Princess Diana died in a fatal car crash with then boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed 15-years ago today.
She remains as one of the icons of this century who changed the way we think and transformed us completely on how we look at the Royal family.
Her sons, William (15-years old at the time) and Harry (12-years old at the time) whom she loved deeply as the world had seen while she was alive, remembered her during the not-so-recent Royal Wedding.
Prince William, now 30-years old and married to Kate Middleton, Dutchess of Cambridge, expressed his sorrow during an interview with ABC. He said:
“I think she…she would have loved the day and I think, hopefully, she’d be very proud. I’m just very sad that she’s never going to get a chance to meet Kate.”
Prince Harry expressed the same sentiment when he added:
“I think she had the best seat in the house, probably. But yeah, she would have loved to have been there.”
It is a somber day, even though 15 years have gone by. Princess Diana is still loved and still considered “The People’s Princess”.
