American Catholics have a higher support for same-sex marriage than Americans overall. 54% of US Catholics back same-sex marriage as compared to 47% of all Americans.
That’s a wild jump.
That simply means that even the most stringent of all organized religions is evolving.
I have to say that it is a change all religions must face. Poll says that the churches are losing members at an alarming rate.
With the conclave to begin to select the new head of the Catholic Church, I wonder if this is on top of their agenda? Change must happen soon. Most Catholics – specially the young ones – think that the Catholic Church should really be more lenient about contraception and same-sex marriage.
