Sharon Cuneta – Gabby Concepcion movie plans – shelved?
I was a mere teenager when this movie came out. It launched a very successful love team which eventually catapulted Sharon Cuneta to Megastar status. The Gabby Concepcion-Sharon Cuneta tandem spelled blockbuster during those days and TV5 is counting on the drawing power of the love team that created blockbuster hit-after-hit.
However, the plans for a reunited Sharon/Gabby movie was shelved. Not forever but temporarily. According to PEP, and according to the Megastar herself, it is due to the fact that Gabby’s wife is scheduled to give birth to his second child with current wife Genevieve “Ginbee” Yatco Gonzales.
So, for now – we will all have to wait until the reunion movie becomes a reality. Most of their fans have their own families now as well and will surely understand why the movie has been put on hold. I trust that they will all come out of the shadows when the movie finally becomes a reality. Wouldn’t you fall in line to watch it?
