I get it. Jokes can sometimes be taken by people in the wrong context. But jokes, like any other subject can be hurtful and at times, not funny. Even your best friends who normally jokes around with you can hit a nerve so bad that you end up not talking for weeks! Right?
The rant that former SNL comedian Tracy Morgan said about gays on his act in Nashville, TN irked the LGBT community when he went a bit too far with his jokes about homosexuality saying that he would “stab” his son if he was gay. Joke or not, it’s unacceptable and should be brought to the attention of LGBT groups who work very hard to fight for equality and human rights.

Congressman Anthony Weiner admitted that “he lied” about his Twitter account getting hacked. I knew all along that something was fishy about his trying to defend that his account was hacked. When asked directly by reporters, he seemed annoyed and wouldn’t answer the questions directly when a tweet of a photo in grey underwear with a bulging erection surfaced on a tweet from his Twitter account back on May 27.
He now admits that it was supposed to be a DM (Direct Message) to be sent to a woman in Seattle and that he sent it himself. Whaddaya know?
“Last Friday night I tweeted a photograph of myself that I intended to send as direct message as part of a joke to a woman in Seattle,” Mr Weiner said in a New York press conference, streamed live on The Washington Post’s website.
X-Men: First Class ruled the Box Office this weekend of June 3 – 5, 2011
Raking in $56.4 million dollars on its first weekend release, X-Men: First Class ruled at the box office this weekend. Last weekend’s box office hit, Hangover Part II followed 2nd with $31.4 million, and Kung Fu Panda 2 raked in $24.3 million.
Not bad for summer movies for a start. One surprising hit this summer is “Bridesmaids”. I still have to see it. A lot of my sisters and friends are raving about it….

One simply never know who to believe these days. People reports that Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson have parted ways stemming from the rumor that Johansson wasn’t present at Cannes Film Festival when Sean Penn accepted a Palm ‘d Or award. Oh, and that Sean Penn was seen with two hotties on the elevator …. and his room was on the ground floor? Hmmm.
Another celebrity split rumor is Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz. Apparently, A-Rod gave a reason of “wanting for focus on baseball”. Cameron apparently wanted more than just fun and dating.. and A-Rod was having none of it. He wanted her to cool it.

The 29-year-old triumphed 6-4 7-6 (7-0) against the Italian, having been the first player from her country to reach the final of the clay-court tournament.
The victory will push her up to a career-high fourth in the world rankings, equaling the best by an Asian player set by Japan’s Kimiko Date Krumm back in 1995.

Well, Congressman Anthony Weiner (no pun intended – LOL!) claims that his Twitter account was hacked. But just like the analysis that Gawker.com made, the photo was uploaded on yFrog and a username and password is required to upload photos to yFrog. CEO Jack Levin of yFrog says that there is no evidence that their system was hacked…
So, with the response that Anthony Weiner gave to Rachel Maddow during an interview that the photo “maybe started out being a photo of mine” created theories out there that there are lewd photos of him out there.. which will probably come up to the surface soon.

Except that these are skinny jeans.
I didn’t think it was one that I would look good in but when I tried a couple on while I was traveling in Rio de Janeiro, I fell in love with them. It’s really costly to shop for clothes in Brazil but I had to have them. So I bought two pairs of low-crotch jeans.

E! Online reports that Kris Humphries (love love love him!!) proposed to Kim Kardashian witha $2 million dollar ring? How true is that? Sheeeez! You get a hunk and a huge rock at the same time?
Well, I guess it’s just rightfully so. Kim Kardashian has built an empire in so short a time… and nothing less would impress her.
Then it was time to plan! Cheban told E! that he advised the NBA player not to propose while they were on vacation, “in front of a million people,” but rather wait until they were back home.
“Do it on your own pace and not on a rushed vacation,” Cheban advised him.
So, Humphries waited…and almost ended up waiting some more!
Cheban described how Kim returned to what she thought was an empty house and later told him she only happened to head upstairs to change her dress, rather than head right for the computer or sit down to watch some TV.
“She walked upstairs and [Kris] was standing there holding flowers, ‘Will you marry me?’ [spelled out] in rose petals, on his knee,” Cheban said. “And it was crazy, because she would have sat downstairs for three hours while he sat there on one knee!”
