I was just watching the behind-the-scenes of the making of Countess Luann‘s music video. It was drama to the max because Ramona didn’t want to join in and a whole exchange of words happened between Luann and Ramona.
I don’t know about the actual “singing” part of Countess LuAnn’s new video, Chic, C’est La Vie but I do like the beat. And if they play this song at Voyeur, I will probably even dance to it. You know us gays, we love a great beat.
Oh my word! Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony split after 7 years of marriage.
I was just reading on TMZ.com that Jennifer Lopez celebrated the 4th of July with her kids and an absent Marc Anthony. A holiday usually reserved for families to get together for a barbecue around the pool or at the par.
Then, I get this news that the famous couple have broken up. Now, what did I tell y’all about true love. It doesn’t freaking exist.
On a joint statement, the ex-couple said:
“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
I remember Marc Anthony way back when he was still married to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. And remember the disastrous Bennifer love fest? Yes, that’s when it all started in 2004.
The couple wed in June 2004 and has 3-year-old twins, Emme and Max.
Well, yet another one bites the dust. Life goes on.

I have always loved Tobey Maquire. Ever since I saw the Indie film, Cider House Rules – I have loved him. Yes, even before he was Spiderman.
There is that sexiness about his nerdiness if you know what I mean. Something about how his voice tone changes when he speaks that drives me crazy. If you haven’t seen Cider House Rules – it’s a must-see. Go and rent it on DVD or streaming. You won’t be disappointed.
And guess what? He’s filming “Life of Pi” for release in 2012. I have heard so much about that book and I intend to read it this summer. Now, I can’t wait for the film to come out.

I’ve had enough. Michele Bachmann said gays are “part of Satan”? (AUDIO)
I had tried to be silent for a while. I was reading (and watching) people go crazy about the things that Michele Bachmann says or do.
Like when she dodged the question when asked about her husband’s “gay-exorcise-pray-the-gay-away-clinic” when the video surfaced online. She totally ignored the question and that is what she’s good at. She doesn’t answer any question that would put her in a bad light. But then again, how long do you think she can dodge questions. You can’t run for President without answering basic questions that will show your true character.
Then, that “pledge”. OMG! Did you see how Whoopi Goldberg ripped them a new one on the view because of the “pledge”? Many said that they would vote for Whoopi Goldberg should she run for president.
And now, this 2004 lecture audio surfaces when Michelle talks about homosexuality and that it is a “part of Satan”. I lost it. I just have to start doing what great blogs I follow, like Towleroad.com which exposes these types of craziness and blog about them as well.
Remember Christine O’ Donnell? What I hope will happen is that people will see the light about Michele Bachmann like we saw in Christine O’ Donnell – if that happens, I’ll be happy.

Customers surprised about Netflix’s Price Hike. Any other alternative?
My Facebook wall was filled with statuses from Friends who received an email from Netflix announcing a price change to their offered subscription.
One friend had a subscription fee of $7.99 for unlimited streaming and unlimited DVDs per month. The email had announced that they will now be separating the offered subscriptions. Either you get pure unlimited streaming OR pure unlimited DVDs for $7.99 USD per month. If you want both, you will have to pay twice the amount, which in total is another $5.00 or so extra per month you’re going to pay.
But what I ask is, is there any alternative? The convenience, the low price and timeliness offered by Netflix is unmatched if you ask me. Blockbuster stores in and around my area have shutdown their brick-and-mortar stores while their online subscription IMO cannot match Netflix’s timeliness and fees.
So my friend says, “I’m never leaving Netflix even though they just screwed me.” Oh dear.

Did you see last night’s “Inside the Actor’s Studio” with guest Jennifer Aniston?
It was a treat. I was watching The Millionaire Matchmaker and when I saw that Jennifer was going to be the guest on Inside the Actor’s Studio, I just had to hang on and wait.
It was indeed a treat. One question that came up during the interview though is when Jennifer told the host James Lipton that while playing baseball with her dad, she was hit in the nose really badly that broke her nose. James asked, “That’s a broken nose?” to where Jennifer replied, “Not anymore.”
Ha! I guess she was eluding to the fact that she had it fixed. Very subtle but hey, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
She remembered moving from Greece when she was very young and being so poor while living in New York as a child. Isn’t it funny how life can turn around and give you the best after going through tough times?
So peeps, don’t lose hope. There’s a better life out there. Work hard, stay focused and you’ll get there. Jennifer did.

Although the post didn’t say whether the reason for her cutting her husband’s pee pee was due to infidelity. It could have been other things… but again…. aray ko!!!!

I hope that there isn’t any truth to these allegations. Otherwise, my ditse will probably freak out because she’s totally in love with Neil Etheridge. That is not my biggest concern though. My concern is the team’s qualifying game for 2014 World Cup in Bahrain against Kuwait. They don’t need this kind of detraction before a game.
News reports say that an unconfirmed email from a German guy named Paul Weiler was received (who was supposedly a consultant to PFF). The email stated (and published as is):
“Players Anton del Rosario, Jason Sabio and especially Simon Greatwich were involved and recorded the incident also via video cam (Jason Sabio was the one holding camera). Neil Etheridge and his very best friend Simon Greatwich did rape the woman and it seems happened in a villa/house of general manager Dan Palami (who seems not know about what happened in his house and was not there). ‘Master mind’ of this sex violence idea seems Anton del Rosario .. so far I know he did not rape the woman but pushed the others to do it.”
“I can not live w/ the hard facts that players raped a young Manila woman and that it will be ‘okay’ for everybody. I have the fear that this players (if no punishment happens) they will do it again and maybe serious Azkals players are also pressured by them.

Sportsmen do get adrenaline rush and could sometimes be violent. There are many who have been accused of sexual assault.

Another underdog wins: Rebecca Black will release a new single. “My Moment”
She has survived and guess what, Rebecca Black is here to stay. You may have or may have not liked her first single “Friday” but that’s beside the point. She is a star now and regardless of how you feel about her, she’s going to rake in more dough than you and I put together.
According to the Hollywood Reporter,
(The single) Written by Brandon “Blue” Hamilton, whose credits included a track on Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never: The Remixes, and Quinton Tolbert and produced by Charlton Pettus (Tears for Fears, Hilary Duff), its accompanying video features footage of Black receiving an award at her junior high school and attending red carpet premieres to “tell the story of her sudden rise to fame,” according to a statement. “It’s a fairytale story, but it happened in real life.”
Black is also putting the finishing touches on a five-track EP, which she will self-release in August, foregoing the traditional route of signing with a label.
The single will be released on July 18, 2011.

Joining Gordon Beckham, Kobe Bryant, Joakim Noah and DeSean Jackson – Oakland A’s pitching prospect Ian Krol has come under fire and was suspended after tweeting a graphic tweet that contained a gay slur:
“ASU is a bunch of fake a** f***, get on one knee a **** **, I’m better than you’ll ever be…”
That is according to Larry Brown of LarryBrownSports.com.
The world is constantly evolving and just like any racial slurs that you utter today could get you in trouble, gay slurs are equally unacceptable to society now.
Companies are putting policies about it, even sports teams are being very cognizant of the fact that hateful words have no place in sports.

Yes peeps. Our mini-fashionista was born. The first daughter for David and Victoria Beckham was born this morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Loas Angeles. The baby weighed 7 lbs and 10 oz. Mom and baby are doing fine.

Charice, the Filipina Youtube sensation that was discovered by Oprah Winfrey and now managed by star creator, David Foster is flying high. Although it has been tough for her to penetrate the US market, one single did make it to the top of the Billboard charts which is Pyramid.
However, even without the mega-multi-million-dollar-double-platinum-album, she’s not doing bad. She had a couple of guestings on the popular musical television show Glee, she was a voice over for a chipmunk movie and has just completed filming a movie with Salma Hayek. She continues to tour the world giving joy to all her fans. Guess what, it is now rumored that her net worth is $15 million dollars. Can you believe it? I can!
Charice is hard-working. She’s got great work ethics and with those traits, you are bound to be successful no matter what the consequences. A little bit of luck is needed yes, but it’s 5% luck and 95% hard-work.
The most recent news is the collaboration between Charice and another Filipina artist, ASAP mainstay - Sarah Geronimo. It could be a new single or a concert tour – who knows. But is should be happening soon!

Should divorce be allowed in a Catholic country like the Philippines?
There are many reasons why couples file for divorce. It could be because of financial hardship, infidelity, and the worst – domestic violence. The Philippines is the only remaining country in the world who does not allow divorce.
House Bill 1799 was introduced by GABRIELA Women’s Party in July of 2010. Here’s an except from the bill:
Even when couples start out well in their marriage, political, economic and social realities take their toll on their relationship. Some are not prepared to handle the intricacies of the married life. For a large number of women, the inequalities and violence in marriage negate its ideals as the embodiment of love, care and safety and erode the bases upon which a marriage is founded. The marital relations facilitate the commission of violence and perpetuate their oppression. Official figures in 2009 showed that nineteen women were victims of marital violence everyday. Among the different forms of violence and abuse against women committed in 2009, wife battery ranked highest at 6,783 or 72% according to the Philippine National Police (PNP). The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) likewise recorded marital violence as highest among different forms of violence against women at 1,933. Previous reports of the PNP about three of ten perpetrators of violence against women were husbands of the victims. Husbands accounted for 28 per cent of the violence against women crimes.

Can Justin Timberlake Really Save MySpace?
Justin Timberlake and his partner, Specific Media bought MySpace for a cool $35 million dollars with plans to rekindle the dying social media site.
His manager Johnny Wright told the Hollywood Reporter recently:
“We want to bring the industry back to Myspace to really look at the talented people that have put their faces there. Whether it becomes a talent competition or something like that, those are things that we will still flesh out. We definitely want to bring the industry back to Myspace to really look at the talented people that have put their faces there.”
Plans are to be unveiled on August 17th.
Maybe, Justin’s role as Sean Parker (the founder of Napster) on The Social Network rubbed off on him and thought he could actually make a difference in the future of MySpace. Can they do it? Let’s wait and see!

Jury found Casey Anthony Not Guilty on first-degree murder (VIDEO) #caseyanthonyverdict
Wow! Supporters of Casey Anthony couldn’t be more happier when the verdict was announced today.
Casey Anthony was acquitted of first-degree murder by a jury which consisted of five men and seven women. The six-week trial included allegations of sexual abuse and who killed Caylee Anthony, the 2-year old daughter of Caley Anthony.
It was a very interesting case that was appealing to many who watched the trials day-in and day-out like a soap opera waiting to unfold details about the murder.
The defense presented a case where they maintained that the death of Caley was not deliberate and that she drowned in the pool which the Anthony’s owned and that Casey and her father panicked and tried to cover up the child’s death.

Call it a prank in poor taste, call it crazy but according to Gawker.com, Fox News’ Twitter account was hacked and tweeted that President Obama had been assasinated.
Tweeted from the account was this tweet:
@BarackObama has just passed. The President is dead. A sad 4th of July, indeed. President Barack Obama is dead.
Fox News acknowledged that their account was hacked and have apologized saying,
“regrets any distress the false tweets may have created”
They still cannot access their account so as of this writing, the tweets are still active.
Yes, I agree – they should have already called Twitter about this. But have they?

Maricel Soriano is not having a great week. Now, she is also being accused of be a drug user. Allegedly.
May Cachuela and Camille Acojedo, the two household help who claims that the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano maltreated and physically abused them have come up with something else more scandalous. They believe that the actress is also using drugs (which they said probably explains her behavior).
The words used by Maricel as accused by her household help are so serious.
Daniel Radcliffe Reveals Addiction to Alcohol. Whiskey to be exact.
The Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe admitted to GQ UK in an interview that he suffered addiction to alcohol that started when they began filming Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
There seems to be a pattern for young stars who were thrust into fame at such a very young age. Coping with being famous must really be overwhelming that one has to find a way to feel normal.
“There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me,” he tells GQ.
He has since become sober last year and realized early enough that if he continues with the addiction, his life could lead to a downward spiral.
“I’m actually enjoying the fact I can have a relationship with my girlfriend where I’m really pleasant and I’m not f–king up totally all the time. There’s no shame in enjoying the quiet life. And that’s been the realization of the past few years for me.”

Luis Manzano is known to be big on Twitter. He interacts with his fans on Twitter almost daily. Although, Luis can never be taken seriously with his tweets because he normally doesn’t respond to his followers with a serious tone.
Angel Locsin, Luis Manzano’s ex-girlfriend is also very active on Twitter. Most recently linked to Azkal’s Phil Younghusband, and she even went to watch Azkal’s game against Pakistan and witness the Philippine team’s victory.

This is something that I didn’t expect from the Diamond Star, Maricel Soriano. It’s a shame if there’s any truth to the accusations of two household help of the start who escaped and went to authorities to complain about abuse and maltreatment.
If you must know, Maricel Soriano is best known for her being “mataray” and will face anyone who tries to malign her. She has been out of the limelight for a while.
