is not a choice, we were born this way.
The human remains date back to 2900 – 2500 B.C. and is that of a human male yet the burial position is how a female would have been buried during that time. It is alleged that the person was a transsexual / transgendered and that the burial position was intended and not accidental.

Real Housewives’ Kelly Bensimon – Do you think she’s crazy or is it me?
I was glued to the television all of last week because of The Real Housewives of New York City marathon. I swear, I have never seen the show and have not witnessed the craziness of that show until last week.
When I started watching, I became addicted instantly. It’s the dynamics between Bethenny Frankel and Kelly Bensimon that caught my eye. I mean, I fell in love with Bethenny because I think she’s hilarious and she is very witty and smart.
When Bethenny started having these issues with Kelly, I tried to give both the benefit of the doubt. But as I continued watching, I found out how crazy Kelly is. The things that come out of her mouth are out there… way out there. And she graduated from Columbia University.
The BUZZWORD: “Prenup” – Will Kate Middleton sign a royal prenup
With the wedding of the future king, Prince William and future princess, Kate Middleton to be held within weeks, the buzzword of the moment is “prenup”.
Why? Because most of the royals were divorced including his late mother Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Princess Diana walked away with $27 Million from her divorce from Prince Charles. Prince Edward and Duchess Sara Ferguson also divorced and his uncle from Princess Diana, Charles Spencer had two ex-wives.
There is no such thing as a fairy tale ending and if Prince William is smart, he will ask for a prenup agreement.
However, his camp is not willing to disclose whether a prenup was signed by Kate Middleton. I bet you that he needs to given these facts:
William stands to gain an inheritance from the queen, whose fortune was recently estimated at around 290 million pounds ($467 million) by the Sunday Times 2010 “Rich List.” The second-in-line to the British throne also got a share of his Diana’s nearly $34 million estate — the bulk of which came from her divorce settlement, but it is believed much of his money is tied up in trusts.
Middleton comes from an well-off family herself but any agreement would need to ensure she is looked after, keeping up her homes and her standard of living, experts said. It would most likely be generous to ensure the prenup is not challenged as unfair after a divorce.
“They would want to make sure that things are done by the book to keep it out of the public arena,” said Brunsdon Tully.
A confidentiality clause also would be a must, Stewart added, noting that “the last thing this family would want” would be a scintillating interview — akin to one given by Diana just before the divorce — that exposes the royal family’s inner workings.
“Kate is joining a family known as ‘The Firm,’ and every other employee of the royal household has a contract of employment which includes a fairly severe gagging clause,” Stewart noted.

Oh no! First it was Katie Couric leaving CBS. Now,Meredith Vieira Expected To Leave ‘Today Show’
It’s one podcast I cannot live without. It’s NBC’s Today Show. I watch it faithfully on my train ride from work. The impeccable chemistry between Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira is noticeable all throughout the show and they are both fun to watch specially when they tease each other.
They have a great team on the Today Show including Al Roker, Anne Curry, and the rest. They seem like family.
The reason given by Meredith Vieira is that the hours are gruelling and grinding because you have to be up really early and that she is worried about her husband who is suffering from multiple sclerosis.
It is reported that the best person for the job is Anne Curry to replace Meredith. I love Anne Curry too and I think she would be a great co-host to Matt Lauer. She has actually filled in for Meredith many times in the past whenever Meredith is on assignment or on vacation.
Sometimes in life, you have to do what you have to do. And this is a no-brainer. Family comes first.

Awkward Royal Wedding Stamp Looks Ominous for Prince William and Kate Middleton
Sheesh! It hasn’t even happened yet and there’s already controversies around it. I’m talking about the royal wedding that is to occur weeks from now.
CBC.CA reports that a New Zealand commemorative stamp that shows a perforation between Prince William and Kate Middleton which people have called “bizarre” and “embarrassing” just because it seems to imply that the couple will break up in the future.

I would have never found this video if not for Towleroad, a blog that I read almost daily (and at times get my references to blog about). I watched the video below about what was described as a Powerful Irish Anti-Bullying Campaign. It’s a video that touched me to the core because I was once “that” teenager.
I remember the shame and the fear of being found out by my peers that I am gay. I hid almost every ounce of gayness in me just so that I could fit in. But it’s something that you can never hide. It will manifest itself whether you like it or not, whether it’s intentional or chance. And when it does happen, you can’t bear the shame or the teasing. But this video is so powerful, I wished many of my friends did it for me when I was younger.

It has been a very tumultuous three years. Many would say that President Barack Obama hasn’t done enough. But others would say, he has done a lot. Which side are you on?
I, for one will continue to support President Obama in 2012. I have a lot of admiration for him as he took the challenges of leading a country at war, in a financial mess and still is. I can’t totally blame him for that. However, he’s done more things (in my opinion) in the last three years that what I saw in the past 8 years prior to his term.

I had a feeling about this but I ignored it. If you notice on the sidebar to your right, I post movie trailers and promote them for their opening weekend just because I think it is worth watching. So far, the past three films I’ve posted became the number one hit at the box office.
I was wrong this past weekend. I originally posted “HOP” on the sidebar but changed it to “Source Code“. I actually saw the movie and really thought Source Code was going to take the cake this weekend. I believe the only reason HOP took first place is because it was set to wider audience. It’s a family film – I guess.
