Looking back at this now, I didn’t realize that I made 45K selling items on eBay. I could not believe that I sold over 3,000 items on eBay in the last 11 years. That was the time when I became a Power Seller and sold more items than what I can do with.
That simply means that in this world, there’s money to be made. Whether selling items on eBay, opening up your own business, getting a second job, etc. You can always make money and if you work hard at it, you will reap the benefits in the long run.
I was talking to my friend and he mentioned that he wanted to sell items on eBay. Stuff that he has at home that is just sitting in his storage area doing nothing. That’s the perfect scenario. If you have an item sitting in the storage area for more than a year, chances are, you don’t really need it. Even if you sell it at less than retail cost, you are still recouping money that could go somewhere else except sit in a store room.
So, this weekend – my goal is to go through my stuff in the attic, take pictures of the items and start selling again. What turned me off on selling through eBay was the exorbitant fees that they were charging me. They didn’t use to charge that much and I actually made a profit. Nowadays, you have to be creative when selling something through that medium because the fees will eat away at your profit.
How about you, do you have anything laying around for over a year? Start selling baby!
