Ano ba?  I think that whoever wrote the resolutions above could be my twin.  That is exactly what I would have written down, in the same order, for my resolutions come 2013.

Do you believe in making New Year’s Resolutions?   Ako?  Maybe.  I tried making resolutions when I was younger but when I discovered that I couldn’t really keep it – I gave up making one.

But next year will be different for me.  I have made up my mind that the most important thing in my life right now is my health.  After going through what I went through after my surgery, it would be best for me to plan on living a healthier lifestyle and hope that I stick with the plan all through the year.

I wanna be empowered.  There are choices in life and when you make a choice, we hope that the choice is for the betterment of yourself and humanity as a whole.

I will make a list but I’m not making this a “promise”.  These are my goals for 2013 and what I keep till the end of the year would give me inspiration to keep doing this year-after-year.

  • Lose weight
  • Eat healthy
  • Floss
  • Take vitamins daily
  • Stop smoking
  • Drink less
  • Drink 8 glasses of water a day
  • Exercise
  • Read more books
  • Make more money through blogging
  • Start an online business
  • Always be on time
  • Enroll and take two classes next semester
  • Get straight As
  • Visit my family more often
  • Forgive everyone who has wronged me
  • Make new friends
  • Write more letters (avoid e-mail) to friends
  • Visit my mom’s grave
  • Stop sweating the small stuff

If you noticed, I listed 20 items.  I used a bulleted list because the resolution is not in any order.  I have to try and fulfill most of it. That’s all I can do.
