Danica May Camacho was born before midnight on Sunday, October 30th and considered the first of the 7 billionth babies to be born around the globe.
CBS News reports:
The celebrations began in the Philippines, where baby Danica May Camacho was greeted with cheers and an explosion of photographers’ flashbulbs at Manila’s Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital. She arrived two minutes before midnight Sunday, but doctors say that was close enough to count for a Monday birthday.

Yes folks, the rumors are true. Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her 72-day husband and NBA star, Kris Humphries. Whoah! Were you shocked? Nope, I was not.
The couple has a pre-nuptial agreement and therefore this shouldn’t be messy. However, let me just ask. You make $10 million dollars on your wedding, and then you file for divorce 72 days later? Pure coincidence??
Ryan Seacrest who produces Kardashian shows on E! even confirmed the filing by tweeting:
“Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her”
According to TMZ, the divorce papers were filed with a date of October 31st (BOO!) and the reason for the request is “Irreconcilable Differences” – Doesn’t everybody in Hollywood use this as their reason?

What do you get when you get Alan Menken (who’s well known American Musical theatre, pianist and film composer) in a room? You get the best of musicals and broadway to come along with it. Tony Award winner Lea Salonga and Glee’s Darren Criss serenaded Alan Menken with popular Disney songs the songwriter wrote. He is best know for his work on Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and many more.
The songs are entertaining because Darren Criss (who I love so much when he performs Disney songs) put his own spin on the songs and was joined by Lea Salong in the end to sing A Whole New World. It was fantastic.

I’m thinking of getting away. Now that winter is near, how about Tampa, Florida?
I wish I could be one of those snowbirds who fly south for the winter months. I like the fall weather and I can stand the weather just fine. And it’s pretty with all the leaves changing colors all throughout the northeast. But, winter is not my thing. And when it’s freezing cold outside, what better place to go than Florida?
My first trip to Florida was with my sister and her family. We took the train and from New York to Florida, you have a chance to see how beautiful America really is. With Amtrak though, we were able to take my brother-in-law’s car and by the time we got there, we had not problems going around. Having a car in Florida is a must and if you’re around the Orlando area, there are other sites you would like to visit other than Disney World.
I have a friend who moved to Tampa and I would like to pay him a visit this winter. The problem is that he had used up all of his vacation days and will not be able to spend the week with me unless it’s night time or a weekend. I am actually planning my trip now and since he’s not going to be able to run around with me, I am checking up on a Tampa car rental place where I could rent a car for a week so I can see the sights (wink wink!!) while he’s working. I sure am not going to wake up at 5:30 a.m. in the morning to take him to work so I can use his car for the day. I am on vacation!
So, if any readers out there know of a good car rental place in Tampa, please give a shout.

The reality-show-stars-turned-moguls consist of the Kardashian family which includes Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Rob and their mom – Kris Jenner. They’ve buil their brand so well that they can get into any industry including perfume, clothing and all that makes money.
Recently, reports say that the family has registered the name “Kardashian Kollection Home” which will include furnishings from bathrooms towels, to mats, and other home furnishings. Sears already carry the Kardashian Kollection for clothing and accessories such as shoes, jewelry and handbags. What else will they not get into next?
The genius behind it all is Kris Jenner who knows how to market her children for exploitation and profit from it. Hey, a mom’s gotta do what a mom’s gotta do right>
How do you get a new blog or your company’s website to appear on top of searches?
I remember my early days as a blogger. My first very real concern was everybody else’s concern. How am I going to get traffic? I have seen many bloggers who started blogs but then fall on the wayside because they can’t seem to get traffic to even keep their interest levels up. You see if I had not done what I did back when I first started this blog, I would probably not have the traffic that I get today. Every business out there has a website. Look up jewelry and you can find thousands of websites. How can you get to the top of the list so that your products are seen first? I have a celebrity blog, how did I manage to get my blog to show on the top of every other celebrity blogs out there?
It’s called SEO or Search Engine Optimization. I had to do it the old way. I had submitted my site to search engines such as Google and Yahoo and many other free service I could find to get traffic. Luckily, it worked for me. I don’t think it’s that easy anymore.
If you have a business that you’re trying to get off the ground or if it’s already off the ground and you want it to take off using your online medium, you need to tap into white label seo for marketing purposes. There are companies now who offer those services where campaigns are created for your company’s website or your blog that could assist you in reaching top of the search engine results ladder. I have a new blog that I just started and I am thinking, with the difficulty of getting my new blog recognized, I may have to rely on companies who provide these services. I think I should.

I am podcaster now and you can prove that by looking at my Random Musings section on this blog. I’ve met many people using Twitter and one of the people whom I met there is Ham Viloria who, for the last few months have been co-hosting my podcasts.
He’s a great co-host because we both can interact with each other and know how to feed off of each others comments. One thing that interests me is that he sounds exactly like Bryanboy, the fashion blogger. And to top it off, he is in love with fashion as well.
He’s a registered nurse by training but a hairdresser by profession. He has actually done hair and make-up for a lot of photo shoots in Manila.
I want to help him expand his business because he’s been really great acting as my co-host and want to find ways on how he can do it. One thing I noticed is that he could start by having fashion business cards created. Not just for hairdressing but a fashion-type business card so he can be identified as someone who is connected or geared to fashion. Look at what happened to Bryanboy. A simple Filipino blogger who made it big because of his passion for fashion. Last I read from HuffPo was that he made over $100K last year. If can can get my friend Ham to earn at least 10% of that, I would be happy. I have to find a way. Maybe, I’ll give it to him as a gift? Maybe.
Libyan Transitional Council confirms that ex-Libyan leader Muhamar Ghadafi is DEAD (VIDEO and PHOTOS)
There were lots of unconfirmed reports about the whereabouts of the ex-Libyan leader, Muhamar Ghadafi. On Reuters, they say that the ex-leader was captured and wounded and has died after being hit in the head. However, on MSNBC and CNN, it has been declared that Ghadafi is dead.
I guess if CNN has published it, they must have had some kind of confirmation about the state of Ghadafi. Story is still developing and although it has been confirmed by the Libyan Transitional Council, there has been no proof just yet. The only proof is a cell phone photo showing the deposed leader wounded. See video below:

Those were Susan Sarandon‘s words when she tried to clarify which Pope she sent the “Dead Man Walking” book to. Which means she sent a copy to Pope John Paul II and not Pope Benedict XVI. Wow!
Her words inflamed Catholic organizations immediately and slams Susan Sarandon for her comment. Bill Donohue, President of Catholic League said,
“Susan Sarandon’s quip about Pope Benedict XVI being a ‘Nazi’ bespeaks unparalleled ignorance.”
Sorry Susan. I don’t like our current pope either but using the N word today to refer to someone is really not a good thing. Only Seinfeld can get away with that.

ABC News Co-anchor Dan Kloeffer came out on live TV (World News Now) while he was discussing Zachary Quinto’s admittance to a New York Magazine interview that he’s “a gay man” for the first time ever.
How did Dan Kloeffer come out? He said after talking about Zachary,
“He’s 34, I’m 35 – I’m thinking, I can lose my distraction about dating actors for that one, maybe.”
The TV host later took to the ABC News website to explain his comment, crediting the former Heroes star with influencing his decision to publicly acknowledge his homosexuality.
Kloeffler writes, “I’ve never shared that I’m gay on-air, even though I’ve been out to my family, friends and co-workers for years. In fact, an old boyfriend – now best friend – has always given me a hard time about not doing so. But for the same reason that Zach decided to come out, I too, no longer wanted to hide this part of my life.”
“There have been too many tragic endings and too many cases of bullying because of intolerance. As a kid I wanted someone to look up to, someone that could relate to the feelings I was having. Most of all, I wanted to know that it would get better. And it did.
“As a journalist, I don’t want to be the story, but as a gay man I don’t want to stand silent if I can offer some inspiration or encouragement to kids that might be struggling with who they are.”
I agree. More has to be done to stop the bullying, stop the teen suicides. The more people who are in the spotlight come out, the more visible we can be. And being visible will tell them – - Yeah, live does get better.
A 2-year old toddler hit by a van, left unaided by passersby gets worldwide attention. (VIDEO)
What could be the reason why people would ignore a child – victim of a hit-and-run – bleeding on the side of the road and left to die? I don’t have any answers but the video is so troubling, I didn’t even want to ruin my Monday when I saw this on Gawker yesterday.
The 2-year old girl was hit by a van, and without even completely stopping – proceeded to leave hitting the girl again with the van’s rear wheels. If you watch the video, a total of 17 passersby ignored and walked around the child. Is this what the world has come to?
People are so afraid to help other people now because they are afraid of being sued or blamed for the incident that they would leave a child to die in the middle of the street just so they could avoid being dragged into the situation.
People who’ve seen the video (I haven’t) were outraged. But what can we do? If you have the stomach for it, here’s the link to the video. I don’t want to see it. It may drive me insane.

Remember when Christina Aguilera was rocking her body and Kelly Osbourne was struggling with her weight? Well, it seems like Kelly Osbourne has deep-seated anger towards Christina because according to Kelly, she was called “fat for years” by the songstress.
So, now that Kelly had lost the weight (total of 40 some pounds) when she joined Dancing with the Stars two years ago – and have kept it off – she has some harsh words for Christina after seeing a video of her performing at a Michael Jackson tribute wearing unflattering clothes.
This was not the first time Kelly had called Christina out. She also called her a fat b***** before.
Kelly appeared on E!’s Fashion Police Friday recently, and when asked by a host what she thought of Christina’s get up at a Michael Jackson’s tribute concert last week, the 26-year-old said: “She called me fat for years. I was never that fat.”
Then, Joan Rivers joined in saying, “Lady Mardmalade got into the peanut butter again.” LOL! Dang!
Kelly’s made those comments before. “Maybe she’s just becoming the fat b—h she was always born to be. I don’t know. She was a c— to me.”

I will be surprised if this separation is not announced any time soon. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore‘s relationship has been on the blog headlines and showbiz news in recent weeks. The couple hasn’t publicly stated if they are separating or not and was even caught camping over the weekend. But the recent revelation of Sara Leal (alleged mistress or one-night-stand partner) of her sexual encounter with Ashton Kutcher at the Hard Rock Cafe Suites in San Diego, Demi Moore may have just had enough.
A moving truck was spotted leaving the couple’s home owned by a company called Wetzel and Sons. The company declined commenting on the matter due to privacy agreements.
Well, I almost expected it from Demi Moore because she is a strong woman and wouldn’t take this kind of abuse from a man she thought would be with her forever. I wonder if Ashton inherited the “Two and a Half Man” curse? I heard that the ratings were in steep decline and then this.
