Ernest Lorenzo Velasquez-Dee – Known as ”Enchong Dee’ is a Filipino actor, model, and champion swimmer. He is the younger brother of another Filipino actor model, AJ Dee.Enchong is currently part of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic group of talents. He is known on his character as John Joseph “Jojo” Wenceslao in the 2009 TV series Katorse. As an athlete, he has won over 400 medals as a swimmer.
Enchong Dee was born in November 5, 1989, in Naga City, Camarines Sur. He is 170 cm tall. His stage name is actually a homophone of his birth name. After graduating from Naga Hope Christian School, in Naga City, Camarines Sur, he further pursued his swimming career at De La Salle University-Manila. Enchong has Chinese descent from his father’s side. Graduated from Naga Hope Christian School. He further pursued his swimming career at De La Salle University in Manila. Dee was part of the Philippine national swimming team and has participated in the SEA Games and 2006 Asian Games.
Previously linked to “Walang Hanggan” star actress, Julia Montes, Enchong now says that the courtship has fizzled because of scheduling conflicts and time needed to fully court Julia. He was waiting for Julia to turn 18-years old but it seems like that courtship has gone by the wayside for now. He doesn’t intend to court anyone in the near future.
