She’s on a ONE NATION tour, visiting the most historic places in the United States. She was in Gettysburg, PA yesterday and the next stop will be the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. I might just see a glimpse of her (which is not a planned thing, I wouldn’t make an effort to see her anywhere) because the Liberty bell is within walking distance from me.

Way to go Snooki!! Dang. This girl knows how to meet trouble.
Apparently, TMZ.com reports that Snooki hit a parked cop car in an accident while driving around Italy. She was taken into police custody after the accident. She had Deena Cortese along with her in the vehicle including an MTV crew.
A really sick joke. Will Smith Dies in New Zealand while filming. A hoax.
In all the years that I’ve been blogging, I have encountered a lot of hoaxes and the most common and yet the most disturbing of all are the “death hoaxes”.
This month’s victim is Will Smith, with a death hoax message that went like this:

Preliminary reports from New Zealand Police officials indicate that the actor fell more than 60 feet to his death on the Kauri Cliffs while on-set. Specific details are not yet available.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. (UTC/GMT +12).

New Zealand, in recent years has grown in populariaty as a backdrop for Hollywood producers because of it’s scenic and rugged landscape. Recent movies filmed in New Zealand include The Lord Of the Rings, King Kong, and The Chronicles Of Narnia.

More for Charice’s future than Glee… Charice “As Long As You’re There” (VIDEO + Lyrics)
Receiving great accolade for her performance on Glee’s Finale, Charice delivered the song “As Long as You’re There” flawlessly. I missed the episode as I was on vacation in Rio de Janeiro so I had to find where I could watch the video and find the lyrics to the song.
I found the video of the song on HULU and I must agree, Charice delivered the song perfectly. Okay, I think she still needs a bit more of acting lessons from the masters but she doesn’t need anything when it comes to singing. She’s got that talent down.
Now, she is filming a movie in Boston according to USA Today:
Charice is in fact shooting a movie in Boston right now, Here Comes The Boom, starring Kevin James and Salma Hayek.
“Henry Winkler plays a music teacher, and Kevin James is another high school teacher who sidelines as a martial arts fighter to save the music program. I play a student. She’s a little like Sunshine; she’s a brainiac and her father wants her to go home to the Philippines to work in a restaurant.”

Forever and a Day – Starring KC Concepcion and Sam Mily by Star Cinema (Full Movie Video Trailer)
This movie is reminiscent of a movie made back in the 80s. Do you remember “Miracle of Love”? Gabby Concepcion starred in a movie where his partner was diagnosed with cancer and the irony of it all is that the actress, Roxanne who was really dying at the time the movie was filmed and Gabby Concepcion is KC Concepcion’s dad. That movie was filmed in Switzerland and Italy.
The end of the movie showed the actual funeral of Roxanne after she passed right before the movie’s opening.
A similar storyline jumps at me with this movie starring KC Concepcion and Sam Milby. But with a hot pairing like theirs, who knows?

Hangover II was throbbing this weekend! $86M in ticket sales. Woohoo!
The first three days of release of Hangover Part II was a great success, claiming number one this Memorial Weekend holiday with $105M in ticket sales.
No one can deny that the first one was such a hit, it called for a sequel. I didn’t know how they were going to make the story line work but apparently, they did it.
In The Hangover Part II, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.
This is like the modern “City Slickers” for me. Don’t you think?

Just because Pres. George Bush came from Texas and my view that Texas may be one of the most homophobic states in the nation, doesn’t mean that the majority of the people who live there are homophobes. I was surprised when I watched the segment of ABC’s “What Would You Do?” (It is a show that plays on certain real life scenarios that are controversial and examine how people react to the situation) about gay families. I didn’t expect the outcome at all. The outcome brought me to tears and in a good way.

Yup folks. Compared to iTunes, which sells the album on its first day of release for $11.99 – Amazon.com had a promotion and sold the album for only .99 cents. However, the server couldn’t handle the volume and it crashed.

After a couple of days in Sao Paulo, we are headed for Rio de Janeiro
Hello folks!! Sorry for the lack of posts. I am currently in Brazil right now, on vacation. I am still here in Sao Paulo and although I like Sao Paulo, there’s really very limited sites to see. I went to Cathedral de Se and I will post photos soon. My friends went to Ibirapuera Park, which is within walking distance from our hotel – and they said it was nice.
Anyway, we are already headed to Rio de Janeiro tomorrow. I just wanted to write about my experience with a local friend here. I was invited to a party last night and my friends were supposed to go with me but I ended up going by myself. The trip was about an hour away from where we were staying and I was going with a friend whom I recently met. I was kind of afraid to venture out but I just trusted my instincts and went with it.

I thought that it was really sexy back then. The boss who hired me looked like an International Male model and I was being interviewed by him when I noticed he wasn’t wearing any socks. I thought he was super cute and sexy that to this day, I think wearing stunning clothes, leather shoes with no socks is sexy. My co-workers thinks it’s appalling.

Donald Trump – Is NOT running for President in 2012. Figures.
Gotta give it to him. Donald Trump knows how to create controversy for publicity. He’s done it many times in his showbiz career that he’s almost become an expert on it. Ruffling the feathers of everyone including the President himself! That’s a feat!
One thing that is sure to get back to him is how people now perceive him when it comes to what he has to say. Fight with Rosie O’ Donnell? That was nothing. Both said some crazy things about each other so that was a wash. Publicity is publicity.
Sad. Adele still sounds like a victim after all her success.
I think Adele is soooo beautiful and I love her music. The success she received from her first two albums was enough testament on how great of a singer she is.
I’m a bit sad though that she still sounds like a victim. After “21″, she still says that she would have given up everything for the man who was the main reason for her album. I mean, she said that she would have given up “friendships and career” for him.

We know that they are going to be big names if ever they are to be in Oprah’s Finale Show. It’s not going to be any rinky dink actor or actress. My co-worker was listening to his morning radio station this morning and the conversation was a Good Morning America segment where it was mentioned that many women are depressed and saddened by the departure of the Oprah Show that they are consulting their psychiatrists and psychologists in order to cope.
I can understand that. I am an Oprah wanna-be. Oprah Winfrey has connected with her audience and if you do that for 25 years, it’s like losing your best girlfriend whom you spent time with half of your life! 25 years is a long time.

This is going to be my third time to visit one of the most exciting places in the world – BRAZIL.
I just can’t get enough of the country. No wonder, celebrities are flocking the country like the world is going to end. It’s just amazing to meet many wonderful and beautiful people in this friendly country.
Did you guys know that I received some gifts from the Brazil’s Department of Tourism? Yup. That was very nice of them~ ! I will be wearing the t-shirt when I get to Sao Paulo and when we go for our tour of Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf. The country is going strong financially and specifically, the city of Florianopolis has flourished amidst the financial crisis and now the favorite destination of the world’s rich and famous.
I will be taking lots of pictures so keep an eye out for my Brazilian visit posts.

It’s funny what a hairstyle can do. I almost didn’t recognize Glee’s Chord Overstreet whe he appeared on 102.7 KISS FM’s WANGO TANGO 2011.
I personally think that the 22-year old actor/singer is hotter in dark hair. He made the decision to cut the highlights in his hair – and he looks absolutely gorgeous. I’ll take him either way.

It’s a rainy SkinnyGirl Martini afternoon….
I don’t know about you all but when it’s rainy and damp outside, it’s really just nice to go under the snuggly blanket that I have on my couch, turn the TV on and watch anything that isn’t going to make my mind work. I have done that during many weekends of blah – - and today is one of them.
Over the past month or so, I discovered Real Housewives of NYC by chance and was instantly addicted to it. I became more addicted to Bethenny Frankel than anyone else in the reality TV show cast just because she is uber funny and I couldn’t get enough of her one-liners that would send me rolling on the floor.
In the process, I saw her launch an idea (making martinis that are not high in calories) and named it as Skinnygirl Martinis. But in the show’s spin-off, “Bethenny Ever After”, the season finale revealed that the idea made Bethenny Frankel enough money to be set for life. A large worldwide liquor distributor offered to partner with her business and the rest is history.
Well, tonight is the night that I’m going to taste what a Skinnygirl martini tastes like. Cold, damp weather outside – - Skinnygirl martinis might just save the day.

Traditional baby-bathing looks rough. Ouch!
I’m not expecting Johnson & Johnson to be rushing over the phone to call the person who uploaded this video of traditional bathing of a baby (not sure exactly where) and say, “We want you to be the promoter of our baby products!” Ha!
If you watch the video, you would probably think she’s trying to kill the baby by her rough handling. But obviously, she is very experienced in bathing babies and I guess this is how they do it in their part of the world.
I just don’t think it’s going to be my way of showing love to an infant while bathing him. She looks like she was treating the baby like an inanimate object that needs washing. Whatever happened to the gentle touch?
