Trouble in Paradise for KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual?

Rumors circulating about celebrity splits can sometimes be ignored.  But if it catches wave, there usually is something behind the rumor.  Just recently, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett had to defend their marriage when rumors flared that their marriage was over.  As celebrities, unfortunately you don’t have the privilege for privacy.

Now, another celebrity couple has been targeted but this time, it’s not a rumor.  KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual have been known as a couple now for almost a year.  Their first anniversary will be in two months, October 21st to be exact.

When the rumor started, everyone was just shrugging it off as a publicity stunt once again until KC’s mom, Megastar Sharon Cuneta spoke about what’s going on with her daughter lately.  She was quoted as saying:

“I just want whoever it is who will be in my daughter’s life would love and take care of her the way we would. Kasi hindi ko pinalaki ‘yan para i-take for granted lang o balewalain.

“Uulitin ko sinabi ng Daddy ko noon: ‘Kahit metro aide ang maging asawa niya basta siya yung mahal na mahal, yung alagang-alaga.'”

She continued on to send a message without denying or confirming relationship problems of her daughter on TV Patrol when she said:

“Kristina, Mama’s here. Don’t you forget, you’re my daughter.

“We love you.

“We went through so much when you were little. You don’t have to go through it yourself.”

Then, Gabby Concepcion – KC’s biological dad was also asked about the issue via text and his reply was:

“May tampuhan but nothing serious. Normal lang naman for real relationships, di ba?

“They’ve been through worse than this. By now, baka nga bati na.”

So, there is something going on but it’s just normal.  People go through that everyday.  It’s just that it is magnified if you are a celebrity.  I guess that’s the price they pay.
